This place SMELLS!

Please do yourself a favor and do not stay here. My friend and I booked this place because it looked cute and seemed to be in a great location, but unfortunately it turned out to be a nightmare. As soon as we opened the door, there was a strong smell of animals and urine. As we walked further into the rental, the smell became stronger and in the back bedroom, it was unbearable. All the fans were on and there were cheap air fresheners all over the place, clearly trying to mask the smell. I immediately contacted the host to let her know of the smell and notified her that we could not stay here and would be getting a hotel. She refused to refund us for any of the stay (besides the cleaning fee). I understand not getting a full refund, as we had booked the rental, preventing anyone else from booking it during that time. However, due to the circumstances and the fact that we ended up spending even more to stay at a hotel for the entirety of our trip, it would have been the decent thing to do.

Delray Beach VRBO

The vrbo we rented was great for the price. It's in a great location to walk to Atlantic Ave and the beach. The grocery store is a short walk. The negatives are that it had a musty smell and the air conditioners are loud.

Great Location and Price for last minute need

This place was able to meet our last minute needs for a place to stay as our others fell through. I'll start off by saying the spot is in a great location in terms of walking to Atlantic Avenue and the bars and restaurants. The Fit Food Express across the street has great owners and Delicious food options. We met both owners as we paid multiple visits and they were very kind. Regarding the place, it is what it is. Nothing special. But it worked. There was a smell/odor upon entering the place. It wasn't the cleanest of places (definitely recommend a thorough clean) and the amenities are minimal. But again, for the location, the price and our last minute needs it served it's purpose. We also recommend better towels and bedsheets as they seemed rather used and cheap and smelled. The light above the dinner table needs replacement as well, I couldn't get it to turn on when I was trying to work from it.

cottage stay

For a property listed as accommodating 5 people, don't know why I had to pay an extra person fee for 4 people. I never heard of a Lodging fee before.

The place was exactly what we expected and it was very cute and comfy.

Everything was very close and the property is very close to the beach.

Mixed cottage

As we expected the cottage is small but we were glad to get a last minute delray rental. Highly recommend getting paper plates as there is very little space to dry dishes. For check in unfortunately they were still cleaning the rental when we went to check in despite the 4pm check in time. I think this is a new listing so perhaps this is a kink that will be worked out. The neighborhood is mixed. Easy walk to all the activity on Atlantic Ave and easy drive to beach and supermarkets nearby but there were some homeless folks nearby intermittently. We did utilize the living room fold down couches as our kids are young and not sharing rooms yet. There was some confusion about the extra linens for these but we were able to get the owner right away and get the promised linens. When we were there they had an umbrella, 2 beach chairs and 2 beach towels as basic beach amenities. We used the grill for dinner once. Overall experience was okay. Just know this is a small space. Will look elsewhere next time but was glad to have the rental for this visit.

If you are looking to relocate or just want to be closer to the action or the beach. This is a perfect place for you to relax or work using our Comcast business Wifi that is installed exclusively at the cottage. Great neighborhood quiet yet close to the action.
The apartment features double bed in the master bedroom, full sized bunk beds in the second bedroom and a convertible couch that turns into either two beds, double and single or a queen size bed. Full kitchen and dining area, 50" smart TV and a private bbq grill with outside sitting area.
