Incredible views of the bay and surfers! Modern house(built 2014) with A/C, across the street from Kahalu’u Beach. This is the BEST snorkeling and surfing in Kona. Surfboards,The Kona Trolley stop, and food trucks are steps away. The house has a hot tub, 4 bedrooms, one upstairs, 3 downstairs, one with a private sink and vanity. There’s one full bath en-suite upstairs with toilet, tub and shower. There is a toilet downstairs with a private outdoor shower and there’s an open shower on the patio.

Amazing vacation home, exactly as pictured. As a multigenerational family group, the home and property was perfect. The location is great. I highly recommend the property. Dave and Chris (property manager and caretaker) were quick to respond to issues and correct to the satisfaction of all parties.

We had the BEST time staying here- the kids loved being able to walk across the street and go fishing. We had plenty of space to relax and loved the open floorplan. Definitely would stay again!

Perfect stay, great location!

My family (me, husband, 2 adult children, my mother) just completed our stay at this beautiful home. We miss it already! Location is fantastic and we loved snorkeling across the street. Plenty of room for all of us! Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Snorkeling Paradise Across the Street

Our stay at this VRBO was perfect! The home was very clean and had everything needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. The location property, adjacent to Kahalu'u Bay and great snorkeling, was ridiculously convenient. The host was clear with directions and house rules, and I'm confident would have responded if we needed anything, but we already had it all. We'd rent again and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a top-notch stay!

South Kona Gem

Our family has now stayed in south Kona on 6 separate occasions, always near Kahalu'u Beach Park, as we are addicted to snorkeling. This was our first stay at the self proclaimed, "Beachfront Paradise," and it was as advertised! For our family of 5 adults, and one adult sized 12 year-old it was perfect in every way. The upstairs patio and downstairs deck offer endless ocean views, the hot tub is delightful, and there was plenty of room. A short walk to the snorkeling beach. 4 spacious bedrooms, a wonderful outdoor shower, huge well appointed kitchen. We will return.

Lovely Location

Our grandkids loved the convenience of crossing the road and snorkeling. It kept them occupied. Also, the front yard was pleasant to sit in, especially in the morning while having coffee.

Sunshine & Sunsets

Absolutely loved the place. Backyard facing the ocean with amazing sunsets. Beach right across the street for snorkeling and surfing. 3 of the bedrooms face the ocean (master on 2nd floor has a nice balcony). Slept with windows open hearing waves crashing on the nearby shore. Nice to have access to beach toys, beach chairs, etc as well. Nice location on the coast with lots of fun activities a very short drive away. Same for groceries, local markets and farmers market. Really enjoyed our stay!

Great place for our girls’ trip celebrating our 50th birthdays. We were a little nervous about the bathroom situation with so many people but it worked out just fine and the outdoor shower is lovely. We will never get tired of the view.

Great location

Loved the location of this home! It was a great home to stay in with our family, the only thing is that the bedrooms didn’t have a twin bed like I thought. It was a pull out bed from the queen bed, wet l which was fine but distant l different than what was advertised. It would also have been great to gave a better umbrella for the beach. I would definitelyStay here again!

Perfect location. Perfect vacation rental.

The property is amazing located just across the street from a beach with snorkeling and surfing opportunities. Our extended family was ages 9 months to 70 years old. The property owner was very responsive and the house has EVERYTHING! From surf shoes, snorkeling gear to beach towels and children’s beach toys, not to mention outside showers (plural), hot tub, tiki torches and fire pit coffee table outside. Our family made so many memories here. We are coming back!

Magnificent property perfect for Hawaii gateway

We stayed with 6 adults and couple of young children. Its hard to tell who had the most fun. Everything about this property was perfect. Rooms are big and comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked. They have all the gears you would ever need for snorkeling and for beach. Location is convenient. And the sunsets are just the cherry on top. You will not be disappointed if you chose this place. Its well worth the price.

Beautiful Location!!!

