Newly remodeled home with over 100' of lakefront and 75' private dock. Purchased in 2019 as our family home, and new to VRBO after extensive renovations. Perfect for a relaxing family vacation or a change of scenery when working from home! Enjoy the huge lakefront yard perfect for outdoor games. Kayaks, paddle boards, outdoor games, and fishing poles all free for your use. Great fishing and boating right from the house, or take a relaxing walk or bike ride in our quiet neighborhood. Community park within walking distance has playground, tennis, playing fields, and walking track. Located in Greenhurst NY just south of Bemus Point, our home is also a great base to explore the restaurants, shops, hiking, golfing, wineries, ski resorts, and other attractions of the Chautauqua region.

Built in 1904, our historic home blends original finishes with many updates. Comfortably accommodates up to 9 people with 4 bedrooms, plus 2 full and 2 half baths.

- Kitchen opens to deck with gas grill, dining table, and beautiful lake views
- Spacious dining room with large table that expands to seat up to 10 people

Beautiful, quiet property right on the lake.

Architecturally interesting older home that has been beautifully renovated. Quiet location, especially since it was after Labor Day, with lots of outdoor seating. Great place to stay!!

Lovely time

We spent three days and had a wonderful time. Everything you need was available, including fire wood and kayaks (which our 96 year old aunt took out!). What a chaming house, and a perfect location.

Wonderful house and location

The house was perfect for our girls getaway weekend. The kitchen was well stocked with dinnerware, pots, pans and basic spices. Great for staying in and cooking dinners on the grill! Loved the patio and fire pit. Great to sit and watch the boaters and wildlife!

Relax, recharge, and enjoy

This house is charming, well appointed, well maintained, and very clean. Everything to ensure a great stay is thought of by the owner. Kitchen is well stocked, nice variety of lake toys, fire pit with wood, and info provided on the area. We really enjoyed our stay. Also, the lake view from the house is gorgeous.

Great experience

We had a great experience staying here! The description of the home was exactly as stated and came with many wonderful amenities, both indoor and out. The location couldn't be beat with beautiful views of the lake and an easy drive to many restaurants, breweries and activities. The house was clean and the host was quick to respond when we inquired about a later check out. We would definitely love to return in the future!

Beautiful spot on the lake!

We very much enjoyed our stay in Patrick's home. The home has all the charm of a classic Chautauqua lake house with some renovations that provided a comfortable stay. Though the weather wasn't great for our week, we still found plenty to keep us busy! The kids enjoyed the swing and all the lake toys, and the adults enjoyed some great fishing from the dock and all the puzzles and games. We hope to visit again!

So comfortable & welcoming

This house is so lovely! Furnished & set up nicely with just about everything you need. Location is gorgeous & close to all the fun spots. Lots of games & books for all ages. The whole family enjoyed the kayaks, paddleboards & toys in the shed. Super comfortable bedding. Plenty of towels for our large group. All of our needs were anticipated. Relaxing Family Retreat

We recommend this property. The property was just as beautiful as the pictures showed. Just enough room to make ourselves and adult children very comfortable. The back yard and all the lake toys is were we spent the majority of our days. Our nights under the stars around the fire! Loved the home and beautiful updates! Would come back if we have the chance.

We had a wonderful time at Patrick's home, even though it rained all week.

This property is beautiful. The lake is clean and we enjoyed just looking at it( rained all week). My sons used the kayaks which they thoroughly enjoyed. The house is beautiful and there was enough room for everyone. The 4 bathrooms were especially nice to have. We would love to go back again. Patrick always responded quickly to me when I emailed him. I would highly recommended this vacation rental.

Sister’s 50th

Beautiful updated but still charmingly preserved home right on the lake with a large yard. Lots of living and dining space and ample bedrooms. The 100+ year old house has lots of quirky charm, beautiful floors and lots of light. All the important parts to update (baths/kitchen) have been modernized and nicely done. My siblings and I and spouses really enjoyed the house. Could have only asked for better weather!

Fantastic property

This is our second stay here. Fantastic, historic property in a great location on the lake. The owner is very responsive to any requests. He made sure the dock was available for our use during an early season fishing trip. This made boat access very easy. The kids caught fish right off the dock. There is ample space for multiple families and the house is well stocked with amenities. Quiet neighborhood and the firepit lakeside is awesome. We'll be back for sure.

A Hidden Gem

Our stay at Patrick’s house was top notch. The check in was easy and I immediately noticed how clean the place was. The house was charming and felt welcoming, with a beautiful view of the lake in a quiet neighborhood. It was easy to drive about 15 minutes to restaurants and grocery stores. We did some side trips to Erie and Panama rocks which took about an hour and 25 minutes , respectively. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this house for a family looking to explore western NY. Communication with Patrick was quick and straightforward.

Kindergarten friends getaway.

We loved the house and Bemus Point. Every year 6 of us go away in the fall….we’ve been friends for 68 years! We chose the area and house this year since it was close to our 55th class reunion in Western PA. The house was lovely and incredibly well equipped. We spent a day in Jamestown at the Comedy Museum and enjoyed that. The rest of our time was spent at or near the house…..it was too beautiful to leave! Thank you Patrick!!

Great getaway!

We visited in April for the Easter holiday. The house was as advertised. The updates are lovely and the home is very nice. It was still quite cold so we didn’t get to enjoy much time outside but we would love to come back in warmer weather because the lake looks beautiful and the location of the house is terrific. Suggestions we have are to add more comfortable seating around the house. We would have loved a few comfy chairs along the lake side of the house to sit in and read a book with a view. Thank you for sharing your lovely home!

Great Place!

My friends and I had a great time at this place! The house is beautiful and well kept. It was clean, filled with lovely furniture, and had everything we needed for a long weekend stay. Our host was very helpful and amazingly responsive to any questions I had. He gave us an earlier check in time as requested and responded quickly to a message I sent while we were there. The location is beautiful, right on the lake and there was plenty of outdoor seating, a terrific firepit and lots of wood! the house had everything we needed, from assorted dishes, pots and pans, a flashlight and two tables outside for meals! The linens were clean and comfortable, the towels, of which there were plenty, were very nice and the two half baths and two full baths were amazing! This rental is wonderful and well presented in the pictures on the website. Thank you very much!

Greenhurst Home

Our trip was wonderful! Large house plenty of room. Remodeling nicely done. Kitchen had everything we needed. Lots of outdoor space for patios and large yard. We frequently grilled outside. Kayaks and paddleboards are provided, and we loved using them. Lots of other lake toys in the shed! Great place to bring a boat. Excellent docking. Patrick very responsive to messages, phone calls and texts. Answered all our questions. We have stayed in multiple other homes on the lake, and this was by far the best. We had no issues with the house. We will book it again.

A lovely girls trip

The house was clean, cute, and had all the things we needed. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room for all of us. Something I didn’t see noted in the description but I often like to know ahead of time is most bedrooms do not have a TV in them. The 3rd floor bedroom with the twin beds is the only bedroom with a TV. The lake water did appear to have a toxic algal bloom so we chose to avoid those activities. Also worth noting we chose to take an Uber to some of the wineries but we had a very difficult time getting an Uber back from the wineries so would recommend having a DD if you plan to check out the wineries!
