Mendoza Residence, our Great & Spacious Home in Southern Mesa

Wonderful home nestled on the border of Mesa and Gilbert. The home has a pool and spa and is set up to be pet friendly, however, if your pet causes any damages (excess pet hair/ stains/ etc) you will be charged. There is also a large, covered patio in the backyard with a grill.

No parties or loud noises are allowed after 10 PM and before 6 AM. Any violation will result in a fine of up to $2500. Parking on the street overnight is not allowed. *Pool and Spa heating has an extra charge

Great House

House is great! Host was super responsive to my inquiries. The group I was with had a wonderful long weekend. Would definitely recommend the house.When in Mesa take a trip to the Apache Trail and visit the Original Blue Adobe for dinner!

Great Location

Great location and pleanty of space for the eleven of us. House had all the ammenities we needed. Would have been five stars if the pool/spa heat was working and if the one bed wasn't missing some pieces.

House was nice and in safe area. Bed in downstairs is really soft and person's moved together in middle of bed. Furniture in need of upgrade in kitchen and dining room. Would suggest a full bath downstairs. Over we enjoyed

Party Place

It was a nice place to stay with a big number of family, we like the place and its just a wonderful place to stay, its a clean home and peaceful area , the only thing that needed some attentions are the water heater not enough warm water, also the blinds needs replacements coz some don't have handle to close the blinds. Also the coffee maker needs a new one coz when we use it, it takes too long to brewed. And the rest are just fine. We love iur stay.

Golf trip with buddies

6 friends stayed at this location for 6 nights. We could only find 6 bath towels and there were no pool towels. Everything worked in the house except the FR TV. It was described as a streaming service but we had no advance warning and were not prepared. The weather was cool during our visit but the pool and spa only showed a temp of 82 degrees and was not warm enough to use. Everyone was pleased with the home and enjoyed their stay. Location is convienyent to many golf courses in area.

Cousins reunion

House nice and roomy. House is in need of quite a few repairs. Kitchen was equipped with real old junky stuff and filthy dirty. Especially pots and pans. Old rickety kitchen table and chairs. Bad lighting in kitchen . House could be a show place if it was fixed up. Ugly back yard.. will not stay there again.

Was a wonderful experience!!!

We traveled to Arizona for our daughters wedding and had a wonderful experience. The house was clean, the communication with the owner was great and our stay was wonderful. It was exactly what we needed. The kids enjoyed the pool and the spacious accommodation. We really enjoyed the beautiful Arizona weather. Even though we didn't get a chance to use all of the amenities, we would definitely come back and stay here again.

PICTURES DON’T DO IT JUSTICE!

The pictures for the listing does not do this place justice! It was extremely spacious, comfortable, and an overall nice place. The property manager made sure everything was in place for us, and even came back to bring us some extra things she thought we may need. A few cosmetic updates needed, and the A/C didn’t circulate well in the master bedroom so it was a bit warm. I would also recommend a vacuum system for pool cleaning, as well as more beach towels and sun loungers by the pool, but the pool and hot tub felt great! I was here with friends for a birthday weekend and was not disappointed! Overall extremely happy!

Better Than Expected

Yes, the house could use some updating but overall we were pleased with our stay. The house is huge with plenty of room for a large group. The pool was warm and big. The kitchen was fully stocked with all necessities. The neighborhood was safe and close to shopping and restaurants. The upstairs AC was not working, but a repairman was there trying to fix it. One of the upstairs showers leaks into a downstairs bedroom so we treated that bathroom as a half bath and used the other 2 showers in the home. We would definitely stay here again.

Great potential

The house needs a lot of work. All previous reviews are accurate. It could be a great rental if repairs are fixed. The kitchen floor is much to he desired. The pool is a great asset but the yard needs help. The neighborhood is great and the house location is perfect. It’s a big house with great potential.

Don't have high expectations

The property is large and would be a very nice house, if it were maintained properly. There are a lot of marks on the walls, pieces of the floor are missing in the kitchen, the pool and hot tub were not clean and do not function correctly. There is no diving board as pictured in the listing. When we arrived the property had not been cleaned/sanitized from the previous guests, there were bags of garbage and recycling, the beds were dirty, the floors and bathrooms were dirty, etc. We spent our first evening in the house cleaning. We did laundry for the first 2 days to get all of the bedding and towels clean. We had to clean the pool in order to use it. We had to wash dishes before we could use them because of dried food stuck to them from previous use. We never used the grill because it was also dirty and we were sick of having to clean everything. I say all of this wishing I was exaggerating. Unfortunately, I'm not and I honestly have never experienced anything like this in previous rentals. The property manager was quick to respond and apologetic; however, was not able to fix any of this for us. The owner of the property said he would only refund our cleaning fee for the inconvenience. I don't feel like our group has out of ordinary expectations and I usually don't post these things. Had the house been ready, garbage free and sanitized, I would have given it a slightly higher rating. It was just a huge disappointment throughout our stay.

Big house lots of room

This house would have been perfect!!! It needs major maintenance done to it, leaky ceiling, upstairs ac didn’t work, dryer takes a long time to dry, pool and hot tub are hard to get to work, dishwasher needs fixed, needs more towels and face cloths, would have been nice to have more seating outside. If all that was fixed this is the place to stay with a big family!!! We enjoyed tho and that’s great! Thanks

Great price, potential be a nice place, needs a little work, new management company is working on it

There are definitely things that need fixing and the day after we got there a new company showed up to get the place cleaned up. We kept a running list of things that we found wrong and the new management company was actively working on them through out the week we were there. It will take some time, but I feel like they have the right crew in place to get this to a very nice rental. No TV stations, but we had a Roku. Pool was heated, but filter wasn't working, so there was a bit of dirt on the bottom. Hot tub was same temp as pool. Bedrooms were fine. We didn't see any leaking, but it was obvious there was some patching in the ceilings from recent fixes. We had 8 guys and were golfing, so the place was fine for us. All said they would rent again next year if it was available and was priced similarly.

Adequate for the Price

Seven male adult golfers spent a week in the house. Each had their own bedroom which was important to us. Dining room table and chairs were flimsy, nice leather furniture for watching TV however. Could not get the jets to work in the hot tub which would have been nice. Stove, microwaves and oven worked fine, nice new refrigerator. Most of us agreed beds were comfortable. To watch TV you have to stream off of your own Ipad or lap top. When we arrived the house was clean but the previous renters had left 3 garbage cans full of trash and it took the cleaners extra time to get the house ready for us. VRBO made sure the trash was picked up but it took several days. The thermostats are "NEST" so you need to know how to work them to make adjustments. The house just needs repairs and some new furniture to make it better. For the price it was adequate and met our needs since we spent most of our time at the golf course and eating out.

We have a lot of rooms/beds for you to stay in comfort with us. We have a pool with a hot tub but its a free amenity, the house is priced without it being included (in case of weather not letting the heater keep up).
