Island Point is a beautifully decorated waterfront, 3-story lake house vacation home with an elevator and amazing 270 degree open water views of the Colorado arm of Lake LBJ and Texas Hill Country. As you walk through the front door of Island Point, you are immediately greeted by a wall of windows with breathtaking lake views. Island Point is located in a gated, golf-course community.

Amenities Include:
Private pool, scenic 3-level outdoor living spaces, elevator with access to all floors, two kayaks, two paddle boards, access to a covered boat slip with electric lift steps away in the marina, Wi-Fi, DirectTV Stream with TV’s in all bedrooms, family room, and on the first floor pool level, fishing from the backyard or from the bulkhead sidewalk steps away, bicycles, ping-pong table, foosball table, yard games, fishing poles, books, and a variety of board games. A covered boat slip with a lift located steps away from Island Point is available if you would like to rent a boat or bring your own boat.

Guests have complete access to community amenity center which includes swimming pool, sand volleyball, pickle ball court, basketball court, bocce ball court, and tether ball.

Island Point Lake House is located on Lake Lyndon B. Johnson (LBJ) in Kingsland, Texas, which is 45 miles northwest of Austin in the Texas Hill Country. Island Point is located in Clearwater Harbor, a gated residential neighborhood nestled in The Legends on Lake LBJ, a waterfront golf community. When entering The Legends on Lake LBJ, Clearwater Harbor is the second gated community approximately 0.4 miles on the right.

Lake LBJ stretches for 21 miles and is the largest constant level lake in Texas, attracting visitors from all corners of Texas and around the country. Island Point is a stunning lake house (please read our amazing reviews!) and is the ideal location for a wide variety of lake fun and unforgettable memories: boating, jet skiing, wake boarding, wake surfing, tubing, water skiing, kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, and swimming. Several new restaurants have also recently opened in Kingsland that offer lake dining and entertainment.

Lake House Features:
• Sleeps 10, 4 Bedrooms (1 Sleep Number King Bed, 2 Queen Beds, 4 Twin Beds in Bunker Room, portable Pack-N-Play), 3 1/2 Baths, 2000+ square feet.
• Private pool can be heated for an extra energy charge (seasonal dependent, please inquire), second refrigerator near pool, patio lounge with outdoor TV, propane grill in outdoor kitchen, ping-pong table, foosball table, 2 kayaks, 2 paddle boards, 4 bicycles.
• Covered boat slip with electric lift included.
• Fishing from backyard or from bulkhead steps away. Marina is also steps away.
• Elevator access to all three floors, fully equipped kitchen, flat panel smart TV's in all bedrooms, Wi-Fi, DirectTV Stream, soft water system, RO water at kitchen sink.
• Second and third floor covered balconies with ceiling fans. Family games.
• 270 degrees lake views, Hill Country views, watch boats pass by from heated pool near waters edge.
• Breathtaking sunrises and sunsets are visible from all three levels of this modern coastal home.
• A covered boat slip with a lift located steps away from Island Point is available if you would like to rent a boat or bring your own boat.

Stayed here with long time friends and this was the Perfect getaway. As we get older we truly appreciate not having to move furniture and chairs to enjoy where we're wanting to visit, no matter where we were gathering we were covered. And the elevator was fantastic to have for luggage, groceries and us older ladies. The views were wonderful, rooms comfortable, plenty of space and extra welcoming touches made us feel pampered. I highly recommend staying here.

Family trip on Lake LBJ

My family & I rented this lakefront house to celebrate my 80th birthday. There were 7 adults & my 2 great grandchildren age 3 & 7. We can’t say enough about the house, its location & the amenities. The house is just as advertised. It was spotlessly clean & had everything we needed including an elevator. We rented the owners pontoon boat for a day for an extra fee & had a wonderful day on the lake. The communication with the couple who owns the house was excellent. They quickly answered our texts & no question was too small for them to respond to.
Tubing behind the boat was really fun & a first time experience for our 7 year old who went with her uncle

Beautiful house!

This house was gorgeous and the views were awesome! Very clean and organized. Lots of fun for the kids in the garage and by the pool. The elevator was a lifesaver! The hosts were very attentive and available for questions. Great experience! We will definitely be back!

Beautiful place! Lots of room! Something for all ages to enjoy! Hosts were the best we’ve ever had. They went out of their way to make sure our stay was perfect and made sure we had no questions. Absolutely Amazing!

The pictures are great but this place is even more beautiful in person. The views are breathtaking and the home is so well decorated and clean and equipped with everything you could possibly need. We loved the pool and game room and absolutely everything about this house. And then there are the owners..... they are so nice and helpful. Communication and all the special touches from them made the stay even more perfect. When I booked the place I truly couldn't believe they could have so many perfect reviews but now I get it. This place is a gem. We will definitely be back. Thanks for such a fabulous stay!

What a beautiful property and wonderful hospitality! We were down for the State golf tournament, and had a wonderful time. The property was beautiful and prestine. The hostess was helpful and so accommodating. We loved the house and would stay again in a heartbeat.

