Enjoy being truly Gulf-front in this condo! The Boardwalk on Okaloosa Island features stores and restaurants right on the shore, just under two miles from the home. If you want to get even closer to the ocean, sign up for tours and fun ocean trips at Power Up Watersports, just under one and a half miles away. For folks that like to relax closer inland, Wild Willy's Adventure Zone is just over three miles away by car and offers bumper boats, a ropes course, and many more family-friendly activities.

The colorful decor welcomes you to the Gulf, and the full kitchen is ready to help you make beach snacks or a drink to enjoy on the open patio. You'll be able to walk over to the shared pool with ease! Younger guests will love staying up and chatting on the hallway bunks. Little feet will stay cool inside, thanks to tile-style floors. You'll be able to access the beach right from the building - stick beach towels in the private washer/dryer when you return. Everything you need for a great vacation is at your fingertips!

Mother daughter 24th birthday Getaway

My daughter and I wanted to have a little getaway to celebrate her 24th birthday and this was perfect. The location was the best! I was worried about noise from the pool, but it was fine!!! The convenience outweighed any bit of noise we incurred anyway, which again didn’t bother us. We were literally steps away from the beach. We would most definitely stay here again. We had everything we needed and the trip was so relaxing!

Convenient and perfect!

This is a great place to stay. Everything is convenient. Parking close to the unit is a big plus. Very short distance to the pool and to the ocean from the unit. Perfect setup/layout. Super clean unit. Beautiful! Would highly recommend!

Great place!!

We had a great time! Right next to the beach and pool. Beach was not crowded as it was just the guest in the complex. Easy parking. Condo was clean. The beach theme was perfect. Had a great time! Highly recommend!!

Spotless Condo

The place was immaculate, the beach was beautiful, and the 2 beach chairs with umbrella were provided. We loved the unit and would book again. It was not a great ocean view due to it being on the first floor level, but the convenience of it being poolside was nice for anyone with children.

Excellent Experience!

First time to Okaloosa Island/Ft Walton, and we loved every minute of it! This was one of our favorite condos we have ever stayed in, the convenience of ground level walking to the pool and ocean was amazing! Was worried before our trip about it being loud at night beside the pool- we couldn’t hear a peep due to the heavy sliding doors! We will for sure be back to Waters Edge and would recommend this condo 10 times over!

Clean property. Location was perfect for us having our kids with us. Patio is right by pool gate, ice machine and boardwalk to the beach.

Convenient and efficient use of space

Overall, we enjoyed our stay and found the only issue was due to construction making it difficult to get in and out to Publix and restaurants.

Hands down the best!

Hands down the best condo we have ever rented. Convenience to the beach and pool could not have been better! We were able to walk out the patio door and be steps to the beach! My husband was able to sit on the patio in the shade while the kids and I played in the pool and still be included! The condo was comfortable and had everything we needed! The kids loved the bunks! We were able to pull our vehicle up to the door of the condo to unload and load our car which made getting settled in so much easier. Someone from Vacasa actually called after we checked in to make sure we had everything we needed! I cannot say enough good things about our experience and comfort of the condo! We would definitely rent this exact same condo again!!!

Great location!

We stayed in September and it was the perfect location! Parking was right outside the front door, the pool and beach were outside our back door, which is a huge plus if you have kiddos who like the pool! The unit was clean and exactly like the description. Plenty of clean towels and amenities. Pros: Location! Clean, always had parking space, great communication, near Destin (if you like the crowds) but far enough to be quiet. Stewby's is a must if you like seafood! Cons: Not really any cons except of all the codes you had to remember (gate code, room code). Also, there were no hangers in the tiny closet in the bedroom, but the listing does state that there is no storage for suitcases, etc. We put our suitcases on the extra bunkbeds in the hallway. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone with kids or without.

Perfect beach and pool access!

Condo was clean & cute-worked perfectly for our family. The best part was the pool was steps away and the beach walkway just a few more steps. It made it so easy to come back and forth with min. effort! Chair service was a lifesaver!

Awesome Stay

Loved staying at Waters Edge! Condo was exactly how described. Right off the pool and beach! It was so quite at night and wonderful people during the day! The free chairs and umbrella that came with room was a plus! Also very good communication with Vacasa.

Great location!

The location to the beach and the pool is fantastic, overall the condo was well appointed. Kitchen area had all items needed for a easy stay. The best thing about this condo is being able to walk out directly to the pool and the boardwalk to the beach.

Hello beach!

What a dream location! Literally a 1m walk from the back door to the surf! Don't even need a cooler, just walk back to the unit for a beverage. Pool is also right there. Noise was not an issue. Covered parking is right out the front door. The unit is very nicely furnished. Ft Walton Beach is so much less crowded with no huge towers, yet Destin is just minutes away if you want to get into the touristy stuff. Let them have their traffic. Publix and Wal-Mart nearby with tons of great restaurants. We had a wonderful stay and would most certainly go back!

Can’t Wait to Return!

What a great condo! I can’t imagine a better place for the price. The size was just right for my family of 4. Even though it’s a 1 bedroom, there is plenty of space to spread out and relax. The beds were incredibly comfortable, kitchen is spacious and well stocked, furniture and decorations are comfortable and contemporary. But our favorite thing about this place is the location. Literally 10 steps from the back door to the boardwalk and a 30 second walk to the beach. If that isn’t enough, there are two pools right outside the back door as well. Our kids were in heaven. The condo was bright, welcoming and extremely clean. A couple of things for future renters to keep in mind… 1) There is no storage space in this condo. There is a tiny closet that the vacuum barely fits in, but that’s it. No place to store your empty suitcases. This was not a big deal to us but could be for future renters so I thought I’d mention it. 2) The dryer is very confusing to operate. We couldn’t get it to dry our clothes on the first day so Vacasa sent maintenance over to look at it. He couldn’t figure it out either so they had a repair man come who didn’t fix anything, but he figured out that the dryer would only work if used on the timed setting and if we turned off the “eco dry” setting. This was pretty frustrating but Vacasa did their best to help remedy it and even gave us access to a dryer in another unit for a couple of days. Other than those two things, everything about this place is perfect and we will definitely be returning in the future.
