Perfect for a weekend getaway, or a relaxing setting for your business trip. Roomy studio with amazing views. Convenient to all locations in Eureka and Humboldt. Room for two adults for now, pet-friendly for up to two small critters! Kids can sleep on the floor or couch if needed. ***RECENTLY UPDATED!!! See latest pictures! We have had such a great response from our renters, thank you all for the valuable feedback! Humboldt County is a great place to explore beaches, hiking, fishing, golf... the list is endless. We look forward to meeting you!

This is a great place to stay while enjoying the National and State Redwood parks! There are also so many things to do in and around Eureka area! The Boathouse is so comfortable and cozy and Katie and Ollie are great hosts!

The best! Like staying with an old friend. This cottage for two was clean and well stocked. Great view with easy highway access. Host was onsight and available, but not intrusive. 10 of 10.

We chose the boathouse to have our small dog with us. But it was a bonus for us too. It is darling decorated in the nautical theme. Our host thought of so many things to make it homey. I wasn’t sure what to expect, like napkins, paper towels and tissues, so didn’t have to go to the market right away. We would rebook if we are going to the north coast. Sorry didn’t take pictures!

This was the perfect spot for my trip. Kate is warm and accommodating of anything that I needed. The kitchen was stocked with drinks and condiments and my favorite, coffee (also tea for those who might prefer that). The small patio was a wonderful spot to relax, rest and read.

Place is very good for a couple to stay for a few days. When you drive up there for the first time it looks like it is in a middle of nowhere but when you get there it looks amazing. City is small and it takes only 15-20 minutes to get anywhere.

Stunning Property

This place is a true hidden gem. The house was immaculate—spotless, beautifully decorated, and incredibly inviting. Kate welcomed us so warmly upon arrival that it immediately felt like home. After a long day of travel, it was exactly what we needed. As a thoughtful gesture, she even sent me home with some flowers. We would absolutely stay here again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others.

Cozy spot with everything you need!

We really enjoyed our stay at The Boathouse! It was just what we needed while spending the weekend in Eureka for a wedding. Comfortable bed, well-stocked, and the kitchen is a huge plus! Great views of the bay as well. Highly recommend this gem of a VRBO.

This is our second stay at this cottage. It's very quiet in location. Our host is a lovely lady and very accommodating. The cottage was clean and stocked with supplies to help if you forget something. There's a small kitchenette and nice bath with shower. The decor is beach appropriate and very stylish. I would highly recommend this cottage to a couple wanting timr away.

Enchantment

It has manageable limitations of space regarding entry and parking. It was a good location for us allowing easy connection to Eureka bike trail system. Modest in size and yet completely functional with comfort. An artistic beauty of furnishings with excellent quality of kitchen and overall amenities.

The Beach House

The beach house is in a quiet location with a beautiful view of the Humbolt Bay. The accommodations are clean, well kept and comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked and the host provides coffee, tea, waters, sodas and spices. It has the best kitchen of any place that I have stayed. The bathroom is spacious and the host provides all of the toiletries that one may need. The living space is very comfortable, full of natural light and beautiful views. This is the second time we have stayed here and it is the only place that I will stay in the future.
