Relaxing weekend stay

Our family had an amazing weekend at this lake house! It was the perfect getaway with so many activities. We loved fishing, swimming and boating. The house was awesome and had everything we needed. Will definitely be back the next time we're in the area.

We booked this h9me for a HS graduation family celebration. Very spacious living, kitchen, dining & deck areas. Bedrooms were spacious & beds super comfortable. Our family totally enjoyed our time & will return again. Highly Recommend this VRBO 100%. Will ( host) was very responsive, friendly & helpful.

Thanksgiving Family Getaway

This was a very clean property that delivered everything that was promised. It was a very peaceful, relaxing location and the accommodations were well-appointed and comfortable. We enjoyed fishing off the pier…caught and released quite a few bass. We liked it so much that we’re thinking about coming back this summer.

Wonderful waterfront house!

We had a great stay at this house. We’ve been coming to Ivanhoe since we were kids, so we were very excited to return and stay ON the lake! Great house, deck and pier! Kayaks and plenty of floats for some relaxing fun in the water.

Amazing getaway

Just what the family needed. Beautiful house that is full stocked with everything you would need. Beds are super comfy and cold A/C and hot water. The best part is sitting out on the deck and enjoying the lake view. I’m any activities for the kids to do as well. Will definitely be back.

Taylors Ivanhoe 2023 Visit

This was our second stay with Will at Virgil's place. There is something so peaceful and serene about this place, we all did not want to leave. I thank Will for sharing this place with us all. I had a chance to recharge my batteries some just enjoying the views, Kayaking, swimming/floating, perch fishing, family games and exploring the area on our golf cart. The place has everything you need to chill, relax, be comfortable and entertained if that's what you need.. We want to come back in the fall or winter if time permits and also definitely next summer. Thanks!

Excellent Holiday

Our family typically goes to Orange Beach for Thanksgiving, this year we were forced to try something different. What a great idea! Beautiful property, easy drive. This property will be our new normal and a regular meeting place for our family.

Above & Beyond!

We had the most peaceful and relaxing stay! The kids had a blast out on the water and didn’t want to come in each evening! Will, the host, went above and beyond to accommodate us as we had my MIL with us who has Alzheimer's We will be back sooner than later for sure!

I am a retired Navy veteran who purchased the lake house after being medically retired to spend more time with family on a beautiful lake. We have currently purchased an RV and are traveling the country and want people to enjoy our beautiful lake house. We have had some amazing times at the lake and would love to share the same experiences with other people!

It is the perfect getaway for anyone traveling through, having a vacation with the family or just wanting some quiet time away from the city. Especially if you love relaxing on the back deck by the water or fishing.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The back porch and the amazing view of the water is definitely the highlight of the property. Perfect for spending some alone time reading or family gatherings with a BBQ pit you can use. Don't let this take away from the large, open and very comfy inside of the house. If there is a rainy day, no worries we have you covered with video games, dart board, puzzles and plenty of board games. There is also a large television in the living room with Apple TV and multiple streaming services but with all of the other activities you might not need it! High speed Wifi is also available if you need to get any work done.

If you want to fish there will be multiple poles you can use along with a couple of kayaks and a paddle board. Fishing right off of the dock is always fun as well, where there's a table and chairs for relaxing or dinner right on the water.

We will be adding unique items people may enjoy looking at from my time in the military and my military working dog Cairo.
