Just a 5-minute walk from a pristine, private beach on the sparkling blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico, Starfish Stays is a beautifully renovated, Key West-inspired retreat. Our studio apartment, Starfish 1C, is one of eight unique vacation units nestled in the heart of Manasota Key — a hidden gem of Southwest Florida.

Skip the crowds — our private beach access is just a two-minute stroll from your door. Whether you're enjoying a sunrise walk, collecting shells and shark teeth, swimming, or relaxing under an umbrella, our wide, sandy beach is the perfect escape. We provide complimentary beach chairs, umbrellas, and towels, plus two custom outdoor showers to rinse off the salt and sand with ease.

Starfish 1C is a fully renovated studio It features:

A brand-new queen bed

Sofa bed with upgraded memory foam full mattress

Stainless steel appliances

Fully stocked kitchen

Full bathroom

All linens and essentials provided

Head to the communal pergola area, complete with a propane fire pit, BBQ grills, cornhole games and hammocks!

Nature & Adventure Nearby:

Stump Pass State Park (3 miles south): Fishing, hiking, kayaking, and one of the best spots to find shark teeth.

Blind Pass Park (1 mile north): Docks, playground, nature trails, free parking, and outdoor showers.

Mother-Daughter Trip

Absolutely loved our stay!! Property was very nice and cozy! Beach was conveniently across the street and several restaurants a few blocks down the street. Once we made our trip to grocery store we didn’t have to drive anywhere. We’re already planning our next trip to Starfish Stays in Englewood!! The hosts Scot and Paula were quick to respond to any questions I had. Again we absolutely loved it!! Vicky T.

Clean, Efficient and Cute-to-Boot!

Starfish Stays accommodated my husband and myself comfortably. Couch & tv for him to watch his news and read his paper. Chair outside by door for me to sip coffee. Bed was comfortable! Bathroom was just right. Loved using my phone to lock & unlock door. Easy walk across street to access beach. Appreciated having coffee available to get through our first morning upon arrival! I highly encourage others to consider Starfish Stays at Manasota Key.

Exactly as we had hoped

Enjoyed Our Stay

Very clean. With all the amenities that you can think of. Although it was not directly on the beach, it was conveniently located in front of the pathway to the beach. Property owners and staff were great to deal with, super friendly. Will definitely go back.

The town was just getting over a major hurricane with debris everywhere. Our building and grounds were clean and ready to go. Check in was easy and the staff was great. Wonderful job, it couldn't have been easy.

Fantastic stay!

Beautiful property, clean rooms and quiet. Absolutely loved the decorations. Had so much fun and definitely will come back. They provide all the goodies for fun at the beach. Great location with a few really good restaurants near by. Stephanie was super helpful. If I could make one tiny suggestion for the owners, there are only two wagons for hauling your chairs/coolers/umbrella and such to the beach. Guests tend to hide them in their rooms overnight to make sure they have one the next day. Adding a couple would be nice. Not super important, just convenience. Can't wait to come back!

You don’t want to know.

Proximity to beach was great. The unit was clean and had an updated beachy decor. The property manager was helpful and friendly.. That being said, the property was not worth the price. The bed was uncomfortable. We could not get the TV to work properly. The toilet was so small that it seemed like it was made for a toddler. The walls were paper thin. We respectfully would not go back. Our primary focus was to see an ailing relative and we were just happy to land a place during the busy spring break break season . If our purpose was solely a romantic weekend for two, we would have been really disappointed!!

Door opening and locking was an issue/TV was a nightmare/AC quit working /we got on line and figured it out after two warm nights-not enough towels/shower was good/when we turned up fan it make a clicking noise and needed to be turned down/parking is terrible/for the money we paid/we could get a beautiful condo for a month and that is what we will do next time/Ron Labadie

First time to Manasota Key

Property was perfect! All you need to bring are your clothes and food everything else is supplied by the host. Even beach chairs and beach towels! Property was very clean and beautifully decorated. The walk to the private beach was just across the street through an easement. We also used the grill for steaks and it was full of propane and very clean! This property is one of the best we’ve stayed in. And we had great weather 80’s and sunny each day.

The whole trip was amazing. The stay was perfectly located right across from the beach. It’s very quaint and private and a perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of the everyday life. The stay was very clean and the appliances were brand new. Located perfectly with parking for everyone staying there. Five stars.

We had a great stay

We stayed at Starfish Stays, Unit 1C for a week. The units are decorated in a very beachy and fun way and are recently renovated. The unit was very clean and has everything we needed for a week at the beach including new beach chairs, beach towels, and an umbrella. We would definitely stay here again!
