The Red Door Lakeside sits high upon the ridge overlooking Barren River Lake. A 2400 sf. farmhouse-style home, has 3 floors, 3 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, and sleeps 8 comfortably. All furnishings have been purchased or handcrafted specifically for the comfort of our guests.

This house was incredible! Right on the lake with a great view with everything we needed. The sleeping porch was a big hit and had someone out there every night. Would highly recommend for a getaway or any other outing

This home is a perfect spot for celebrations or just for relaxing days with views of the lake. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you’d need to make a home cooked meal. The grill could’ve used a good cleaning but was functional. Our favorite spot was the screened in porch.

Beautiful Kentucky Lake

What a beautiful destination for a family reunion. We ran into some weather difficulties, and the owners stepped in immediately to make everything right. This is your best choice of a place to relax with a lake view.

Ladies Weekend

We selected this lake house for a lady's weekend with our Mom. We had a wonderful time. The house was beautifully decorated and well stocked with everything we needed. A good time was had by all. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Beautiful home

A wonderful to place to stay! We met for a girls weekend and really enjoyed our time at the Red Door Lakeside. The home was beautifully decorated and very clean. Everything we needed was provided and Tammy was so helpful! We would definitely stay here again!

Great rental!

This property was wonderful. It was impeccably clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. The king bedroom has an amazing view, and the screened in porch was our favorite spot to relax. The owner helped us find many fun things to do nearby, and had treats waiting when we arrived. Great experience!

Wonderful Family Trip

The house is absolutely beautiful, and Tammy was a fantastic host! The Christmas decor was a very nice touch, and the kids, parents, and grandparents in my group were all very comfortable during our stay. Everything was extremely clean. My kids especially enjoyed all of the games, books, and toys provided. We would not hesitate to book again, and highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area!

Absolutely beautiful!

Great place to have your loved one's birthday party! Main level is just the right size. The decks are icing on the cake. Tammy took very good care of us too! We will definitely be back!

Clean and comfy

We appreciated the spotless clean house and it’s amenities. The kids loved the toys and we all played board games. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen that had everything we needed and the bed sheets felt like butter!

Beautiful home!

This home was amazing! So clean and comfortable. Tammy went out of her way to make sure we had the best stay. Far enough from the city to see stars I’ve never seen before yet close enough that you didn’t have to travel far for adventure. This is definitely a return vacation home for us!! The Red Door is the perfect place to host a large gathering! The house is designed for entertaining with a large, open kitchen and multiple gathering places both indoor and outdoor. The house was very clean and Tammy is super helpful and responsive. If we ever find ourselves in the area again we will definitely stay at the Red Door!

We spent several years visiting Barren River Lake and fell in love with the area...so much so that we relocated from Ohio. Keith and I have incorporated our favorite things into the Red Door Lakeside. We never want to be just a place to spend the night...we want to provide a great vacation rental experience. The location is part of the Sunset Ridge development on the main channel of Barren River Lake. Nestled in the rural countryside of Kentucky, as the seasons change so do the surroundings. Each season offers a unique feel and the sunsets never disappoint!!

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

I love that the floor plan not only allows for all 8 guests to eat together, watch a movie together, play games together...but at the same time has lots of space for branching out to read a book on the front porch, take a nap in the screened Sleeping Porch, let kids play on one level and adults escape somewhere else, etc!!
