You are renting the top floor of a 1500 sq ft bungalow. We live in the basement and are available if needed. You will get full access to 2 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms, kitchen, dining room, living room and a study. As well as access to the deck, patio and backyard.

Great neighborhood

The house was clean and just as pictured.Short walk to a mall and restaurants. Watch your first step as you come in the door though. It is a bit steep. The back deck is as lovely to sit out in the morning for coffee. Thanks Cam.

Worked for what we needed

Was great for what we needed when we went up for our coaching courses. We were gone most of the day and back at night so didn't spend too much time in the house. However what we did spend there, it was nice and relaxing. I'm sure if it was more of a vacation stay it would be nice and relaxing (the deck looked inviting even with the snow lol).

Disappointing 1st VRBO experience

This was our 1st VRBO rental. If this is the standard that vrbo sets, it will be our last. The owner lived in the property. The coffee pot was full of mold and the owner did nothing to remedy it. The lighting at the front entry (inside and outside) was non-existent, the owner told us it didn't work & that we should turn on a living room light. This would not have lit up the entry or sidewalk coming up to the entry. The house smelled very strongly of ammonia and cleaning solutions when we arrived, that changed to a moldy/musty smell as the days passed. There didn't appear to be any active smoke alarms. The main bedroom had a fan booster in the duct to increase air flow but the fan didn't work so that bedroom was always cold. The owner lived in the basement and the only security between us and them was a child gate at the top of the stairs. We could clearly hear them downstairs. The reviews mentioned a dodgy step coming up to the entry - this still hasn't been fixed. The only reason we continued to stay there is because we were only there to sleep and were away the rest of the day. It appears this property is owned by someone who is in it purely to make money and isn't willing to invest anything in fixing the problems it has. We would not recommend staying here.

Hidden Jewel of St. Albert

This gem of a home was so lovely...you get the whole upper floor with full deck and patio included. It easily accommodated my family of 4 and allowed us to host local friends and family for meals and visits. The home was comfortable, well cared for and a beautiful eclectic mix of old and new. Being behind a green belt allowed us walks and distraction for my mother with dementia. Overall our family was so pleased and grateful fur the space as we were also there for a wedding and the home accommodated us all so beautifully. We highly recommend this home for anyone wanted a comfortable space that is like a home away from home and more!

Clean, good location for our needs

The home was somewhat dated but very well kept. The hosts were available and helpful when asked about the areas of our concerns. The neighbourhood was a safe area and close to a lot of amenities. Would stay again.
