ABOUT THE HOME
Built in 2020, Yes, Deer has two bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms. The master bedroom has a cozy king bed and the second bedroom has a twin over full bunk bed with a pull out twin trundle. The fully stocked kitchen is a dream and ready to meet your needs, whether that’s cooking in or simply using the Keurig for your morning coffee. There are also two porches, one with a hot tub, for you to enjoy!

With two spacious porches to enjoy, you can spend your time on the front porch enjoying seasonal views of the mountain range, or out back soaking in the 6 person hot tub. We have a gas grill and fire pit out back as well as outdoor furniture for lounging or dining. Located on a heavily wooded lot, Yes, Deer offers the perfect secluded setting for enjoying the peace and quiet of the outdoors.

We want you to feel right at home when you vacation with us. We offer 5G fiber internet, cable, a smart TV for streaming from your favorite apps, a dedicated work space, and so much more. All linens and toiletries are provided. We also have a Pack-N-Play and booster seat on site if needed for the littlest of guests.

LOCATION
Less than 2 miles to the slopes, Yes, Deer is nestled in the perfect location to enjoy all Beech Mountain has to offer. Local Beech Mountain restaurants and shops are all just a short drive away. It’s also just less than 7 miles to Banner Elk which offers an array of fantastic restaurants, a park, winery, brewery, and an awesome Alpaca farm (a family favorite!). But we understand if you never want to leave the house once you arrive. Grab a throw blanket and snuggle up by the fire or explore the vast woods and creek right outside the door if that is more your speed. We have plenty of board games and puzzles for guests to enjoy so please help yourself!

WEATHER
Ideal circumstances would be snow on the slopes and not on the roads, but please be prepared for snowy conditions. The Town of Beech Mountain does a wonderful job keeping the roads clear, but sometimes it can take time. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds due to weather conditions. Since snow is part of the fun, we hope you take precautionary measures to ensure your safety when traveling.

Just what I wanted

The house was clean and very comfortable. I wanted the quiet and isolation and that’s what I got. I saw a baby black bear! The deer acted as if the wanted to come inside and say Hi! It was all great. Great hiking trails up at the top of the mountain.

If I could just pick up this cabin and move it whereveri stay - it's clean and beautiful. The deer were plentiful. It seems as though everything was thought through so that we would not lack for anything during our stay.

We loved our stay!

The home was perfectly equipped and beautiful! It also lived up to the name as we had daily visits from a family of deer. The location was perfect! The home felt remote, yet was only minutes away from everything in Beech Mountain.

Yes, Deer - Perfect Beech Mountain Getaway!

Our stay at Yes, Deer was absolutely perfect! As first-time visitors to Beech Mountain, we couldn’t have asked for a better location—close to all the activities we wanted to do while still offering amazing privacy on a tucked away road. There was deer every time we looked outside, the kids toys were such an added bonus & we received snow one day! Some restaurants were closed for season but that didn’t bother us at all because the crowds were minimal. With so many kid-friendly activities nearby, this has become our new favorite getaway. We’re already planning to make it a yearly tradition and can’t wait to return! We loved staying at end of ski season. I highly recommend Yes, Deer to anyone looking for a cozy, convenient, and family-friendly vacation.

Dreamy, beautiful vacation!

We had the best trip!! & this house is gorgeous. The hot tub with the view & all the wildlife right at our back door is 10/10. We brought a bag of a corn & my son would feed the deer every morning. I think it made his whole trip! We would ski the slopes all day & hot tub at night, what a perfect combo! Thanks for having us!!

Wonderful!

Staying at “Yes, Deer” didn’t disappoint! We loved seeing the deer everyday, they would walk right up to the deck. This home is very cozy. And the hot tub is a great feature! Will definitely be back.

Lives up to its name!

We loved our stay at Yes, Deer cabin! We saw no fewer than 20 deer and some even ate from our hands! The location was great-close to all things Beech Mountain - and under 10 min from the ski resort. Highly recommend!

Perfect weekend get away

We had the best time staying in this quaint, secluded home! Our outdoors loving five year old enjoyed tromping through the wooded areas (bonus: it had just snowed before we arrived); we all enjoyed the hot tub; and an unexpected surprise was the deer who would show up for a snack any time we were outside on the deck :) We ended up grabbing boxes of crackers and some veggies from the store just for the deer! We had a wonderful time here -- I especially enjoyed the open kitchen/living room area so we were all still together and able to chat and play while cooking. I hope we get to stay here again soon!

Great stay!

My wife, child and I had a great stay at Yes Deer. The home was very clean and comfortable. We even got to enjoy our morning coffee while watching a family of deer in the backyard.

We loved this property. We have been staying in the area every year since 2017. This house is on my top 3 places to stay. It’s small but perfect. You will have 3-5 deer visiting every morning, the kids loved it!

My family of three really enjoyed our stay at Yes, Deer. The house is very comfortable and was the perfect size for us. We enjoyed seeing the many deer that would visit daily! 3rd time the charm!

This is our 3rd family vacay at Yes! Deer. Cant say enough good things about the place and the host. Beautiful cabin, great location! Sarah responds in no time to any inquiries that you might have. Beautiful home, super clean; fluffy towels and comfortable firm mattress. Hot tub was clean. 2 bathrooms, 1 shower. Fast response from owner when I had questions. NOTE: steep windy roads. Wifi superfast. Lots of natural light. Kitchen is well stocked; gas grill back deck. Bring groceries; not a lot of local fare; most restaurants seasonal or there's a 30-45min drive to Banner Elk or Boone. Appreciated the electric kettle for making my morning tea!!

There is something magical about Beech Mountain, and when we laid eyes on this brand new home, we fell in love. It’s one of those things that you have to see to appreciate. From the private setting in the woods to the quality of the home, it’s just so cozy and comfortable that we never even want to leave.
