Steps away from Lake Weir. Private community beach. Restaurant next door with full bar and yummy food. Live music on some nights. Plenty of parking to bring your water toys and park a boat trailer. If you don’t have any or don’t want to haul it, rentals available next door: info in the pictures. Lots of shopping and eats in the Villages only 5 mins away. Only 1 hour from Disney World. Bring your fur baby but make sure they are leashed. Snow birds also welcome. Smart TV with streaming capabilities- YouTube TV subscription on all 3 TV’s.
Propane, charcoal, smoker grill available- Bring your own propane/charcoal/wood. No more than 6 people aloud on the property. Absolutely NO parties.

The house is the best one in the community you walk out the door every morning to a beautiful lake view, Eatons beach sandbar and grill is next door and i normally like to eat in but the food was so good it made skipping cooking an easy choice. The house was clean and smelled fresh and welcoming, couldnt have been a better stay.

Great location great cabin

Cabin was wonderful. Check-in easy. Host was fantastic. Easy to get around for food and shopping. Such a beautiful view. Wish would have booked longer. Will plan to book again.

Lovely Lakeside Community

My son, his wife and teenage daughter loved staying here for a week. Home was clean, comfortable and neighbor's were friendly. Definitely would book again.

Enjoyed staying at this lake house on lake Weir. Very clean and neat with all the amenities for a very nice stay. Close proximity to Eaton’s beach restaurant was a plus! Friendly local community and would definitely stay there again . Check in and out was very easy and efficient.

Tucked Away!

If you’re looking for quiet, small and cozy! This is it! It was perfect for what we were looking for. There was a a hiccup on the property, nothing to do with the rental itself. Even still it was a great trip. And the host is extremely kind and responsive. 5 stars for sure! Reviews are huge for me, as is kindness. Will stay again for sure! Thanks April!

Piece of heaven

This lake view cottage is a peaceful and comfortable place. We were very happy with the choice and look forward to returning on day. Lake Weir is a beautiful hidden gem everyone should get to experience.

Absolutely terrific, so comfortable it felt like home.

Vrbo’ s fees are high, the property itself is a terrific value. Everything you need is supplied. We just loved it. If we didn’t have to go through Vrbo we would definitely go back.

Cute and Cozy

No complaints about our stay other than wishing we could have stayed longer. The small gated community was very welcoming for myself, my fiancé, and our pup. The house was super clean, bath towels were plush, and it’s just a short walk down to the private beach for awesome views of the lake!

Vrbo site difficult to navigate.

If you use an Apple phone the directions and information to the property is very difficult to find. These issues don’t exist with Airbnb sites. Once we stopped nearby where we thought it was and hadn’t heard from the owner. We figured out how to contact her and luckily, she instantly got back to us. More detailed instructions are needed for easier access to the information necessary to enjoy your stay. We thought from the photos the property was on the beach. It is not, for older or handicapped people there are many steps or a lengthy steep road to get to the private beach. To walk to the restaurant I had to jump the front gate and open it for my spouse using the code for cars. The next day I contacted the owner again and she told us to walk through The dumpster area which smells bad and only has access one way. You have to leave it unlocked once you go through. Other than that, our stay was very nice, the property was clean, well-maintained and everything worked. We would definitely stay there again.

Lake Weir Cottages

We had a great stay in the cottage. Exactly as advertised. In a gated area with a private beach. Lots to do in the area with plenty of restaurants. The Villages are close by with daily music. Publix and Winn Dixie are also close by.

Great retreat

This was our first month long stay in Florida. The lake house is updated and had plenty of room for us. It is nicely decorated and makes you feel at home. The mattress was very comfortable which is a huge plus. We enjoyed the rocking chairs on the porch and the view of the lake. A great spot for morning coffee. You can walk down the steps to the beach. We took our golf cart but we really didn’t need it. There is a laundry facility 2 doors down with coin operated large capacity washers and dryers for $1.25. The lake house is close to The Villages where they have nightly music. We also enjoyed the short walk down to Eatons Beach restaurant. Owner is available by phone/text and very responsive.

Perfect!

Everything about our trip was perfect- the house, the location, the weather! The house has recently been updated and it is super cute and cozy! I love that the little sun porch is incorporated into the main living area of the house. We had plenty of space for my husband and I and our four boys. The location is perfect for a quiet, relaxing vacation (we used the beach almost daily), and close enough for day excursions to some of the bigger Florida attractions. I hope we can come back again some day!

Lake Weir weekend

Location was superb. Close to the waterfront restaurant which also had rentals for boats, seadoos, etc. w a small beach to lounge on. Loved it.
