Decorated throughout with lovely paintings, this condo is a perfect spot for enjoying a break by the beach! Enjoy views of the ocean and tropical trees as you dine, then walk over to the beach for a sunset stroll. This condo's sitting room area merges perfectly with the cooking and dining area, so everyone can enjoy time together. Central AC keeps the whole space cool and comfortable. Lovely green tile work fills the cooking space and the spacious en suite bathroom, adding a luxurious touch. Guests can also partake in a gorgeous shared oceanside pool during their stay!

This home features a spacious veranda that offers incredible panoramic views, along with one-way mirror glass windows that provide added privacy while still allowing you to enjoy the scenery. Its close proximity to the beach makes it easy for guests to take a leisurely walk to the shoreline and enjoy everything the coast has to offer.

The beach is an easy walk away from this home, so guests are free to explore and enjoy. Take a break and enjoy some lunch at The Quarterdeck just 230 meters (less than one quarter mile) from the condo. Drive just under seven kilometers (just under four-and-a-half miles) to enjoy the Placencia Municipal Pier, a hub of local activity and commerce near a beautiful beach. If guests want to explore the wider area, learn about one of Belize's most famous imports with Bunches of Fun Banana Farm Tours, based just 24 kilometers (just under 15 miles) from the condo.

My husband and I stayed here for a little over a week and had a great time. It could use a little bit of TLC but overall it was good. Loved the ocean view and being so close to the pool!

A great location for relaxing stay.

We loved our stay at Beachside Villas in Placencia. These condos are right on the water, literally 10 yards from the surf line. The price was great and the staff was responsive. It’s a great location between Placencia town and Maya Beach, about halfway down the peninsula. Plenty of grocery stores and restaurants are near it. Comfortable and clean, it was a relaxing vacation.

Beautiful View, lovely space

We loved having two rooms, the view was incredible, having the dock right outside with the little hut on it and the pool was wonderful too. We also LOVED having a blender to make our own smoothies. We did have trouble contacting Vacasa, so when we checked in and needed help with bedding we couldn't get ahold of anyone. Otherwise it was a wonderful place.

I rate the stay 5 stars except. 10 am checkout time. That is the only reason i wont stay again. Remember we are on vacation not business and to require 10 am check out is a big turn off.

The condo was decently clean and had good amenities. The view was great out the front deck directly to the ocean. The management is terrible. Was unable to access the unit for nearly 2 hours after travelling all day to get there. The lock box failed and no one attended for 1.5 - 2 hours. Also on one day there was no wifi.

Disappointed Neglect

This property is in need of a make-over by someone who cares. It has a great location, but currently there is construction next-door, all exterior paint is in need of painting in a bad way. The steps leading to the beach have rotting wood underneath of it. We were greeted by ants on the countertop before any food was brought in. The television did not work from day one and we were told that it had been blown out by electrical surge, but then not replaced all week so we had no television, but not to worry, if you thought you were gonna read then, the reading light in the bedroom was missing the toggle so you couldn’t turn the light on. It does have a spectacular view straight out to the ocean. It looks like someone bought it and never wanted to put another penny into it, just rent it out and hopefully make a lot of money without any work.

Our local manager assured us that the home has been power washed and is scheduled to be painted. Our caretaker will have the steps replaced, and pest control has been addressed. The part for the lamp that was on order was delivered, and it has been repaired. Additionally, the TV was replaced, and we appreciate you letting us compensate you for the lack of this amenity during your visit. RUN away from this listing

This place was a decent location, and the concierge was nice. The Pro's end there. The beach was not kept clean...there was a lot of trash accumulated all over. There are packs of stray dogs that are friendly enough, but they run around at night barking at all hours. I could not get a good night rest a single night. The worst part by far is the bugs. If you left a single crumb on the counter (or anywhere) thousand of mini ants would attack with in seconds. Then came the cockroaches. We were there for four or five days and didn't see any until the last day, but once we did, we were under full attack. I literally got woken up by a giant cockroach crawling on me in bed. And, the people who run the place obviously knew about it because while looking for a blow dryer (which we never found), we found a huge can of cockroach spray under the bathroom sink. I am absolutely disgusted with this place and wouldn't recommend any book here

Wonderful Stay at the Villas AGAIN!

