Lovely cabin on 136acre, 13 Miles from North Asheville. 6 miles from BR Parkway

Lovely 1970’s hand built log house only 18 min (13 Miles) from Asheville. The drive into home is very easy and open, not like many rentals in the area. Cabin is snuggled between three mountains on 136 acres of Farm Land and Forest. Note this a working farm. We rent the house vacation rental (some of the year) to continue to keep the original farm and keep in good shape for the future. We also have listing 485621. Check out life in a quite farm setting. Away from the crazy of the city. There are open fields around the house and a creek just bank in front of cabin.

Loved staying here! It's so peaceful and relaxing, a great place to retreat to after activities during the day! The pictures honestly do not do it justice, it is immaculately clean and makes you feel like home when you walk in. Hope to get to stay here again during future travels!

My wife and I had an amazing time!! The property is so beautiful and we watched the bunnies hop around. The kitchen is spacious so you can cook and move around. The whole trip was amazing

Beautiful Property

We stayed at this beautiful house right after Thanksgiving, and it was so nice and cozy, we almost didn't want to go out and do anything! It was decorated so prettily for Christmas, too. The kitchen was amazingly well stocked and everything worked well. The fireplace in the living room was so nice to turn on after coming in from the chilly outdoors! On our last morning there, we woke up to a beautiful, fresh snowfall with snowflakes still in the air, and it just felt like the crowning touch on a magical time.

Holiday getaway

Very clean, very comfortable cabin! Felt like home as soon as we walked in, and the Christmas decorations were icing on the cake! Also enjoyed watching the baby calf running around. Very nice of Rodney to stop by to introduce himself and see if we needed anythin.

Peace and Quiet

The cabin was very clean and cozy. The area is wonderful, from the beautiful views to the great cows in the field. This was a perfect location to get away and relax for a week. The host was very nice and available for anything we might need. We hope we can get back to enjoy more time at this beautiful cabin.

Absolutely amazing cabin!

The cabin was super clean, spacious and very well maintained. The location is perfect and having friendly cows next door and birds showing up on the porch all day was just wonderful. Rodney was a great host who reached out during my stay to be sure everything was going great. I really appreciated that. I will definitely be bookikg this cabin again. Such a wonderful getaway!

Upon our arrival, we did meet the owner who was very friendly and informative on the property and surrounding areas, we got some great ideas where to ride our bike! Places to dine, and thing to see!, we highly recommend the stay here.

Perfect place!

This is a great place, had all the amenities we were looking for and the cabin is in a beautiful setting. Very convenient - we were close to Asheville, but really enjoyed the peace and quiet that this cabin offered. Our host was very helpful and we look forward to coming back here again in the future!

Quiet Cabin Retreat

Lovely!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the cabin! The home was clean, comfortable, and exactly as advertised. Had all the essentials and I’m sure if anything else was needed the host would have helped. It was easy to find and convenient enough to Asheville. The home is on a quiet road which is mostly occupied by Rodney’s extensive family, which made me feel pretty safe, but secluded enough to feel free. The hammock on the porch was my favorite spot by far! I loved swinging away with my morning coffee looking at the mountain in the distance. I’d recommend it to any single person, couple, or small family going to the area. Looking forward to staying again on my next trip to Asheville!

Relaxing Retreat

This is the perfect place to relax and recharge. The cabin is rustic with modern necessities! We loved fresh eggs for breakfast and a great place to enjoy coffee surrounded by nature!

Perfect Respite

My friend flew down from Boston and I drove up from Atlanta to spend catch-up time together. We were overjoyed with the cabin, the farm setting, the view from the porch and the hospitality of our host. We kept saying we had made a perfect choice. The very best part, though, was sitting, talking, eating breakfast and dinner and watching the hummingbirds every day from our perch (rocking chairs) on the lovely porch. We couldn’t have asked for a more comfortable and leisurely respite from our city living. We are both grateful.

Peaceful, easy feeling

This cabin in the country delivered just the peaceful, worry-free place we were looking for. It was incredibly clean and well stocked. It was also super easy to find and had easy access. The photos and descriptions online are current. The front porch is the place to be. We spent hours there watching and listening to dozens of different kinds of birds, plus cows, chickens and some woodland critters, too. The property is well-maintained and just beautiful – rolling hills, a creek out front and a view of the surrounding mountains. If you need to escape the daily stressors for a while, I highly recommend a stay at this lovely cabin.
