The upper level of the villa has 2 bedrooms with 1 king bed and 2 single beds. Both bedrooms have airco and a ceiling fan. The ensuite bathroom has all the aminities you need. The full equiped kitchen and living room give out on a large porch with a sitting area where you can enjoy the most spectacular view while sipping on your coctail.
You have access to your private, no sharing pool, a whirlpool and a pool house with outdoor shower, sitting area and a bar.

The location was great and the rooms were perfect for our family. It was great having our own pool and access to the water. We also appreciated the communication by the owners and the caretakers of the property.

Pleasant Visit

Just returned from a great vacation to Belize. White Turtle was the best place to end our trip. The place was exactly as described and close to the village. We enjoyed the pool each day and loved the sunsets each night. The caretaker was very friendly and always responsive.

Absolutely fabulous property!

I have been coming to Belize for 20 years, Placencia specifically, and this is one of the best places I've ever seen. I can't wait to come back in August 🙂

Amazing Vacation Rental

Can’t say enough great things about this rental. The location is spectacular and right in Placencia town. Beds were super comfortable, and the outdoor living areas lived up to the photos in the listing. There is an on site care taker who is absolutely amazing and handled all of our transportation and excursions through his side company (Maya Adventures). I highly recommend using that company, and would definitely stay at this property again.

Ideal Lodging For A Low Key Escape

We had a great time in Placencia, and our stay at the White Turtle property was great. Ample space for our family of 4, strong wifi, clean kitchen, and wonderful pool by the lagoon. Our children loved it. Reuben the property manager and his family are wonderful. Super accommodating and responsive. Quite location had great views of the lagoon side, and easy walk to a grocery store and to the "sidewalk" district with some coffee and food shops. We had a rental car and drove a little further down for dinner or to visit some of the hotel resorts up north, and it was an easy drive from the Belize City Int Airport into Placencia.

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful time. The property is beautiful and exactly as described. The caretaker for the property was fantastic and helpful. Being able to be picked up at the dock on the property for our tours/snorkeling was great. Would definitely recommend White Turtle!

Much needed r&r

We enjoyed the much needed break from work and our busy life at home. We enjoyed the sun rises and sunsets. Pool, canoes and being walking distance from everything in the village. We enjoyed your caregivers Rubien and Rufina, and Luna the dog. Hope to book with you again soon.

Beautiful

Property and reviews are as advertised. Right on the lagoon with beautiful views! We enjoyed for our captain to drop us off and pick us up right off the back pier. Reuben was very helpful and has great local knowledge of any activities you may want to participate in.

Unforgettable Belize Vacation

This property was gorgeous and we could not have asked for a better place to stay during our time in Placencia. The walkability from the house to the village and restaurants was a wonderful bonus and the immaculate views of the water and sunsets was one of our favorite parts of the whole vacation. Reuben and his family were very helpful, easy to reach, and made us feel completely at home and at ease in a different country. My girlfriend and I have come to absolutely adore Belize and this property was a key reason for that. We can not wait to come back to Placencia and stay here again, the vacation was absolute perfection!

Reuben was a terrific host! Easy and affordable bike rental right on property. We wish there were two kayaks, as the owner had said. Instead there was an oversized inflatable double seater. The pool was lovely and the location to town was great!

Awesome Holiday!

This was our 2nd trip to Placencia and the first for our daughter. Highly recommend the villa, it is just as pictured and the space actually felt larger than it seemed on the pictures. FYIs- hosts will cook breakfast for you on request. It was sssoooo delicious and authentic! They also helped us with private tour at very affordable prices (lower than taking a tour with a group in our experience).- Hottub was not heated (unless we missed the memo). We still enjoyed it in December.- Walkable to the sidewalk, bars, restaurants- Walkable to grocery stores, but you may want transportation for larger hauls- You are on a lagoon, ALWAYS have repellent on...the no see ums were viscious and hungry.- The road to the villa is quite rough, you won't need a 4 wheel drive, but it does get quite muddy and messy after a rain in case you are walking. - Really close to the Hokey Pokey (if you know, you know!).Would definitely return the next time we are in Placencia!

Great house, great stay

The accomodation was even better than we Imagined from the description and photos. The accomodation is on the 1st floor. The ground floor is occupied by the housemanager and his family. You will not notice them during your stay unless you need something or advice from Reuben. We had seen on the photos that there is a pool but to our pleasant surprise it is much bigger than we thought. The pool and the whole deck surrounding it (including a comfortable loungeset., an outdoor walk-in shower, a bathroom, and a gas bbq) is solely yours to use during your stay despite it being on the ground floor. It gives.a sublime view of the lagoon and harbour and beautiful sunsets. The first floor itself has it's own huge balcony with a dining set and another loungeset. From here you maybe have an even better view than from the pooldeck. There's also a covered roofterrace with a bench from which I imagine you might even have a better view but we never used it. The 'house' itself is very well kept, modernly equipped with everything you need, including aircos throughout the house, dishwasher and for those who can't be bothered with beautiful weather, views, pool etc. there's even a flatscreen tv. The beds were very comfortable. The grounds are fenced so.safe for uou and your car. Not that I.otherwise would feel unsafe. It's an easy.5-10 minute stroll to a supermarket, atm, Buba Wubas bar and grill or the boardwalk including the most popular beachbars Tipsy Tuna and Barefoots.

Pictures do not do this place justice. The view of the water with the mountains in the background was gorgeous. The space was private, clean, and very accommodating. Sitting on the outdoor large and comfortable deck, with my morning coffee, watching the boaters and Mountain View all made for a perfect start to the day.Rueben and his lovely wife Rufina were very attentive to our every need. We will definitely be back!

Our stay at White Turtle was fantastic! The pool is even better in person (bigger) and at night time it lights up in different colours which was fun for the kid. Reuben, Rufina and his child live in the bottom half of the home and they were very helpful, professional and gave us our space. They have a beautiful and gentle dog, Luna. She is so sweet. It's very serene and quiet when hanging out by the pool. Boats do go by often but it's not disruptive at all. We have everything we needed in the house to cook meals, etc. And ladies, the hairdryer is a good one! We rented a golf cart but you can easily walk to the grocery store. There's a fruit/veggie stand at the end of the street as well. If I came back to Placencia, I would 100% stay here again. LOVED it.
