Quiet, laidback beach vacation

We had great beach access. The rooms were private and clean. Kitchen with adequate cooking utensils. Restaurants and stores are a quick car ride away. Would definitely stay here again.

Great beach

Beach was not crowded. Property itself was a little dated and the lazy river was not open the entire time. Vacasa does not communicate thru the Vrbo app and only via text or email. Questions not answered and many times it was just a robot you were talking with

Bahama sands

The unit we stayed in was great. However we called to get more toilet paper, paper towels and dish cloth and towels on Tuesday. I called again on Thursday and finally recived toilet paper and regular towels on Friday morning. Vacasa has let this building go down. The public bathrooms on P1 didn't have soap or toilet paper. We called and reported this also. I feel sure that the title "luxury " doesn't fit anymore.

We are sorry for any misunderstandings you experienced regarding the supplies provided in our home. We do provide starter packs of paper products and detergents, and anything required beyond what is provided is the responsibility of the guests. We normally do not replace towels during a stay. There is a washer/dryer in the condo for guests use to launder linens as well as their personal clothes. We apologize for the inconvenience and hope we can host you again!

Decent place, but needs some improvements.

We stayed at 1201 around new year eve and had a great time. The reason I am giving them 4 stars is just due to the lack of enough or working utensils. There was no grater in the kitchen and the can opener was dull and rusted. Other than that, there was nothing to complain about. I was worried about the elevators, particularly since I had read some negative reviews from past guests, but during our 5 days of stay all three elevators were fully operational and we never had to wait more than 30 seconds for one. The place is kind of old but is clean and well maintained. It is right by the brach and close to many shops and grocery stores. We’ll recommend to friends and consider for booking again.

Not very accommodating

Okay so there’s no actual check in. The office is in a kind of rinky-dink hotel across the street. Security doesn’t make you feel welcome when you first drive through, they’re just like “uhh Idk there’s no checkin or office, go check across the street”. Not accommodating...can’t checkin early At all and can’t checkout later not even by an hour. Checkout is 10AM which is at least an hour earlier Than all other places. The book in the room said checkout was at 11AM and then this blonde lady walks in at about 10:15-10:20 and says it’s checkout time and We told her what the book said and she says with an attitude “well that’s not supposed to be in here, we are gonna remove it” ok.... not our fault it was in the room. And then before even arriving on the website it says they give oceana passes to do all The free stuff but then all the reps were saying they don’t then the front desk said they did. Overall not well organized and not accommodating. Book far in advance so you have better places to stay at! Also 45 mins away from the free water park you get passes to. Oh and don’t let me forget the parking garage...it’s an accident waiting to happen. Room is nice though, so if you have no other option then it’s ok!

Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate early check-ins or late checkouts at this time because we are allowing our housekeeping staff ample time to clean and disinfect the homes in between guests. Good beachfront condo, but not great

Very spacious condo with great ocean angle view balconies! In general, the condo is nice, but shows it’s age all around. The building is average compared to other condos even though it is named “luxury” condominiums. Oddly enough, the smells were the worst part of the stay. There were an array of bad or weird odors in the different entryways, hallways, etc. And our condo had a strong odor of seafood, probably lingering from previous occupants cooking. Beds were comfortable, and we enjoyed the whirlpool tubs. Price was worth the accommodations, and I would book this condo again for a short stay if needed. Electronic entry into the condo was a nice way to check-in. However, we were confused upon arrival with the entry code into the building. Took us a while to figure out that the entry code provided by Vacasa only worked on the ground level and not other levels of the parking garage.

Beautiful as Always!

We've been staying at Bahama Sands since it was called The Atlantic Breeze if I'm not mistaken.. There's never been a single issue to speak of! It's more like an apartment building than it is a hotel, as there's no Front Desk or Room Service but everyone seems to respect the property and as stated we've never had a single issue.. The rooms are pretty much the same, only difference being 2 or 3 bedrooms and you can't go wrong with the views! Give North Myrtle a shot, you won't be disappointed..

Welcome your day with this Sunrise View

Comfy beds, big bathrooms (a little dated, but so am I), AMAZING VIEWS of the sunrise, over the beach, what more could you want for a vacation? The condo was very clean and had everything I needed during my stay. This is one of the most tranquil condos on the Grand Strand and it is conveniently located near great restaurants and Barefoot Crossing. I would stay here again and again.

The pool was enjoyed by everyone and even for those who wanted a midnight dip. Kitchen and bathroom well supplied. Pantry door was locked. No place to place dry goods.
