We bugs and nothing in this cabin works !!

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Nightmare! We were there to celebrate a birthday. Microwave didn’t work. Warm water from sinks didn’t work. Late check in due to water leak but water issues were still a big problem . The pool alarms randomly went off throughout the night . To add insult to injury, there was a bed bug infestation. Worst “vacation” I’ve ever experienced
Respuesta de VrboOwner el 15 de oct de 2026
We sincerely apologize that your stay fell so far short of expectations, especially during a birthday celebration. We understand how frustrating it must have been to experience multiple maintenance issues, pool alarms throughout the night, and concerns regarding bed bugs. This is certainly not the experience we want our guests to have, and we take these concerns seriously. Thank you for bringing these matters to our attention, as we will use your feedback to address these issues and improve the experience for future guests. We truly hope to have a better opportunity to serve you.

We have rented with Elk Springs many times in the past and have never been disappointed. Highly recommend Rustic Ridge with Elk Springs Resort! Great location and views!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This cabin was a great spot for our family. The kids loved the games, the pool, and the movie theater. The parents loved the multiple decks with wonderful views of the mountains. There is only one other cabin next to it so it feels pretty secluded. Our van had a slight struggle getting up the gravel "driveway" fully loaded, but had no problems after that.

Thank you for sharing your experience! We’re so glad your family enjoyed the cabin and that everyone found something to love—from the kids having fun with the games, pool, and movie theater to the adults relaxing on the decks with those beautiful mountain views. The balance of seclusion while still having a neighboring cabin nearby is something many guests really appreciate. We truly appreciate you taking the time to leave feedback and hope to welcome your family back for another memorable Smoky Mountain getaway soon!
