Lutsen Forest Chalet - Minutes to Lutsen Ski Resort - EV Charger

Welcome! The Forest Chalet is a beautiful home tucked away on over 3.5 acres, affording guests a private getaway while being within easy driving distance to all the North Shore has to offer.

Location, Location, Location! The chalet is centrally located, with easy driving to many of the north shore's popular attractions. Nordic & Alpine skiing, wineries, hiking, golf and more:

Caribou Lake - 7 min drive
Superior National Golf Course - 9 min drive
North Shore Winery - 9 min drive
Lutsen Mountains Ski Resort - 14 min drive
Tofte: 15 minute drive
Grand Marais - 21 min drive

There are 3 bedrooms and 5 beds which can sleep 8 comfortably.

This is one of the few cabins on the northshore which is completely climate controlled. There are Mini-Split air conditioning and heating units in both living rooms and in all bedrooms. In additional, there is radiant heat running through all rooms.

Additional spaces include an open concept main living area with vaulted ceilings and a window wall with a gorgeous view, a sunroom, and a downstairs living room with a big screen tv, pool table and dart board. From here there is a sliding door walk-out to the outdoor firepit

The chalet has parking for 4-5 vehicles, WiFi, in-floor radiant heat in all rooms (zone controlled), air conditioning and comes with a rack of firewood.

No parties allowed!

There is an EV charger (NACS and J1772 compatible) for use at an additional fee.

Dogs (up to 2) are welcome for an additional fee

Great Ski Trip

The house was comfortable for two families of four, skiers and non-skiers. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen and the comfortable spaces for enjoying our long weekend get-a-way.

Nice Cabin!

We really enjoyed our second stay at this cabin. The cabin is very roomy and comfortable and in a great location. Communication with the host is always prompt. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful clean and quiet

We had a wonderful stay. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, utensils, dishes, spices, etc. It was quiet and secluded and we had a great time having coffee on the balcony and fires in the fire pit.

Location Location

Wonderful remote cabin in the woods. Pool table and darts gave us fun activities in the evenings. Very comfortable beds and well stocked kitchen. Plenty of living room areas so we could all spread out. Great location to activities but still feels like you're alone in the woods. We hope to come back again!

Girls weekend up north

We loved staying here - the house is really nice and location was perfect for hiking and Lutsen area activities. The colors were better than expected and we really enjoyed walking down the roads near the property. Beautiful area!

Peaceful family getaway!

Beautiful, secluded setting- we didn’t see another vehicle or pedestrian the entire week! Home is spacious and well-appointed. Madhu was highly responsive. Would love to stay again in the future!

Lutsen Chalet delivers!

This beautiful property housed our family for a week, and we loved every minute of it. From the moment we walked in, I almost cried it was so pretty. A bedroom AND a sparkling bathroom on every level - we had room to be together and to separate. The kitchen was lovely as was the bonus gathering room off the dining area. It was a delight to stay there, and we would highly recommend!!

The bedrooms were a bit smaller than it appeared in the pictures, but we made do. I booked a year in advance, so by the time we went we had an additional grandbaby and pack and play.It is quite a ways off the main roads on narrow gravel roads, so a bit tricky arriving after dark.The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, utensils, cookware and spices.Nice showers. My granddaughter enjoyed swimming in the deep tub on the main floor.

Great forest getaway!

We really loved the house! Lots of room! The location was perfect to ski lutsen. Loved the forest views and perfect serene location -no neighbors to be seen, easy to let the dogs out to play and not worry about them! We had a great time! Thank you!!

Awesome Cabin!

We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It’s spacious, well stocked and everything was comfortable. We really enjoyed the game room downstairs and all the comfy seating. The location of the cabin is great as well as nice and peaceful with no close neighbors. We would definitely love to stay here again! All communications with the host were positive and we were even allowed to check in a little early.

Beautiful place for a getaway!

This place was perfect for what we needed. We had a great time going on walks just down the road from the cabin, having toasty bonfires out back at night, star gazing, and having adventures on the hiking trails nearby. It was also really nice to have Grand Marais so close! Another huge win, my 8 year old twins didn't even notice the absence of their electronics while we stayed here! Highly recommend!

Lutsen ski trip

Great place to stay if you are skiing Lutsen Mountains. Driveway was a bit slick after a nice snowfall, so I recommend going in a 4 wheel drive vehicle. Plenty of space in the house, nice bathrooms and kitchen. Had fun playing pool and watching TV at night. Would rent again. Thanks!

A perfect hideaway

The house and property is really stunning! Walking into the house for the first time was breathtaking! Our family ages 14 -75 enjoyed cooking together in your well stocked kitchen, playing pool and sitting by the fire. We explored the north shore beaches and waterfall hikes! We also snowshoed! My dog most enjoyed sitting in the driveway looking out at the beautiful surroundings. We have all determined an annual trip is necessary! Thank you very much for you hospitality!

Beautiful spot in the woods by Lutsen

Beautiful and well maintained property. Very private but close to Lutsen mountain and hiking and cross country trails. Kitchen is well stocked for cooking. Would recommend AWD or 4 WD in the winter. Roads are well maintained but snow covered.

Fabulous Chalet in the Woods

This property was as presented or better. The many windows provided a great view of the woods and provided much light. The layout provided lots of gathering spaces with comfortable seating. It is well stocked for kitchen items (cooking ware and plates, utensils, mugs, wine glasses, spices etc) as well as wood for the fireplace and fire pit! Our neighborhood friend group of eight loved the time we had at the chalet!

Great house

We enjoyed our stay. The house was really nice with plenty of space for us all. The parts that are showing their age are being updated or replaced so it will be even better in the coming weeks. They even made sure we were plowed out early after a snow storm. Close to Lutsen Mountain and Grand Marias!

Perfect Family Getaway for Skiers and Non-skiers

It's been days since we checked out, and I'm still daydreaming about this place. Wonderful fireplace. The heated radiant floors were heaven on Earth. Well-appointed place—especially the kitchen. There was plenty of cookware, plates, cooking accessories, etc. Beautiful location to see the stars at night. Thank you for sharing your place. (PS If you're planning to sleep in the loft, bring summer PJs. Heat rises, it was nice and toasty up there!)

Great getaway
