Stunning home in the gated mountain community of Trailside with sweeping views of the Stuart mountain range, Peoh Point, and Mt. Daniels. This custom 3 bed/2 bath home boasts a comfortable and spacious great room with stone gas fireplace, WIFI, TV, outdoor firepit, and private hot tub! Explore 100s of miles of trails on adjacent USFS land. This home is the perfect location for a weekend getaway or family vacation!

This was our second time staying at the cabin and it was just as wonderful as the first time! Very clean and spacious, beautiful surroundings, a fantastic time for our whole family. The host is very responsive and the house had everything we needed during our stay.

Fantastic Christmas Getaway

We had an amazing time at the home! The size and layout was perfect for our family of 5 with young kids. The neighborhood felt safe and secluded, and there was plenty of snow to keep our kids busy. The home was very clean and cozy and was set with everything we needed for several days. It truly met or exceeded all of our expectations! We would certainly stay here again in the future.

Great fall getaway

We loved the view from this house, enjoying Mt Stuart from afar and then up close when we hiked to Lake Ingalls. The house is convenient to Cle Elum and many different hiking areas. The house and hot tub were great for after-hiking relaxation. Everything was clean and worked well. A great place to stay!

Great getaway spot, make sure your vehicle is winterized

Overall, I would recommend this place to people looking for a getaway close to the mountains. We only had a few minor issues that the owner is looking into/rectifying. Pros: 1. Spacious with a ton of natural lighting in living areas 2. Easy to use and effective fireplace 3. Big, modern bathrooms 4. Big semi-private backyard (i.e., no gate, but separate from neighbors) with hot tub, fire pit, and other play areas for kids 5. Good views of the mountains on clear days Cons: 1. Steep driveway - ensure your car is winterized if you are booking during snow season. The owner provides one shovel, some rock salt, and a plowing crew comes through if snow is >4". Because we came at the tail end of a moderate snow (2"-3") and it was raining, we had to shovel the driveway to ensure our car wouldn't get stuck on ice. Additionally the community's main roads were not plowed during our stay which could prove an issue for smaller, lighter cars. 2. Some issues with hot bath water in guest bath - the owner is looking into this situation and I would expect this to be resolved soon. Small garage doors. Having a two-car garage is a very nice amenity in the winter, but we were not able to pull in our Chevy Silverado into the garage due to the narrow doors. I assume a smaller car (i.e., sedan) would be fine.

Thanks for the review Robert and we are so glad you had a nice time while in the mountains! The weather can be hard to predict out here, but we have added an extra shovel for use as needed. I can also confirm the hot water is working correctly in the guest bath. We hope to see you next time! Nicole

Great for a Girlfriends Getaway

A lovely home with high ceilings, and an impressive fireplace situated on a hill with a stunning view. The kitchen is on the small side in comparison to the home but reasonably well equipped. The house was clean with the exception of some cobwebs on the high ceilings and the shower in the primary bedroom could use some extra scrubbing along the sides and corner grout line. We would definitely stay there again.

An Exceptional Retreat

Our family stay at the Trailside house was wonderful. We would wake up in the morning and see magnificent sun rises. The house is spacious and beautiful; it is very well stocked and taken care of by the gracious owner.

Beautiful home and views!

This house was AMAZING with a beautiful backyard and views! My friends and I were on a 2 week multi-bday celebratory trip and this was at the tail end. The hot tub was perfect! About an hours drive to Leavenworth, very cool little town. 11/10 would stay again! Only note, check all the links for the check in process before you potentially lose cell service so you can access the property correctly. Google maps will push you to a gate you cannot enter from. Not owners fault at all, I did not check ahead of time!

Nifty Fifty Celebration

This is my 2nd time renting this beautiful home. I rented this home to celebrate my 50th birthday with some amazing ladies! My party did yoga every morning on the patio; it was absolutely breath-taking to have the mountain range & alpine trees in our back yard. There are 2 hiking trails near the home that are easy to moderate. The hiking trails were great because we didn’t have to drive anywhere to explore. Contact the owner for the directions if you’re interested. The house is a very short walking distance to the swimming pool. The pool was sparkling clean and roomy for everyone. The pool was another amenity highlight. There was plenty of room for people to lounge in the living room, patio, and in the hot-tub. The outside dining table gathered everyone together for lunches and dinners. Beautiful memories were made over delicious meals, laughters, and conversations. The house was a fantastic retreat to celebrate my milestone birthday.
