AH-F120, Casita Carolina is a Newly Remodeled Bottom Floor Condo, Shared Pool, Hot Tub

Book your next vacation at this newly remodeled nautical getaway first-floor condo which sits across the street from the shared pool, hot tub, and grilling area. Aransas Harbors is located close to downtown. The Civic Center, City marina, Roberts Point Park, restaurants, and a day spa are within walking distance, and the beach and Birding Center are both short drives away.
The condo has unique, original artwork throughout, depicting ocean and boat themes. The open living room has a Queen sofa/bed, recliner, accent chair, TV, cable, and Wi-Fi, great for relaxing and entertaining. Enjoy meals or a game of cards at the dining table for four. There are two stools at the bar for additional seating. Try out your cooking skills in the full kitchen with granite countertops, new stainless steel appliances, pots, pans, and utensils. Sip your morning coffee on the patio in the Gulf breeze. The guest bedroom (BR1) has a Queen bed, closet, and chest for your beach attire. The master bedroom (BR2) has a Queen bed, dresser, closet, nightstands, wall-mount TV, and an accent chair for curling up and reading a book. The shared bathroom has a combination tub/shower, double vanities, and a closet with a full-size washer and dryer. The bathroom can be accessed by both the hallway and the master bedroom. The unit is named for the former owner, my mother, and the eclectic mix of modern and antique furniture reflects her style.

Great Stay!

Overall the property was nice and comfortable for our stay. Easy to get to and from the beach and restaurants. Beds were comfy and I loved the patio and easy access to the pool.

Nice condo with great pool

We loved staying at this condo this summer, we will definitely be coming back. The kitchen had everything we needed for our stay and we loved the bedrooms and Wi-Fi! The pool was great for evening swims and close to downtown Port A and ferry.

Great for pups!

Perfect for what we needed- pet friendly and walkable to restaurants. Master bed is nice and firm, bathroom is spacious, and fridge/freezer is large! We will absolutely be back!

Perfect during the week and/or off season

It was close to the beach and a 15 minute drive from Mustang Island Park. It was awesome, convenient, and quiet, which is what I want. I can easily imagine that during peak travel times it might be different. The place feels like an apartment complex so with a lot of people around it might have a different vibe.

Excellent place! Refurbished recently. Bath tub/ shower fixtures lacking. Needs replacing with modern facilities with grab bars, tub and/or shower that is easy with non slip safe entry and exit. Plumbing fixtures for older adults including a shower wand and shower bench. Existing plumbing fixtures difficult to operate.

Okay but not Great

The Keurig coffee maker did not work nor did the bedroom TV. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils but only salt and pepper there, so if you plan to cook, bring everything you need. The air condition is really loud but works well. Check in was very smoothe as was check out procedure. Location is good but not close to the beach.

More than expected.

All was good except a few things. There was 6 kids and 4 or 5 adults upstairs which allowed for alot of floor noise. The freezer handle came off, I would have fixed it but didn't have an allen wrench. The ice maker didn't do much, but most don't. We would come back. I know you don't have much control of you actually stays in the condo. I'm sure those people were not honest when they applied to rent.

Great place but not clean

This is the second time we have stayed in this unit and this time we encountered a few things that did not make our stay a fun experience. During our stay there was water leaking from a light fixture in the bathroom which is very hazardous!! The master bedroom bed is not comfortable at all, and during our stay there was roaches and other bugs that had to be killed. Mold was also present in the shower and did not feel clean. When reaching out to the property manager they stated that a new cleaning service was being hired on but I was not compensated at all nor was informed that the water leak was going to be looked at. Totally different experience from our first stay unfortunately.

Loved the property! Very peaceful and close to everything. The only downfall is that the air conditioner was extremely loud every time it would turn on. Other than that I loved the property.

Nice remodeled condo a short drive to the beach.

The property was recently rebuilt after being destroyed by Hurricane Harvey in 2017 so its essentially new construction. We had stayed in the complex before the hurricane and its much nicer now. The property was very clean and the furniture is comfortable. I would try to stay here again if its available for our next trip.

Casita Carolina Home away from Home

Wonderful 5 days spent in Port Aransas. We loved the Condo. It was 2 bedroom but just my husband and I and our dog Oakley. It was comfortable. We were quite pleased with the amenities. The first day there a cold front blew in so we were able to enjoy the hot tub. The Location of the Condo was close to 2 of our favorite fishing spots. This we caught in excess of 32 fish! Every morning we drove a short distance to the beach to enjoy the sunrise at the South Jetty's. I highly recommend. It was absolutely beautiful and breath taking. Our final night we ventured out to Charlies Pasture and watched the Breath taking sunset. The condo it self was completely stocked. We cooked breakfast and dinner. I was able to wash our stinky fishing laundry and came home with clean clothes to unpack! We found a dog park a few blocks away that I was able to take Oakley to so he could run off leash. I enjoyed first night just chilling since the weather was bad and I did one of the puzzles that was in the condo. We have been traveling to Port Aransas for 30 years this was by far our best trip.

So so

The place is in a great location. It was across from the pool which was really nice. Also, we were able to park nearly right in front of the unit which made for easy unload of our stuff. It looks like the power had gone out at some point prior to us coming because every clock was blinking and wrong. There is something up with the electrical in this unit. Only 1 outlet in each bedroom worked. The kitchen outlets seem to all be tied to one gfci. Sometimes they worked and sometimes they didn’t. This was a pain and kind of concerning. The unit didn’t seem very clean. The couch has dog hair imbedded into the fabric, same with the bed sheets, and the bookshelves had quite the accumulation of dust. The a/c works fine but it is LOUD. We actually ended up having to adjust the temp so it wouldn’t kick on as much throughout the night because it was disruptive. I would stay in the condo property again but probably not this specific unit due to my experience.

Family Vacation

Right when we checked in and walked in the door we were thrilled with Casita Carolina! The location is close to EVERYthing in Port A and you can VERY conveniently just rent a golf cart from the managing company of the condo! It couldn't be easier! We loved our stay at the condo and didn't want to leave. It was very spacious, clean and well set-up. The managing company clearly takes very great care of the facility and of all of their guests. Our family loved the refreshing, clean pool and the of the safety the surroundings. Highly recommend!!!
