Welcome to our cozy little HumBee Studio. Our rental is located in a ideal location for a visit to Eureka, we are walking distance from a variety of things. We live in a quiet neighborhood with lots of on street parking. There is two houses on the property, but the rental is separately fenced off and has privacy. You will be sure to get a good nights rest in our lovely king size tempur-pedic.

My dog and I really enjoyed our stay. It's a very spacious studio with enough yard for my old pal. Everything was clean and ready and the location was great for walking to anywhere I needed and a quiet neighborhood. Absolutely wonderful place to stay!

Our second stay at this lovely little cottage! The nicest, most perfect, coziest place we’ve stayed at with our two dogs. Quiet, clean, comfortable, safe! And wonderfully dog friendly with its fenced yard.

Chill spot in Eureka

We loved the stay. The studio was very clean and well stocked. It was nice being so close to downtown Eureka. I also liked how there were suggestions on places to eat and things to see.

A great Valentine’s Day stay

My wife came up to Eureka to attend a special Valentine’s Day event at Dick Taylor Chocolate. We chose the Hum Bee studio because it took dogs and it was close to old town. We ended up loving everything about the place. It was a great location close enough to walk to old town but far enough away to be very quiet. It was clean, neat, and quite cozy and the fenced in yard was perfect for our dog. I highly recommend this property.

The little house was so cute and it had everything we needed. It was a great stay. The neighborhood was a little run down but as soon as we got behind the locked gate and in the little house it was just perfect. It was actually larger than the photos showed. We will be back again.

Comfy and Secure

This "studio" is huge, with plenty of room for a couch, table, and chairs. A big plus for us is the secure yard (fence to the ground), which is essential when traveling with our small dog.

Nice hideaway in a quiet neighborhood

It’s basically one room and I imagine it started life as a garage. But I found it clean and comfortable and welcoming. I sure I hope I can stay here next time. I’ve stayed in other places in Eureka and they were kinda worn down by moisture and age. This place felt fresh. There’s a gas fireplace and a gas heater. The hot water is good. Lots of outlets (would be nice to add an outlet with USB port). From what I saw the dishes were nice. Hosts right next door and accessible.

Perfect in every way!

We LOVED this beautiful little cottage! And it was so nice to be able to travel with our Labradoodle & our Chihuahua…the cottage had absolutely everything we needed…and we loved the lovely private yard with the picnic table and gorgeous plants (biggest lemon tree EVER!) And we have NEVER stayed in a cleaner pet-friendly vacation rental…we so appreciated the clean and pristine condition! We will definitely return and will also recommend this place to our family and friends.

Cute cozy little spot for myself and 2 pups to relax in after a day at the beach and 4 hr drive. Flowers and plants are beautiful and make the space more inviting. The inside is spacious and well done. Loved it.

Just What You Need

Perfect set up for our trip. Good location. Beautiful grounds with trees and plants all over the property. We enjoyed trying to identify all the different plants. Clean and had everything you could need for a short or long stay. There was a board with multiple eatery suggestions in the area...definitely check out Los Bagels!

The owner obviously cares a lot

The place was very clean, very well equipped and supplied. The yard was perfect for our 2 smallish dogs and secured well. Our only complaint was one side of the bed was broken down.

Delightful, private cottage

Lovely cottage with its own entrance and an overall feeling of privacy. One room (plus bathroom), with a king bed and a sofa bed. Very quiet neighborhood, yet only a 5-minute drive or 20-minute walk to the waterfront and Old Town shops and restaurants. Pleasant outdoor space with a picnic table. Fully fenced yard, great for letting the dog roam outside. Owner responded quickly to a text when we had a question.

Dude where's my host

The property was nice and safe. Couldn't get a hold of host after an hour we called VRBO customer service the guy there couldn't reach host either so we were put up on hotel. I have a 17 year old who is severely autistic so we don't stay in motels. After being in room for 20 minutes the host finally called and we went to property and as i said it was clean. However the bed was not good when we went to bed we layed there and the bed sank lite a sleep#that the air is being let out as you lay took a few extra minutes to get out of bed. I won't stay at the property again..

Lovely little property

I had some trouble getting in at first because host had t unlocked it so the key code didn’t work, but she was right there and was very lovely. Owners lived right next door and someone was using loud machinery most of the day I was there. I couldn’t open my windows due to noise & I like fresh air. That as annoying - they should disclose that was going to happen. Also there is only lattice at the top of the gate right out the door, & the guy was right in the other side for a good share of the day - felt very invasive in terms of privacy. That was why 3 stars for location. Otherwise location was good. The studio itself was perfect for me and my dog. A small yard to run around in, very clean, comfortable, tastefully decorated. A. Wry large studio with a small kitchen, which you could cook a big meal in if necessary. Overall, I really liked it