WrestleMania Cove

We stayed 3 nights at this amazing property with all the amenities one could ask for. Everyone was happy with the stay, including 5 kids and 4 adults. Kids swam and fished, adults did the same and enjoyed the festivities of WrestleMania Weekend. We plan on returning to this property for WrestleMania Cove 2: Electric Boogaloo

4 Generation Family Vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed the accommodations. Every comfort was provided. The view was extraordinary. The amenities were plentiful. The whole family had a wonderful vacation here! I'd watch out for the upstairs faucets though as they can shoot water past the sink if not very careful. Other than that, everything was absolutely perfect!

A great place to relax. 3 story house with elevator which was a must for me to rent. The house was everything advertised and more. The view was spectator. It was fantastic setting in the pool watching all of the water traffic going by. Also there was a pontoon boat to rent which we did. My teenage granddaughters loved the boat. Also what made this a great stay was the owners got in touch with us to go over everything arriving, during and departing which made the stay easy Overall we gave a 5 star+ Will probably be a repeat customer.

Great stay, beautiful home & fantastic host

We loved the condo for our family from grandparents down to toddlers! The location, right on the water, was terrific. We enjoyed the multitude of garage games & even ran a tournament. Kitchen was well stocked, condo was wet clean, beds were comfortable. The elevator is a great plus for those older in our group. Michelle was great on communication & a fabulous host.

Amazing Lakefront property 10 out of 10!!

We stayed in this house over the holiday weekend and had a perfect experience there! Being able to BBQ and hang out in the pool, while lakeside people watching was SO much fun! We went and ate at some great local restaurants and enjoyed boating around the lake. The house was immaculately clean and had plenty of room for our entire group. I can't wait to get to stay here again!!

Have been coming to the lake and renting VRBO’s for years. Would have to put this property and host in top 5 that we have rented. Other than weather first day everything was great. We are first time grandparents and had our 14 month old with us. Really appreciated the cookies and blow up toys Michelle gave us. Just a nice touch !

Wonderful Home With Great Amenities

This home is just beautiful. There are so many amenities, you could spend a week there and not use them all. From the great pool, to the kayaks and paddleboards to ping pong and other games, there is plenty to do. The home itself is decorated lovely and the kitchen is stocked with any appliance you might need. There is also an outdoor grilling area that is fantastic.

Fabulous Location & Stay

Highly recommend this location. We stay in this area anually but this was the first time we have stayed in this specific location. It is in the perfect spot on the lake & an absolutely beautiful home. The views were amazing from just about every room. It was very clean, well stocked, & the communication with the owners was great. They even left our kids Easter treats, which was above & beyond and very thoughtful. My only critique was that I would change the door to the bathroom in the bunkroom to a regular full door instead of a saloon door for privacy. The kids & adult who stayed in there were bothered by it. Besides that, we had no issues! The elevator was perfect for a guest with disabilities. I would highly recommend and we will definitely be back :) Thanks Chris & Michelle!

Beautiful!

This property had all the amenities our group of nine (ages 12 to 77!) needed for a fun and relaxing 3-day weekend at the lake! The house was clean, beautifully decorated, comfortable, and had the most spectacular views from all levels! On a warmer day, we enjoyed kayaking, fishing just off the property, and playing at the community pickle ball court. On a cooler, windy day, the garage games (including ping pong and foosball) were a bonus! The owners were friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome. We hope to stay again.

Book it again and again!

The house was spectacular and enjoyed by the whole family! So clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated including Fall touches. There were fresh roses, wine, and treats for the kids. The kids enjoyed the garage level game room for hours. We couldn’t have asked for a better weather weekend and had the pool heated since it got chilly in the overnight hours. Sunsets were amazing and we loved watching the boats go by. We also did lunch at Blue Bonnet Café in Marble Falls and the Exotic Resort Zoo tour afterwards one day which we can recommend for an off-season activity. Thanks to Chris and Michelle for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Perfect family vacay

Pristine home with decks and pool overlooking the lake. Home is well equipped and great for our family! Our toddler and one year old loved the little hidden closet off the closet off the bunk room. Owners were so available and flexible with us. Although we rented owners pontoon and returned it after 2 of our 8 hours, we recommend it! It was very rough and busy on the lake for Labor Day and wasn’t a good plan for the little ones. Location is a quick drive into town. Just perfect. Thank you Cris and Shelley!

Beautiful stay

This was a beautiful home with great views. The host was extremely hospitable, even had fresh flowers around the house. Communication was prompt and very helpful. We rented the host’s boat, and had the best time. The captain was friendly and knew a lot of knowledge about the area. My friends and I highly recommend this property.

Of all the things my family and I enjoy at Island Point, the one activity we love the most is relaxing in the heated pool while soaking in the truly spectacular views. "People pool watching" is fun to do as boats pass by with wake boarders and wake surfers enjoying the beautiful Texas Hill Country weather.