I've been staying at the villas for sometime. I live a little more than 2 hours away and regularly drive up from PG to get away from the rain and to hear the sea. I take long weekends to get some online work done here and receive a therapeutic massage from the professional who works next door at Robert's Grove. It's VERY peaceful and private here. All one hears is the crashing of the waves. This pace is a hidden gem. These villas are outstanding for the price. I absolutely love these villas. (They are all outfitted exactly the same - with either a 1 or 2 bedroom layout. The full kitchen and living room are a big plus from my standpoint.) There is always a little something that isn't right - this time the TV cable didn't work because the cable box was broken. The floor could have been a swept/mopped better. But overall, I would highly recommend the villas - especially #29 which I stayed in most recently. When the owner indicates it's steps from the beach - that is correct. One steps off the porch ONTO the beach. No - to - little seaweed in September. The seaweed can be a big issue here from May into September. Those months one can't swim in the sea when the seaweed rolls in. But that's anywhere in the Caribbean these days and the villas has a pool.

A little slice of paradise

Clean apartment right on the beach. check Coconut palms cascading over vivid blue water. check Great restaurant a short beach walk away. check This place exceded our expectations in almost all regards. Granted, my expectations were tentative because it's hard to know what your getting from a few photos. So here's the rest of what you might want to know. This place is a little bit north of the airport in Placencia, but not close enough to walk. You'll need to rent a car. A golf cart might do, but I think the trip to the town would be a bit far for that. It's about 7 mins by car. The bed is super comfortable and large enough for me and 2 teenaged kids. Linens were clean and comfy too. Next, I thought the kitchen and bath were perfectly fine, the bathroom tile is a very pretty and the kitchen is sparce but adequet - I bought a new non-stick pan and left it (you're welcome). But you need to manage expectations here. These are vintage (probably 80's) decor. *Hands down the best part of this place is the beach. The beach is partially shaded with coconut palms and the water is probably about 10 yards or so from the porch! Lounge chairs are set out along the beach and by the pool for you to use. If you're lucky, you might stop someone climbing a coconut tree. Don't be shy, ask to buy one and sip fresh coconut water on the beach :) For a great meal you don't have to cook, venture south about 3 apartment groups down to find an upscale all-inclusive resort with similar accomodations for exponetially higher cost. They are happy to welcome outside guests at their restaurant though. We had an excellent meal for relatively cheap. We also ate at the Turtle Inn, but this place was better.

Really lucked out with this place

Condo #29 Placencia Looking for a place at the beach I lucked out & got this lovely condo. One morning a nice lady was walking by and told me that I just beat her to the punch renting when I did. She said she has stayed in this unit a few times and it's her favorite. When I asked why she said most things are in working condition in this unit. I must agree we did not have any issues with any of the appliances, plumbing, etc... It was extremely clean inside, and the view of the sea is amazing. The front of the property is nicely maintained. The AC for the most part worked but when asked if they could check the freon as 1 unit was not cooling as much as when we arrived, I was told someone would check but never got a follow-up. The place had everything you need for a nice stay except a washer/dryer. What I found interesting is they provide you with an iron/board but no washer. One of the guests told me I can ask the housekeeper to do laundry which is cheaper than having it done in the village. However, this information was not included in the welcome book. There is nice closet/storage, the king-sized bed is uber comfortable, and the shower/sinks had good pressure. Because we stayed 2 weeks, I had to ask how to get clean sheets and towels as well as provide more toilet paper/paper towels to which I was told they only give the initial paper products so if you are staying a while be prepared to purchase these items. The housekeeper brought sheets and towels the following day but did not offer to change the sheets. None of these were mentioned in the welcome book. My son and I had great times in the private pool and met lots of nice people lounging. There is a long pier with a bar hut where many nights locals would come to jump and swim in the sea. My largest complaint is the maintenance of the beach. The weeds are so overgrown that the trash never really gets cleaned up. You must walk through tons of weeds and garbage to get in and out of the sea. The trees are also overgrown with dead palms. Since the owners are selling the property it's obvious, they don't want to invest in a company to clean it up. Fortunately, the property next door (Robert's Grove) keeps their beach clean and since all beaches are open to the public you can get into the sea from there. Robert's Grove also has an amazing restaurant, don't miss the ginger mojito! All in all, I would rent this condo again because of the nice amount of space, the price was reasonable & it's a good location – 15 minutes by golf cart to the village.

This spot is absolutely PERFECT!

I highly recommend the condos at Beachside Villas. They have everything you could possibly need. The property is constantly being upgraded and the plants are well cared for. There must be more types of plants here than any place we have stayed...in all different stages of life. The staff is attentive to any needs you may have. Jesus, who manages the property, really goes the extra mile and leads his team with a very keen attention to details. This spot's location and affordable price put it at the very top of the list for me and my family. We would live here if we could! Thank you to all those at Beachside Villas for your hard work. It shows and is appreciated.
