Beautiful home with open concept living, dining and kitchen area, cathedral ceiling, spacious bedrooms and baths, and plenty of outdoor living space with large partially covered deck above and a shaded lounging area underneath. Split floor plan provides ultimate privacy for all guests. Amenities abound in Ocean Lakes' gated community and include almost one mile of pristine white sand beach, 24 hour security, trash pick-up, free basic cable, indoor/outdoor swimming pools, water park/slides, lazy river, 2 full size basketball courts, volley ball, miniature golf, fire pit, shuffle board, horseshoes, corn hole, ping-pong, Sandy's Down-under skatepark, recreation building, arcade, general store, golf cart rentals, Sandys Meet & Eat restaurant and more!

Great home to rent at Ocean Lakes

The location is perfect, on a quite street, shaded in the evening to eat dinner on the deck. They let us check in early which was perfect and the house was very clean and perfect for our family. If you don't know Ocean Lakes Campground properties, you do have to bring your own linens and towels as well as beach amenities so that makes it inconvenient if you're flying in. The beach and pool are very crowded as the campground is huge. Overall we had a great time with family who was staying at different properties. I would definitely recommend this home.

Not bad

The home was as the property owner described, however; it was not very clean. The toilets in the bathrooms had the strip across the toilet lid to show that they were cleaned on the inside but around the toilet bowl and the sides on the outside were pretty bad. We provided our own towels and linens and did not use theirs. The rooms were very small, we were a family of 5 adults and 2 children and we were crammed. Overall it wasn’t that bad, just needed a deep clean.

Loved our stay

We loved your house while we stayed for a week vacation. The street was very quiet while we were there. We were all very comfortable and had all the necessary accommodations you would need while there.

Fall Beach Trip

Enjoy our stay. Nice outdoor area downstairs with tv that we watched college football on Saturday afternoon. Lots of fun.

Very Nice, would stay again

We enjoyed our stay. We had a hiccup with the air conditioning but the home owners made sure we were taken care of. Just something you don’t want to deal with on vacation. Needed some extra cleaning from whatever cleaning company they use but after speaking with the homeowners, I believe this will be resolved. We would consider staying here again for sure.

Shady quiet spot to retreat and relax

Number one, LISA was one of the most communicative property owners we've ever worked with. Through email or text, she was so prompt and gave lots of details and did not mind when I sent her extra questions about things. That was really appreciated! LISA's house was exactly as advertised. This is our first trip to Ocean Lakes, and we really did not know the layout of it. And we were greatly relieved when we realized that this house was off the beaten path of the main strip for golf carts and on a shady part of the street. We had everything we needed. The under the house area was great for regrouping after time on the beach with the outdoor shower and the seating area and swing. Our favorite part was the upstairs porch which was massive and shaded and we use the grill for different meals so that the house was not getting heated up inside. The rooms were just what we needed for space. The master bedroom was excellent. The only missing thing was some room darkening curtains for the master bedroom for light and heat. The house stayed nice and cool as beach houses go & all of the appliances and televisions worked easily.

Great trip

My family meets every year at Ocean Lakes and we had a blast. The house was cozy and we had a great time. I had originally thought the house was much closer to the beach but I’m glad it wasn’t because being back under the shade of the trees was a nice reprieve from the sun. We were actually able to sit on the front porch and hang out and we were crowded by the golf cart traffic. Close to South Gate for easy access and exit! We had. Great time!

We had the best time our week in Myrtle Beach! Ocean Lakes staff were always available, the house we stayed in was immaculate! Beautiful decor, outdoor seating areas were phenomenal and Peter was fantastic to work with.

Absolutely amazing!

I have rented many homes in Ocean Lakes for MANY years… this property was excellent! First & foremost, it was clean! Also, we loved the layout of the home and very much enjoyed all the outdoor spaces. The street was perfect for kids (ages 3-5) to ride their bikes without tons of traffic. The host was so quick to respond to any questions we had. It was an absolute perfect spot & we enjoyed our stay - will definitely be renting this one again!!

Awesome vacation!

Love the spot love the place, quiet friendly people. Everything was as noted I’m definitely gonna go back. Owner was professional promptly returning my messages and let me go in early, which was amazing. Absolutely recommend. I made sure that I took care of it like it was my own. Great Getaway

The house was exactly as advertised. Plenty of room for my husband and I with two older teens (we had a master en suite and they each had their own room and shared a bathroom - perfect). The house was clean with plenty of cleaning supplies if necessary. The kitchen was well equipped - we grilled a meal and had everything we needed. The LOVED the deck - we spent as much time on it as we could; the best part was the first cup of coffee of the day and a good book in comfortable chairs. We would definitely go back to this house. Quiet area (we were off season).

Easy to book. Prompt replies to any questions. Was perfect for family stay of 6. Would definitely stay again if in the area. Right on the ocean/beach. Plenty to do without leaving the immediate area made this stay a plus (the teenagers were never bored)!
