Come enjoy Up the Creek. This 3 bedroom, 2 bath home has everything you could want and more. Enjoy the creek out back, enjoy your morning coffee or evening drinks on either the rocking chairs on the front porch or the nice screened in back deck. Charcoal Grill to enjoy cooking your meals listening to the creek. Cool evenings can be enjoyed having a nice fire in the fireplace watching tv. Fully equipped kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 2 bath, and loft with 2 twin beds. Easy access, motorcycle accessible. Plenty of parking for truck/trailer, if needed. Conveniently located to everything. Housekeeping, linens, and firewood (for winter and for fireplace only) is included in total costs.

Lovely home in a quiet but easily accessed and beautiful area. Very comfortable and lots of room. Everything we needed for a great family get together. Great communication and quick responses from owner/manager.

HelloBeautiful place, great locals and food. As far as the cabin goes, there were a few things that could use improvement. (We had already sent a message regarding the Keurig part of the coffee maker not working).The shower door in the hall bathroom came off. Did NOT break but when slid open, it fell back. We put it back on but it's a little hard

Everything was as advertised. We would book this unit again. We really enjoyed the Maggie Valley area and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Standout items are the running creek on property, the great room, the fireplace and the easy location.

Excellent place to stay

Property was as advertised, clean and comfortable. We were a group of five and everyone had their own space. Also, house was centrally located to places we visited such as Asheville, Gatlinburg and Deals Gap.

Perfect get away

We stayed at this location for mini truck nationals and it was a great location for the show at the fair grounds. We saw elk most mornings.The house itself is equipped with everything you’ll need in the kitchen. All the linens are provided. The landlord is very responsive and answers any questions. They mention trailer parking, I’m not sure a car trailer could be accommodated but a motorcycle trailer could. Would stay at this house again

Lovely cabin

This cabin was great for me and my family. My two kids loved the air hockey table and corn hole in the basement, and taking neighborhood walks. We saw Elk! It’s very close to the ski mountain and tube world. The beds are very comfortable, and the house was clean.

Peaceful Christmas

The home is beautiful. Very clean and loved the little Christmas tree, all the rooms decorated nicely with higher end things instead of dirty and chipped pieces and dishes. This home you could tell they took pride in their things and cared about their guests being comfortable. The creek out back is beautiful along with the screened porch.

Up the Creek Thanksgiving trip

We really loved the house and enjoyed our long weekend over Thanksgiving. We had little delay with the heat at first but once the unit was reset we got it on track. Host was easy to contact and deal with. Overall experience was great, will come back.

Very Disappointed

this is a very old house. pictures make it look like a great place. NOT. Very poor lighting throughout house. drainage in bathroom sinks are so slow {or stopped up} you have to wait to finish brushing teeth and washing hands. bedside tables so small, big enough for small lamp. my cpap machine would not rest on it. Very out dated . Desperately needs lots of work. we wiil not be a repeat

Great location

Our family of 5 love staying in Maggie Valley and this place was cute and had plenty of room to spread out. We ventured to Bust your Butt Falls, Pretty Place, Looking Glass Falls, Clingman's Dome, Cades Cove, Alum Cave, Soco Falls, tubing in Cherokee, as well as shopping in Asheville and Gatlinburg. We've never eaten at a bad restaurant in Maggie Valley. Our girls loved the air hockey table and chess board. The Elk were right our front almost every night. Even though it's behind Soco Rd the creek helped make it a very quiet stay. Thank you for the memories we were able to make this year.

JUST WHAT WE WERE LOOKING FOR

The property is a little tricky to find, especially in the dark, but we managed just fine. The rock walkway from the driveway to the front door is a major tripping hazard, and the wooden borders are slippery as ice when wet or damp, but other than that it was perfect. Once inside you could see it was well cleaned and maintained. The smell of the fireplace was a bit overwhelming at first but then brought back childhood memories of cabins long since forgotten. Plenty of room to relax and unwind. There is even a very nice screened-in porch in rear of home to sit and listen to the mesmerizing sounds of rushing stream below. The property even offered the use of a one car garage under the home, if needed. We kept our motorcycle there one night when it rained. All in all, a perfect getaway nestled in the woods. A dozen elk meandered through nightly, looking for a bite to eat safe from any traffic. Highly recommended place to stay. We were there for eight days, but we could have stayed there for months. We will be back when we return to Maggie Valley.

Always Pleasant

I absolutely love this home and enjoy our stay each year. The stream and the comfort of ir always make it enjoyable. Only one thing we wish it had a hot tub. We hope to return next year.

Wonderful Time

We had a very nice time at Up The Creek. Unfortunately it was raining and cold so didn’t spend much time outdoors. House is very nice, clean and close to Maggie Valley.

Very Nice property, quiet neighborhood

This was a much needed break. The house was immaculate and we enjoyed the stream behind the house very much. My husband is in the mini truck scene so he loved that he could keep his truck in the garage. We loved it so much we have already booked it for next year.

The neighborhood elk came by for a visit.

Beautiful home in an established neighborhood. Clean and maintained. The neighborhood elk came by for a visit! So exciting. They just pose for pictures. The only downside is the only access to the home are steep stairs. If you have issues with steps this might not be the best place for you. But I understand Kathy manages other homes that might suite you better.

Great vacation rental!!!

Great cabin and location. Sound of the creek was awesome. Wonderful host Cathy,took care of everything we needed. Cabin offers spacious size and sleeping. Two great outside entertainment areas next to the creek. A must have staying destination!!!
