Cozy cottage with fireplace, close to North Conway and all winter activities!

North Conway was voted the #1 Ski Town in America for the second year in a row, and it is just a mile from our cozy cottage!

Cranmore Ski Resort in less than a mile away and there are lots of XC trails and winter hiking within minutes. Plus there is a community sledding hill within walking distance. This the perfect basecamp for all of your favorite winter activities!

After your busy & fun day, you can get warm & cozy in front the wood burning fireplace and play games together in the large family room.

This sweet cottage has a large, open living room with hardwood floors, fireplace, kitchen (with a brand new stove!), dining area, full bathroom with bathtub and sunny family room stocked with lots of puzzles and games. Two bedrooms with new beds. One has a Queen bed and a half bathroom; the other also has a Queen bed. There's an additional little alcove room with a bunk bed.

This is our fourth (possibly fifth?) stay and we keep coming back because it’s the absolute perfect winter getaway. The house is cozy, clean, and has a great layout. The host goes out of her way to make you comfortable - she has great recommendations about things to do, responds quickly, and will even stop by if you need something. Lots of kitchen stuff if you like to cook! It’s close to skiing, sledding, and great places to eat out - what else could you want?!

Love this cozy rustic house. Host is very responsive and accommodating. This was our 6th time back and will continue to return. Convenient to shops restaurants and many activities fireplace adds to the coziness of this home.

This is an older property, but it was cozy, the beds were comfortable, and the house was well equipped, from the kitchen to the bathroom, and plenty of dry firewood for making fires. We've stayed at several vacation homes through VRBO and this was by far the best equipped. Our hosts were communicative and got back to us quickly when we had a question or needed something. The location was ideal for hiking in the White Mountains and there were several excellent restaurants and outdoor recreation shops nearby. We would stay here again.

This cottage was just a perfect place for us during our New England fall visit! From the kitchen supplies to the linens, it had everything we needed. Most of our breakfast and dinner meals were made at the cottage. After a full day of touring around New Hampshire, it was so relaxing to come back to the cottage and relax by the fire while dinner was cooking (mostly in the crockpot)! Most important was the comfortable beds which provided us with a good night sleep. The backyard surrounded by a forest full of beautiful yellow and orange fall leaves was also a place of relaxation when we returned from our day trips.Nancy was so easy to communicate with and answered any questions that we had. I would highly recommend Nancy’s cottage to any visitors coming to this area. If we return to the Conway area, we won’t hesitate to stay here again.

This is our second stay here. Great location. Suited our needs. Only con (personal preference) is the bed is hard. And would like blinds on the windows for darkening. Would stay again.

Perfect Location

Story Land was the primary destination during our stay, and the cottage made travelling there quick and easy. It was also a breeze going to Schouler Park by way of back roads. The typical traffic congestion on the main road had no impact on us during our stay. The cottage itself is super clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything needed for the night we cooked in. We never felt cramped, especially with the large playroom towards the rear of the cottage. We won't hesitate to book again.

We had a wonderful stay. We found the house clean and inviting when we first arrived complete with a welcome basket. The house was close to so many locations yet still felt quiet and nestled in the woods. there was ample room for our family of six and the playroom was a huge hit so much, In fact the day we got home, we found a foosball table on marketplace and went and picked it up. It did get a bit warm, but there were a lot of fans available in the house. The only thing that I would like to see for our next stay is a curtain on the living room door at night. It just feels like you can see into the hall with the bedrooms. Overall, a great find.

Coziest winter getaway! Amazing host!

This was our second stay at Nancy’s and it was just as perfect as the first. She’s an extremely communicative and thoughtful host - leaves a welcome basket with snacks, always gives us suggestions for activities that are age appropriate for our daughter, and responds to any and all questions promptly. It’s the perfect family getaway. Whether you want to ski, sled, go out to eat, shop, or just lounge in PJs (the house is so cozy and well maintained), this is absolutely the spot. We will be back next year.

Location!

This is our second time in the house. The location is great and there is a fantastic sledding place a minute walk away. The house is equipped with everything and my kids really love the game room. The house is cozy and checks all the boxes for us.

Perfect winter getaway

My family and I had a wonderful time in this cozy home situated close to quaint North Conway. Our host was very responsive and made our stay personalized, even ordering up some snow for our grandson. Highly recommended, thank you Nancy.

Coziest cottage

Couldn’t have been more fortunate to stumble upon the listing for Nancy’s cozy cottage. The house was clean and comfortable and located on a nice street. We were greeted with a welcome basket of goodies and a handwritten note from Nancy, which I found to be a really nice and thoughtful touch. The wood burning fireplace was our favorite feature of the cottage and plenty of wood was provided. North Conway was the perfect location for all of our fall foliage excursions and hiking adventures. Where Nancy really stood apart as a property manager was when our flight back to Florida got canceled due to Hurricane Milton heading straight for our home. Nancy was incredibly accommodating and allowed us to stay for an extra night in the cottage while waiting for our rebooked flight. She stayed available via text the entire stay and was very responsive. I truly never wanted to leave North Conway and the cozy cottage and can’t wait to return.

Perfect home away from home

I can't recommend Stolen Cabin enough. It was absolutely spotless when we checked in and we immediately felt comfortable and at home. We didn't use the game room at all, but if you have kids it seems perfect. The shower was great -- hot water and good water pressure. The fridge and freezer are large and can accomodate a lot of groceries. Checking in and out were really easy. The TVs have Netflix, Prime and Disney + on them. The house is perfectly located from downtown North Conway -- a mere 5 minute ride if that, and within 30 minutes to Mount Washington and Attitash. The Flume Gorge and Lost River were about an hour or so and Story Land and outlet shopping are within 15 minutes. By the time we had to leave we felt like we had stayed at our own cabin rather than someone elses. We plan on visting North Conway again next year and will make it a point to contact Nancy about Stolen Cabin.

Great, peaceful spot in a fun home for families

We really enjoyed our weekend at the cabin. It was fully outfitted with games and toys which made traveling with our young child way easier. We really enjoyed the fireplace and firepit outside. This property is located close to the action of North Conway but feels really peaceful. We’d love to come stay again, for longer!

We have lived in this area for over 30 years and we can't imagine being anywhere else. You'll often find our family of six (4 boys) playing out in the snow whether it is skiing or sledding, and in the warmer months, we'll be out hiking, on our mountain or road bikes or playing at StoryLand. We consider ourselves so lucky to live here and we are so delighted that you are considering a getaway to this beautiful place.
