Property Information

The cabin sits on the back four acres of our 12-acre property, approximately 138 feet behind our home. It has its own private access road and is positioned to provide privacy for both guests and hosts.

Please Note:

Hunting is not permitted on the property.
As with any rural Hill Country property, wildlife such as deer, snakes, raccoons, and other native animals may be present. If exploring the property, please stay aware of your surroundings and use caution when driving at night.
While we regularly treat for pests, occasional bugs, spiders, or scorpions may still find their way indoors.
A security camera is located along the access road before reaching the cabin. It faces the road only and does not monitor the cabin or guest areas.

My husband, a proud Texan native, and I couldn't be more different in our journeys across the United States. While I've traversed from one coast to the other, fate led me to Texas on a whim and a dream. Little did I envision that amidst this vast state, I'd find not only my soulmate but also become the proud owner of 12 sprawling acres, a space we joyously share with others.

Beyond our professional lives, we relish moments immersed in nature, scouring for Native American artifacts, navigating tranquil waters via kayaks, and discovering hidden gems at the multitude of breweries dotting the picturesque Hill Country landscape. Our shared love for the outdoors fuels our adventures, leading us to explore hiking trails, camping spots, and scenic vistas that Texas generously offers.

Amidst the tranquility of our acreage, we find solace and connection with each other, with nature, and with the vibrant community around us. Our Texan dream has unfolded in unexpected, beautiful ways, weaving together our pasts, our passions, and our shared aspirations for the future. And in sharing our slice of paradise with others, we hope to inspire the same sense of wonder, gratitude, and joy that Texas has bestowed upon us.

In October 2020, we made our temporary home in this charming cabin upon purchasing the property, while eagerly awaiting the completion of our forever home. Our time spent here was nothing short of delightful – a sentiment shared by our grandson, who adores the cozy loft areas. Even now, when the cabin sits unoccupied, we often find ourselves strolling down memory lane, allowing him to play in the loft with his little tent. If you have children, rest assured they'll find endless joy in its unique and inviting spaces. Originally intended as our guest house, this cabin quickly became a beloved sanctuary for us, offering everything we needed and more. Now, we're thrilled to open its doors to guests from around the world, hoping they'll find the same comfort and warmth that made it a cherished home for us. We invite you to experience the magic of our little cabin and create your own treasured memories within its walls.
