Enjoy the wood burning stove, amble sunlight as well as lush outdoor space with a fire pit and gas grill. This waterfront cabin offers a perfect place to relax by the water or by the fire.
Steps to the Big Ivy Community Center with a playground, seasonal pool, volleyball, basketball and baseball.

Good chance of seeing deer and turkey behind the cabin.

Great location and stunning fireworks display from the town for our July 4th stay. Hiking, Asheville, and other nearby towns were all easily accessible. The views were fantastic and host was very responsive and kind.

Great little cabin on a pond with gorgeous mountains all around. The neighbors across the pond and behind the house are quiet and it was a very peaceful setting. The cabin was very clean, the bathroom towels were great quality, and the kitchen was well appointed with coffee, Keurig machine, tea, appliances, cookware, dishes, and utensils. Everything we used was in good working order, the water pressure is great, and there is a water filter in the kitchen. The host provided clear check-in and check-out instructions, and reached out to us right before our trip and again during our stay to make sure everything was ok and we had what we needed. We had a wonderful time and I highly recommend staying here!

Cabin was very clean, while the hosts were on property they did not make us feel on display or like we were intruding on their home. Very pretty setting and peaceful.

Beautiful little cabin. Well stocked with everything we needed. Close to many things. Communication with the owner was fantastic. We enjoyed the pond and the quiet country. Would highly recommend. Hope to visit again in the future!

My family and I had the absolute best time! This is a beautiful little cabin in a quiet area. Easily accessible and close to Weaverville, NC which offers a beautiful main st with all the southern mountain charm you could ask for. Make sure to try Twisted Laurel if you head over it is delicious and the patio is pet friendly! We brought 2 teenages and 2 small pups and they had the time of their lives. The homes is very well maintained and we loved opening the windows to enjoy the mid 60's at night in August! There is a family of ducks who wander at night and seeing lightining bugs tickled us all. Thank you to the host for making their space available we will be back! Only thing I would suggest is if you are big cookers like we are bring a little fan for the kitchen it doesnt get as much air flow but it is super well stocked with everything you could need (air fryer basket, slow cooker, griddle, plethora of pots and pans).

We so enjoyed our time at the property! It was beautiful and peaceful, and we had everything we needed. Even in a hurricane, we had a blast. Excellent property and we look forward to staying there again!

Our stay

My husband and I absolutely loved the cabin. The view at night as well as during the day was breathtaking. Due to staying on the 4th of July weekend, we had the awesome experience of viewing fireworks all around us. We loved it! Definitely going to return.

Stay near Asheville

This was a gorgeous location, close to but not in Asheville. Small place, but adequate for our needs. Clean, well appointed, and the owner was very responsive. Evenings on the porch were sublime. We would stay again!

AMAZING VIEW

This cabin has the best view right in the back yard! I absolutely loved the scenery. At night with the fire pit, pretty lights, and views of the stars is one of my favorite memories from the cabin.

Fabulous serene equipped w absolutely. Kim is Terrific, EVERYTHING you would need is already there!

I cannot talk this place up enough. Kim, the landlord is Johnny on the spot if you need anything. However, the cabin has everything crockpot, electric skillet, wok, plenty of Tupperware, mixer, cheese grater—in the kitchen great knives, just fantastic.

Perfect retreat in the mountains.

This property is exactly as advertised. Cute cabin on a fishing pond, my daughter had a blast pulling out sunfish all day. Very quiet area and still close proximity to Asheville, shopping, hiking, ziplines, breweries. Best of both worlds! Saw a hot air balloon going through the valley one morning and then got 4th of July Fireworks at night, lots of wildlife to boot. Overall special experience. The host is extremely responsive to any questions.

Ahhhh....so peaceful 😌

Enjoyed the peace and quiet. My husband and I enjoyed being so close to the pond and being able to fish whenever we wanted. My family and I enjoyed watching the dragonflies and the butterflies flying near the edge of the pond. Beautiful! Cozy house. Very small but sufficient. No doors on the bedrooms, just curtains. I made our meals while we were there and had to adapt a bit when using the kitchen. No plates that I could see. Glad I thought to grab paper plates last minute or we would have had to eat out of the pans. No food wrap, tin foil or plastic wrap at all. But we made it! We just found other solutions! Loved the cute little stove! Very nice, calm, relaxing, couple of days. Didn't have to contact the owner at all as everything was explained well in the emails and we had no problems. Easy to find and checking in was a breeze. Glad we were able to book it on a short notice. Really enjoyed our stay! Thank you for sharing your home!

Perfect place to unplug!

This was a bit of a girls trip for my daughter & I. I wasn't prepared for how far out in the country we would be but it was absolutely beautiful. The setup was beyond my expectations and Kim was very attentive and understanding. She even adjusted our stay after our flight got canceled. Rest assured we will be back!

Absolutely great cabin ! Very clean , had filtered water and the pantry was stuffed with all the equipment for cooking/ baking / cleaning . Lots of personal touches , made me feel at home . Also free wood for the burner , great location. All you need to unwind

Perfect romantic get away!

My boyfriend and I chose the spot because of the amazing views that this cabin offers. The scenery the mountains and the water right in front of the cabin is amazing I couldn’t have imagined spending in a more romantic spot! The view at night of the incredible stars was incredible! The cabin also had lights on it and it made it feel like it had a touch of Christmas as well! The fire pits made the cabin amazing! The perfect get away!
