Rosemary Beach House on the Boardwalk...just steps from the beach!!!

Taurins Cottage is the perfect beach retreat for a family who wants to enjoy the best of what Rosemary has to offer. Situated on the corner of Rosemary Avenue and Boardwalk B, you will be just steps away from the beach, and merely a 5 minute walk down Rosemary Avenue to Barrett Square, where you can enjoy boutique shopping, fine dining and of course, the Sugar Shack, a local favorite for kids of all ages.

Taurins Cottage is a clean and calming refuge, that offers a relaxed at home feel. The master bedroom and adjoining bath are located on the first floor, along with two children’s bunk rooms, a second full bathroom and a laundry room. The fully stocked kitchen, breakfast bar and dining area are located upstairs, open to the family room with a large sectional sofa. This is a wonderful space for the whole family to gather after a day at the beach. Two additional bedrooms and a full bathroom are also located upstairs.

The wrap around balcony porch offers a a place to sit and relax as you take in the ocean view, while a private plunge pool is located in the home’s courtyard. The cooling plunge pool is a wonderful amenity to have after a day at the beach. During the cooler months, the pool can be heated for an additional fee.

If you're traveling with a nanny or adult children, you may also consider renting the Taurins Carriage House in conjunction with the Taurins Cottage, so they may enjoy their own private accommodations just outside of the main house across the courtyard. The Taurins Carriage House (VRBO 2164789) provides accommodations for 4. It offers a spacious open concept kitchen, dining and living room, as well as a bunk nook downstairs and a queen sized loft with privacy and lots of natural light upstairs. With its combination of white shiplap walls, high ceiling, warn wooden floors and eclectic mix of midcentury modern and rustic furniture, this boho-chic space provides a very cool beachy vibe.

*** PLEASE NOTE: PARKING CAN OCCASIONALLY BE A CHALLENGE IN ROSEMARY AS IT WAS DESIGNED TO BE A PEDESTRIAN COMMUNITY. IT OFFERS ONLY PUBLIC STREET PARKING AND IF YOU ARE TRAVELING IN MULTIPLE CARS, YOU MAY HAVE TO PARK A BLOCK FROM THE HOUSE AT TIMES. OUR GARAGE IS NOT ACCESSABLE FOR PARKING; HOWEVER, YOU MAY PARALLEL PARK IN FRONT OF THE GARAGE. THIS PARKING SPOT ACCOMMODATES ONE VEHICLE AND IS LIMITED FOR USE BY ONLY TAURINS COTTAGE GUESTS. ****

We love staying at this property. It was very convenient to everything that we wanted to do including the walk over to the beach, the community pool and the shopping area. The house was perfect for our family and it was nice to have indoor and outdoor areas. I highly recommend.

Family vacation - 2 young families

We stayed here with our three children (4 and under) and our friends and their two children (5 and 8). The house is super close to the beach and a nice community pool, and an easy walk to “town” and all of the restaurants and shops. We loved the location. The house was clean and well stocked, and while we didn’t need to contact the hosts after check-in bc everything was in great shape and explained well, Andy was immediately responsive when we had a q at check in. Highly recommend staying here!!

Lovely beach house in amazing location!

The house is in the best location, so close to the beach. it has a lovely pool and many beach items (toys, chairs, bougie boards etc.) for your use. Our host, Andy, was amazing! The homes interiors are well decorated with nice and comfortable RH and Serena & Lily furniture. Highly recommend staying here!!!

Wonderful

The host was incredibly responsive to questions prior to our visit. This was a great place to gather and enjoy family. The private beach was beautiful and the home was very comfortable and inviting. Loved the wraparound porch! The location was perfect if you didn’t feel like driving anywhere in your car. I would highly recommend this place!

I been going to Rosemary for years ! My child owns a home ! So this was our first rental ( needed something big and bear Beach ! ) it was perrfrct ! The beach you can see from wrap around porch , and so easy with kids to hop on and off all day ! Chair rentals are excellent and needed ! We never left Rosemary, so many great restaurants and activities for everyone! Andy was the perfect Host ! Thank you

Wonderful vacation

We had a great time! The house was perfect and so close to the beach. The location was great for bike rides and we felt safe letting our teenagers roam the neighborhood and surrounding area.

Amazing rental and host

We had the most amazing time at this perfect rosemary beach rental. The location was perfect with direct access to the beach and less than one block to the community pool. Very spacious with plenty of room for our large group. Great bunk room for kids. Our car broke down when we were leaving and the host gave us a new access code to hang out in the ac while we waited for it to be fixed.

Perfect location!

This property was a perfect fit for our family of 6 adults and 2 children. Everyone enjoyed the spacious bedrooms, upstairs living area and mornings on the balcony. Location to beach and Rosemary village couldn’t have been better. All concerns and questions we had before arrival were answered promptly by host. We look forward to returning soon!

Great House!

We stayed at Taurins recently and had a wonderful experience! The house was beautiful, clean and is perfectly located within Rosemary Beach. It was nicely appointed and having the bikes was huge four our teenagers. Sarah was immensely accommodating with any question I had before and during our stay. Due to an oversight on our part upon leaving, we had to contact Sarah after our stay and she was SO very, very helpful!! Thanks for a great stay!

Perfect location and beautiful house

We had a wonderful stay at Taurin's Cottage! The house is beautiful, the beds and pillows are extremely comfortable (I'm VERY picky), and the location is literally perfect. Not only is it three houses from the beach and on the boardwalk/walkover, but in my opinion being on the east side of Rosemary Beach is preferable because it's quieter yet still close to everything. Loved that one of the 4 community pools is only two streets away, and there's a little playground that my kids loved literally around the corner from the house. Finally, the host was SUPER responsive and helpful before and during our stay, even sending the handyman over to tighten the bunkbeds for us!

Owner just seeking compensation

Upon arrival to the property, we instantly took photos of certain damages (stained couch/ busted windows) due to the uneasy phone call we received one hour away from the destination about her weariness of a group of adults staying. We were informed previous renters had "destroyed" the property. We arrive in 90 degree weather to the downstairs AC unit not working... after one flush a downstairs toilet OVERFLOWS into the floor... around 6 hours later a plumber comes in (has to remove the toilet where baby wipes were found to be blocking it). Also, 6 hours later... AC tech comes and lets us know he will have to be back the next day as well to finish the repair. During the night, another downstairs toilet OVERFLOWED... over 10 hours after the event another plumber was sent out to fix the problem. 3 repair guys within the first 24 hours into a 3 night stay. The next day the Wi-Fi went out and yet another tech had to be sent out. Truly did not feel that I got to enjoy my stay due to the inconvenience of techs/ repairmen coming in and out of the property. 9 days after departure we were charged an additional large amount from "cracked toilet, stained linen, a faucet being unscrewed that was "deliberately" done (idk lol), a toilet paper holder that literally fell out of the wall while there, and confetti and trash being left in certain areas) We were informed that the house has been occupied since March and the owners hadn't been able to have little things checked on... LITERALLY AN ABSOLUTE JOKE. We paid a lot for 3 nights is in itself, much less being harassed every single day of the stay about repairs needing to be made. We were comped a tiny amount the night of the AC/plumber issue to only be charged 4 times the amount in damages that were due to negligence of the property in the first place.

Terrific stay; hope to return

Our family really enjoyed our stay at this comfortable home - perfect location to enjoy the beach, private pool and nearby community pools, and shopping, green space and restaurants all super close. Very comfortable beds and linens, and we are tough critics. The host, Sarah, was prompt to respond to any questions and made sure we had everything we needed for a great stay. Thank you! Hope to return.
