West Coast inspired home. Large open floor plan, ensures plenty of space for all guests.
Peacefully surrounded by wildlife, located a short walk to surfing, fishing, beaches, parks+trails! Open concept home features vaulted ceilings, log beams, wood burning fireplace, private 2 acre lot at the end of a quiet no-through road. Main level w/3 beds+1 bath. Loft style master bedroom w/en suite with a Futon double bed option. And second futon in living room nook for additional guests.
Back deck hot tub to star gaze while listening to the roar of the ocean below. We allow pets depending on the size and breed, we have a Pet Fee of $80 per pet, per stay.

Cozy Cabin

We enjoyed our 4 night stay over the Christmas holiday. The house easily accommodated the seven of us. The kitchen is well stocked with all the cooking equipment a large party would need. We managed to do some beach walks at Sombrio and China Beach in between rain showers. Would definitely stay again.

Great weekend getaway!

My family and friends have stayed at this property three times thus far—a stunning cabin in the woods. If you want to get away for the weekend, we highly recommend it. We had a storm during our last stay. The host was terrific. They had emergency supplies and were in contact to ensure we were safe and could get home safely. Above and beyond!!!

Cozy but large house in the woods

We had a wonderful stay in this house. We enjoyed it in rain and sun. Well equipped with 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms. In addition a hot tub in the garden.

Family vacation

We chose this place for our annual family vacation. It was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. When a minor issue arose, it was fixed promptly. I would highly recommend it.

Siblings weekend

The cottage exceeded our expectations. It is tastefully appointed with every amenity one would need (even a rice cooker). The cabin is surrounded by lush trees so very private and serene. The hot tub under the stars was so relaxing. We also enjoyed the rugged trail to the water - a bit challenging but exciting! I would definitely recommend this amazing home to anyone wanting to explore the west coast of the island.

Beautiful property in Jordan River area

Very nice, private, quiet and secluded vacation home in a beautiful part of the Jordan River area with a very rugged trail down to essentially a private beach. Not possible to communicate with host via the app for some technical reason (specifically, to notify them of our departure), but this was not an issue as we encountered no significant problems during our stay. Would recommend.

Peaceful Location

This place is a great family destination with a lot of space and sleeping options. We liked the privacy of this location and having a hot tub was a win. There are some beautiful hikes and parks in the area, so no lack of things to do if you enjoy the outdoors.

This property offers a perfect blend of privacy and natural beauty, nestled in a forested area where you can hear the soothing sounds of the ocean in the distance. Perfect weekend getaway

I stayed here with a group of friends for a girls weekend and the property was absolutely perfect. The indoor and outdoor spaces were both excellent and very spacious. The kitchen was very well stocked. The location is ideal and the check in and out processes were straight forward. I would definitely recommend this property.

Absolutely Loved

This was the most amazing place to stay, the pictures do not do it justice. The property is surrounded by beautiful trees and the only thing you can hear are the birds singing. The house is amazing and the beds are comfortable. Lots of cool beaches nearby. Can’t wait to come back and stay longer next time.

Lovely weekend getaway

This was my second time at this spot. The first was with some friends for a relaxing birthday weekend, and I liked it so much that I brought my family and some family friends for a weekend getaway. Perfect distance from Victoria to feel like you’re getting out of town without having to plan for a bunch of extra travel time.

Perfect private family retreat

We loved our stay at this quiet and peaceful lodge in the woods! Perfect for our family getaway. We spent our days exploring nearby beaches and trails followed by evening soaks in the hot tub in the private and tranquil backyard. The house is spacious with a large kitchen for meal preparation and a comfortable living room with wood stove fireplace for relaxing evenings. Highly recommend!

March Birthdays Get Away

This is an extremely beautiful property. The inside was spacious with plenty of beds for all. Loved the loft area. Kitchen was well stocked with the necessary appliances, dishes, silverware, etc. Hot tub was a delight. The location of the property allowed various areas, directions, beaches, hiking trails, etc. to be explored by car, bike and foot. We enjoyed our stay.

Family Vacay

Our family of five stayed at this lovely cabin in the woods. It is exactly as described so no surprise you're not right next to the beach-it's too bad the walk down is not really doable, but it's literally a 3 minute drive. Positive: great layout, not on-top of each other, fire-pit, hot tub, and location to beaches. Negatives: dishwasher on the fritz (pretty important with a family of 5), kitchen:pots/pans/knives/appliances need an upgrade. If you're staying here one might suggest you like to cook as it's a drive to anywhere to eat, so having decent equipment is essential, plus I like to have wine in a real glass. Beds were comfortable, pillows not so much but that's to an individual's taste. Communication was great, and it really is a lovely setting if you want to be away from it all. We visited all the great local spots, so a wonderful location if you're up for hiking, exploring and seeing what this part of the island has to offer.

Great spot for a relaxing weekend with friends

Booked this stay for a small reunion of old friends. We spent our time exploring nearby beaches, relaxing in the hot tub and reading by the wood stove. Our pup enjoyed sniffing around the yard. However a late request to bring out the recycling the day of check-out did cause us some stress, as we didn't want to say no, but as people with mobility issues we had to — the driveway is quite long and there was a lot of recycling. In sum though, it was a lovely stay and we'd go back if we had the opportunity.

Family Getaway

The house and property were perfect for us. My partner and I and our two adult children and their spouses and one grandson (for fun) had a great time. The open space of the house was fun for us to feel together whether in the kitchen or living room. The furnishings were comfortable and the kitchen well-stocked. The back yard was awesome our little guy explored happily. Absolutely no complaints- a perfect outdoor vacation.

Girls get away. Coming back with family

We stayed at this cabin for a girls birthday weekend. Hiked a leg of the Juan de fuca trail, had dinner at point no point resort and came back to lounge in the hot tub. Quiet day in front of the fire, little hike down the trail to the beach steps from the home. The location is relaxing and private. The home is equipped with everything you need. There is a lovely landscaped yard in the back. My sister and I have already discussed bringing our families back. There are three bedrooms but six beds so abundance of room for the crew. Checkout was easy and the owner didn’t leave a laundry list of housekeeping that needed to be done before we departed just reasonable tidy behind us. Genuinely appreciated during our off season trip that we could check in a little early to clean up before our dinner out. Jordan River is lovely. If you like beach combing and hiking it’s a must do vacation. Thank-you so much for having us!

Great location, great house and very relaxing!

I would book again in a heartbeat! Cabin was beautiful with lots of room for everyone. Very beautiful and relaxing yard. Private location but very scenic 1/2 hour drive to many parks and beaches. Slept 8 adults very comfortably. Great communication from the owners and the people that look after the property.

We are a California family who has lived on the coast our whole lives. We have found a second home that we are willing to share on beautiful Vancouver Island in British Columbia. Still on the ocean but with the tranquil forest and lush trails we don't have in Southern California. We hope you enjoy this peaceful place as much as we do.
We have a local property manager Olivia that is near by for your peace of mind.

Our lodge home has it all. It combines rustic seclusion and tranquil privacy along with the wonderful comforts and amenities of a home built with great quality and attention to detail. There are no neighbors on either side. The house is bordered in the back by a flowing creek and the Juan de Fuca Straight to its West side. Star gazing in the backyard hot tub and warming yourself at the fire pit are all perfect ways to relax and enjoy nature.
There is immediate access to beaches and trails, world class surf, lush botanical forests and amazing views along the coastline.