There was a group of 10 of us at this property. It was absolutely gorgeous from the moment we walked in. Stunning view of Kahalu’u Beach. We spent a lot of time sitting in the backyard just relaxing, awesome sunsets and an overall good time. The place was extremely clean, well stocked with all the essentials like bath/beach towels, beach toys, snorkel gear etc. All beds were comfortable. Kitchen was clean with lots of room if you need to cook. The outdoor shower was a fav for many of us since it was so relaxing. The beach is literally across the street. Our group chose to snorkel almost every day, totally worth it! We also tried out surfing and that was also worth it. I highly recommend this place, most relaxing and adventurous vacation at the same time.

Perfect location for an active family who wants it all!

We were hesitant to book given there aren't a ton of reviews, but so happy we did. The location is PERFECT. Just far enough away from Kona where the drive is simple and pleasant, plus the free trolley is right across the street. The best snorkeling is right across the street and going every morning before we started the day was a great way kick-off our mornings! The house itself is fantastic - lots of space, lots of small amenities, the hot tub was fantastic. The room in the garage the AC doesn't work well, but the manager brought a portable one that worked great for our stay. Lots of rules but all the rules are just rules you use in your own home so completely reasonable (take our your garbage, clean-up after yourself, no parties/be mindful of neighbors, treat the home as your own basically). We would definitely be back!

Fantastic location

We were two families with infant to middle school aged kids and couldn’t have asked for a better place. The house was exactly as described! Morning coffee on the upper balcony while people were still sleeping, naps on the lanai and watching surfers mid afternoon, snorkeling and exploring the tide pools when we weren’t adventuring elsewhere. We all loved the outdoor shower and the hot tub! The kitchen was fantarcic for cooking meals and they had everything by! Even baby plates. We hope to come back to stay again because it was phenomenal. We saw whales breaching and turtles and even a monk seal on the beach across the street. Do be mindful of the strong current signs when up, we saw a couple swimmers have to be helped. We all had space , we’re not cramped, bathroom situation was not a problem. Super handy to have washer and dryer. Loved it. Highly recommend to families and couples alike.

Perfect Family Vacation Home

I recently stayed at this BEAUTIFUL property with my husband, our 5 kids (ages 12 and under) and my parents. The interior layout work well for our group and the outdoor living space is out of the world!!! The home was well furnished and the kitchen was equipped with all the essentials, and then some! The gorgeous views of Hawaii could be enjoyed from almost every window of this home, volcanoes on one side and ocean front views on the other. Snorkeling equipment, high quality bodyboards, a cooler, beach towels and sand toys galore are just a few of the amenities we enjoyed. It was a huge plus to not have to pack and/or purchase any of these items. We were initially concerned about there only being 2 bathrooms in the home but it ended up never being an issue. We enjoyed waking up to the glistening ocean each morning (Kona Coffee in hand) and watching the sunsets from the hot tub. This home is new to VRBO but do not let that dissuade you. Before booking I had found many 5 star reviews of this home on other rental sites and the home definitely lived up to all the hype! The owners are available when need and are not new to the property rental industry.

A perfect getaway

I spent my 50th birthday with my family here. It was the absolute perfect way to spend it! The house is amazing. The host was great to work with. The views are breathtaking. Having available beach equipment t and toys was great, not to mention only steps away to the beach and great snorkeling. Love this spot so much!

Amazing home for a family vacation

We stayed here with our two young children (3.5 yrs and 1.5 yrs) and parents for a week. The house is beautiful and met all of our needs. It is directly across from a black sand beach with excellent snorkeling. You also get amazing sunset views every evening. The master bedroom upstairs is very large and has a large walk-in closet (we actually had our youngest set up in a pack'n'play in the closet with ample space). David is very generous with all of the beach gear. Our family loved using the boogie boards, beach chairs, and sand toys.

Overall excellent experience for water lovers

This property is a fantastic getaway for enjoying indoor/outdoor living on the big island. Across the street from some of the best snorkeling in the state, it would be difficult to find a more ideally situated and beautiful house for a large group who loves the water. The only small issue we had is that the homeowner tells you that soap, detergent, and other consumables are a “starting supply” after you book — so for longer trips you might have to purchase supplies that you didn’t expect to need. Otherwise, a superb experience where even small issues are corrected immediately. Highly recommended.
