Family Vacation

We stayed in cabin 290 very nice older cabin, need to update pictures. There was torn curtains. Friendly staff even seen a momma bear and 2 cubs on the property.

Good location, though cabin had lot of ladybugs

Good location, though cabin had lot of ladybugs. The evening we arrive bathroom had lot of ladybugs dead and alive. Then notice more around living area. Perhaps it’s due the winter season though property owner needs to do better job at cleaning before guest arrivals and insulating the cabin to avoid from bugs entering the cabin

Peaceful

This was just what we didn't know we needed! Super quiet location, comfortable for 4 adults, and so relaxing.The property isn't the newest in the area, but that didn't bother us. Beds were comfy and there was enough space we didn't feel cramped.Things I wish we knew before our stay though: There are no "extras" in the cabin! Most rentals we have stayed at have the little things like coffee, salt and pepper, shampoo... this location had none of that.Because of the loft and super high ceilings it was very hot upstairs! You couldn't lower the AC past 70*. An extra stand up fan would have been nice for the loft area.Overall we were very impressed with the property, price, and comfortability of the cabin. We will definitely rent again when we come back!!!

Check in was easy and quick. The cabin is not well stocked but for what we needed it was fine. Cozy was the word we used for the inside because the 2nd bedroom is an open loft but decent size.

Wonderful Experience

Cabin was just as described. Very clean, beds were comfortable, nice, quiet location. Plenty of seating in living room. Kitchen was very useable. LOVED this cabin! Only negative was the dining room chairs were not very comfortable for sitting very long, we played a lot of cards and sat for long periods. Unfortunately we didn't see any wildlife except a squirrel and lizard, but it was extremely hot and humid most of the week.

Will never rent from this again.

Cabin was engulfed with smoke from a nearby brush fire. Had to leave cabin and get hotel in Knoxville. Rental company didn’t give me a refund for missed days. Also, place is outdated and pool table is missing felt

Review for 290

Wish we could have turned off the porch light. It must have been programmed to turn on and off at a certain time. Would liked to have had more blankets available for the beds. All in all...good stay.

Difficult Check Out

The check in office is quite a distance from cabin. The cabin has a gate that you have to get out and unlock/open manually. The cabin was in rough shape. Old pool table and you have to put a deposit on pool table materials. You also have to return it all (to the main office) the night before If you plan to leave earlier than check out time the next day. Difficult checkout when you want to leave early for the drive home.

Disappointing

Location was good, cabin was clean and Donna in the office was great. The cabin was sparsely furnished, no paper products except toilet paper. We were given 1 dish towel, 1 dish rag, 1 dishwasher pod, etc. If you wanted more towels or other supplies you had to DRIVE to the office (about 10 minutes away) to get them. Ridiculous considering the price we paid! This cabin has potential but I won't be returning to a Dodgen property.

I’m sorry you were disappointed we try hard to make it convenient for our guest seeing that the office is one mile from the main strip of pigeon forge you pass by the office going into town. We only give you a starter package until you can get more when you go to the grocery store . You can ask for more and we would be glad to give you more. The cabin is a beautiful cabin and is welled equipped. If you had any questions on supplies please call our office. Thank you
