Welcome to Bearfoot Beech Retreat @ elevation 5,506 ft.–Walk across the street to Ski lifts, Summer concert series, Canyon Creek Wedding Venue with attached Restaurant, First Chair Coffee Shop and gourmet bakery, Beech Mountain Brewery are just a short walk away. With 2 bedrooms sleeping up to 6!

Nice open living, dining and kitchen area with high ceilings and views of nature all around. The first bedroom has a queen size bed and half bathroom. There are twin bunkbeds and a sleeper sofa in the second bedroom. The loft also has a twin-size mattress. There are comfy couches in the living room. There is a full bath with shower and tub in the hall. Spacious front deck with mountain and creek views and gas firepit. Well-equipped small kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, toaster, and electric oven and stove. All in one washer / dryer combo is available in the laundry room. soap / fabric softener and dryer sheets all available! All linens also provided.

The Neighborhood
Situated in the small vacation town of Beech Mountain, NC. Its remote location and small-town charm offer a wonderful ambiance and a place to relax and refresh. The serene setting and mesmerizing natural surroundings provide plenty of attractions and places of interest for you to visit. Both Beech Mountain & Banner Elk offer skiing/snowboarding, snow tubing, eco-tourism, zip-lining, mountain biking, off-road ATVs, rafting, fly fishing, hiking, golf, fine dining, and shopping all at your fingertips!

6 guest maximum; All supplied linens, paper goods, etc. will be suitable only for that number of guests. If additional guests are staying, please modify your reservation prior to check-in.
• No pets on furniture please!
• No parties/events
• No smoking indoors or on patio
• Keep noise outdoors after 9 PM to a minimum to respect our neighbors
• Please note that we do have a exterior security camera facing the car parking area.
• Please remove ski equipment before entering home. No ski boots are allowed to be worn inside the home.
• Please bag all food trash properly and store in outside bin, make sure lid and metal cover are tightly shut- bears and other critters will come get it.
• 4-wheel drive is highly recommended when traveling on Beech Mountain especially in winter season!

Easy to find cabin just past main drag of Beech Mountain shops.Cabin was clean and check in/out was simple.Secondary quarter bathroom was useful but the toilet was awkward placement.This was a perfect place for 2 people.

My husband and I spent a wonderful long weekend in this cozy cabin. We were very comfortable and the location was great. The host gave us excellent recommendations for activities in the area and was very responsive. As an added bonus there were deer with their young everywhere.Highly recommend!

Such a cute and cozy cottage near Beech Mountain! It was the perfect get-away for hubby, pup and I to escape the Charlotte heat. Loved hanging out on the balcony! Plenty of hiking and food options nearby! Or grab some groceries at the deli in town. We appreciated having some basic kitchen supplies like foil, oil, salt and pepper. The coffee bar was also a nice touch!

Cozy cabin. Definitely enjoyed our stay. The cabin is perfectly located for visiting Grandfather Mountain and other nearby attractions. Much to our delight we had deer wondering through the property each evening. Looking to return in the fall.

Convenient and clean!

We had a great stay at this home; it was totally clean, close to Beech Mountain resort, and very well appointed. The hosts were quick to help resolve a WiFi issue when needed and check in/check out was super smooth. Thanks so much for a wonderful visit!

Lied about air conditioning

The only AC until is in the living room. I had to sleep on the couch until I left early. The bedrooms do NOT have AC. The rooms were 90 degrees so I had no choice but sleep on the couch for 3 day and had to leave the last 2 days of my trip. I booked this trip in January and needed this vacation. To come in and find out that there was no AC in the bedrooms was so disappointing! Description was misleading. Would be better for winter use. I was looking forward to this trip and was ruined! If you are booking for a summer trip don’t bother. Most windows don’t even have screens to protect from the bugs and bears!

Great Stay

Great property. Very clean. Well appointed and extremely close to the ski mountain. We stayed here for a concert and we're able to quickly walk it. Host was also very friendly and helpful

Beautiful, cozy upscale property, well maintained. The outside environment is beautiful. Several times we found deer roaming the property. There are bears too, though we didn't see them. We loved the propane fire pit on the balcony and the fireplace. Added touches like the heated bathroom mirrors and internet connected appliances added to our experience. While not all the restaurants were open during our stay, those that were open were great. Corey was very responsive when we reached out to him. We would definitely stay there again.

Quick one night stay

Cabin is updated and cute, we only stayed one night. Owners were quick to respond initially and let us check in early which was greatly appreciated. I can see it being a great option in ski season. The dirt road leading in requires 4-wheel or AWD drive even in spring because of the deep holes and ruts. As another review mentioned the bedrooms are very warm and oscillating blade fans in each room would go a long way. Couldn't get the coffee maker to work, could have been user error. I messaged the owner shortly after check in that the kitchen window was cracked and about the coffee maker, but did not get a response.

Great place.

Very cozy and peaceful place that can hold 5-6 people comfortably. Place was clean and had all the amenities. Location is great. Owners very responsive.

Mountain getaway

The treehouse was a great weekend retreat. Our family loved the location and the house itself had everything we needed for our stay. There is an air conditioner unit in the kitchen, but a fan or 2 might’ve been helpful for the unseasonably warm couple of days we were there. We will be back for a winter stay and take advantage of the beautiful fireplace.

Clean and cozy

House looked newly updated. It was well equipped with all the necessities that were clean and new. There were no closets or drawers to put your clothes so we used the second bedroom for clothes stirage
