Only a mile away are cafés, restaurants, art galleries and boutiques. The Little cabin is a quaint mid century cabin with South Western flair and has all the amenities for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Warm up by the wood burning stove.. A truly enjoyable getaway for a romantic weekend or solo traveler! DOG friendly with a $25 pet fee 2🐶🐶 dog minimum.' NO CATS'

This was our fourth stay at the Little Cabin. As a couple with dogs, it is the perfect getaway for us. The Little Cabin has all the amenities we could need and a large fenced area for the dogs to play. It’s proximity to both hiking trails, neighborhood walks and downtown Idyllwild is ideal.

Thank you so much for an amazing stay at your cabin. It was cozy, clean and they outdid themselves on the attention to detail. They also left the most thoughtful gift of coffee mugs. Such a great touch! They were very responsive with any questions we had. We can’t wait until our next stay at The Little Cabin!

We had a great time at the little cabin. Great location close to popular trail heads and downtown. Very well maintained property with huge enclosed property great for dogs. Perfect for 2 plus a dog! Owner is very attentive and responsive. We’re very happy to have discovered this cabin and look forward to our next stay!

The little cabin is a gem, quiet and private. Beautifully appointed with fully equipped kitchen and a great shower. We lucked out and were able to pick apples off of one of several trees.

Perfect for the 2 of us and our pet Chihuahua. If you like lots of trees, birds, and squirrels with high bushy tails, this is the place to stay. Very close to downtown Idyllwild and also close to Taquitz Peak and Humber Park. Take a stroll on Ernie Maxwell Trail if you want an easy hike. We went halfway from the north end in one day and halfway from the south end on another day. We drank coffee from our Little Cabin coffee mugs every morning...nice gifts to take home!

Every thing was perfect on arrival, including check-in. I stayed here about a year and a half ago and was delighted to see all the improvements they have done since my last stay, not that anything was missing. A great place to take my dog and relax!

Just beautiful!

The Little Cabin is a wonderful place to unwind and enjoy nature. Our golden retrievers enjoyed it as well. We have already booked our next trip!

Rest and relaxation achieved

We had the BEST time! After a rather stressful few months at work I wanted to escape to the mountains and this was the perfect place to recharge. Lovely cabin, very clean, plenty of squirrels and birds to look at and listen to on the porch, cozy woodstove for chilly nights, we took walks every day and there’s lots of hiking trails! Walking to town is doable, just note there aren’t sidewalks but it’s a fun outing. Jeff and Barb were fantastic hosts, messaging us with current events in town if we wanted to attend, quick to respond to any questions. We will definitely be back and we’re going to bring our dog next time!

Private and cozy cabin

My husband and I and our lab spent two nights here. It was very comfortable and there is a peace that we felt the moment we got there. There are lots of trees and the squirrels and birds are very active. We truly felt we were surrounded by nature. The yard is huge and our lab loved running free and exploring. The cabin has everything you need for a great stay. Barb was a great host. She checked in and made sure we had everything and also made suggestions of music entertainment for the days we were there.

Hosts were fantastic and very proactive. The cabin was just as advertised. Really nice property in the trees. Had a very relaxing time and the town and locals in idyllwild are great. Very friendly licsls and good restaurants.

Fun tiny cabin

The cabin is small but everything we needed. It was clean and cutely decorated. The hosts were always available and helpful but not bothersome. We recommend you try it out, we’ll be back
