Little Bay Waterfront Retreat

Welcome to the beach! This home has the most amazing view of the Chesapeake Bay with a beautiful white sand beach just steps away from the back door. The sunroom with cathedral ceiling on the waterside of the house is the perfect spot for morning coffee or all day lounging. Bring your groceries and prepare your meals in the full kitchen. Beach toys & kayaks are available for guests. Well behaved pets are welcome, but guests will be responsible for any damages.

Vickie is amazing, best I have ever worked with, she is a huge factor as to why I book the same house every year! Million dollar views from a small charming house….clean, relaxing, comfortable beds and well stocked kitchen. Great location to some great places to eat. I suggest you book sooner than later, just dont book my week please.

Little Bay Waterfront Retreat

Enjoyed our getaway at this bayfront property in a very quiet and private neighborhood. White sandy beach in a protected bay. Water was calm and you could safely walk out quite far. Very nice sunroom for morning sunrises.

Private beach get away

A perfect spot for a quiet beach get away! The house was clean and well equipped in a secluded neighborhood with freindly neighbors and an amazing view just like the listing. Vickie the property manager was amazing with good communication and went above an beyond to make sure we had a great stay!

Another great weekend! Great communication. House has everything we needed. Can’t beat walking out the back door to a quiet beach! Only thing I wish they would change is putting a double or queen bed with twin on top in two of the bedrooms. That would allow everyone to have a bed. My adult children don’t like sharing a bed. King in master bedroom is great!

Gorgeous views, relaxed charm

Sweet cottage with amazing views. Some items could use updating but everything works well, and it's well stocked. We had some water issues and the property manager was quick to respond and very helpful. She even brought us some water til everything was resolved. Absolutely the best property manager I've ever dealt with. Would stay here again! Perfect for relaxing!

The Perfect Secluded Getaway!

This property is the perfect spot for a relaxing trip away from the city. We enjoyed the direct beach access (very convenient for our pups) and beautiful sunroom to lounge in during morning coffee. The whole area is a hidden treasure. We will definitely be back!

Excellent.

We had a great long weekend at Little Bay Waterfront Retreat! The location of this property is awesome. We loved relaxing on the beach which is so close to the house. The house was clean, comfortable, and well stocked. It had everything we needed. It was also close to restaurants and shopping. We’ll definitely visit and stay here again.

Nice for the price

This is a well-kept older home in a very quiet and friendly neighborhood with a wonderfully large sunroom built on the back facing out onto a small private white sand beach, the bay, and the glorious sunrises.

Little chilly outside, but we were cozy in this cute cottage on the water. Nice big beds and plenty of space for us!

This is a perfect place to enjoy a quiet stay at the beach. The private beach has a beautiful view. The house has everything you need. The neighbors were very nice and friendly. Great stay!

Quiet and enjoyable beach

Our favorite part about this home is the water level at the beach. It’s such that our small children can play around without worry of hitting super deep spots. If you go out far, you’ll find some but our children never ventured that far. We loved having the peace of mind of knowing they could always touch. Inside the home, the sunroom is our favorite place to be! We also love the layout of the home as the bedrooms are separate from living spaces which made naps really easy for our kids. This year, in comparison with last year, the home was much cleaner. I did still have to clean the bath tub before I felt comfortable with my kids using it, but that is pretty typical for most places we go. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well-stocked! We LOVE the toys available for the kids!!! Such a special place!

Loved this property!

We wanted somewhere where we could have a private beach to swim with our dog, and enjoy the wonderful view of the bay. This fit the bill perfectly! The water was warm, and the waves were minimal, making it a wonderful afternoon of swimming enjoyment. The house is spacious and has everything you could want or need. Just sitting in the sunroom in the morning with your coffed is worth the price alone! Highly recommended!!

Short weekend

Overall amazing. My two boys age 13 and 10 loved playing monopoly together my daughter 6 lived playing with Barbies and my husband and I loved the beach. My younger one didn't need her floaties because it was waist deep which was a huge relief. We loved it.

Birthday’s to remember

Had a wonderful time celebrating my moms birthday and her significant other’s birthday as well. Weather was absolutely gorgeous the entire time. Water was so clear. Relaxed every day. Enjoyed watching an evening thunderstorm from the sun room and listening to the rain…house is charming with everything you need. The property manager, Vickie, is a delight to work with and very responsive with emails in booking and even helping us find a restaurant for a birthday dinner. Already looking at more dates for our next trip. This is my happy place.

Comfortable & cozy

I think the people who complain about this place are the same people who send soup back at a restaurant because it is “too hot.” This is a comfortable home steps from the beach with spectacular views. The owners have clearly been very thoughtful in providing extra amenities to make guests’ stays as convenient as possible. We all appreciated that essentials like hand soap, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, garbage bags, etc were provided since they aren’t always. There were toys for the kids & even for our dog- bowls & towels. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We all agree that we would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Great place for family with kids

We loved this cute little property on the bay front beach. The little beach is calm and shallow here, and absolutely wonderful for the smaller kids. So close and convenient to the house. Perfect for a very relaxing get away for real quality time with the family. The kids had a great time playing on the sand and in the water. We found crabs, horseshoe crabs, jelly fish, little fishies, shells, stones, sea glass and more. Kayaking on the water with the kids was a great experience too. We also enjoyed some of the board games together at nights. Only real negative was the internet connection was very very slow for us and I had no cell service at all on my TMobile phones. Other than that this place is a little piece of heaven on earth for lazy beach days!!

Wonderful property with great beach, fishing, dolphin watching, etc.

This place was perfect for a beach vacation with our family having two youngsters. The porch is great for dolphin spotting. This is a 100% marine environment. Got into a dolphin pod numbering about two dozen on my paddleboard. Our four-year-old granddaughter spent most of her time on the beach and in the water, fearless in her wet suite and water wings. For late July we got lucky on the temps and some fresh rains seemed to keep most of the sea nettles at bay. Fishing right off the beach on an incoming tide brought in plenty of easy catches of croaker (two to a line) for the four-year-old. For the bigger fish, I had to fish the edge of the channel. A 26" red drum was almost too much for me to handle on 10lb test, but smaller ones in the 20" were also available. With the big ones, just be patient and tire them out, even if it takes twenty minutes. If you're on a kayak, you will be dragged around a bit. One review said there was no deep water. Hah! I was up to my shoulders between the 2nd and 3rd sandbars on a low tide. Large menhaden/bunker ships pass through the nearby channel towards your right (Antipoison Creek). But yeah, straight out front of the house for fifty yards it's pretty shallow (2' - 4') and safe for kids with flotation devices. The crabs were plentiful. It didn't take long to fill up our pots with nearly two dozen and steam them with a little bit of Old Bay. This is great place if you want to enjoy all the Bay has to offer.
