This is not a party house. It is in a nice quiet neighborhood, with people who care about their property and want to relax on the weekends. Ideal for families and friends to gather for relaxing fun. Gather in this expansive yard for a spirited game of cornhole or washers, swimming or fishing from the pier, bobbing in the water, or relaxing in the yard.

We allow well mannered pets; but ask that they not be allowed on the furniture for the sake of allergy sensitive guests. Everything will be provided for you to clean up when your pet "goes" so the yard will remain recreation ready for kids and families. There is a $50 per pet per stay fee with a $125 refundable pet deposit if the house and yard are left with no traces of your pet when you leave.

Wonderful Experience

This cabin was by far the best and cleanest cabin we have ever been to. Everything was so clean and they have thought about every little detail possible. The handwritten card was just over the top and we can't wait to go back and enjoy the cabin again.

Annual crawfish boil

Have friends that live in this area so we went there for their annual crawfish boil. We pretty much only slept here but it was a great location and lot, very pretty.

Lake vacation

We loved it. The property is awesome. Plenty of room for everyone. And the views looking out on the water are fantastic. We all enjoyed swimming and fishing off the dock. The owners are very friendly and helpful, especially with helping to load/unload the boat at the ramp. Five stars all the way!

Great Lake House

There were so many interesting separate places to hang out/chill inside and out on decks, lawn, hammock and even 2 kayaks. It'd be perfect for an extended family but also for a small group. Christy had many helpful suggestions and personal touches. We would never hesitate to stay there again. Thank you, Christy!

Great relaxing lake house

We booked this stay for a relaxing time on the lake and to view some fireworks on the 4th of July. This place did not disappoint! Carol and Christy’s house was amazing! It accommodated our crew of 6 and room to spare. Their place was so clean and had all the things we needed to cook at the house most nights. The hosts were very communicative and willing to help with anything we needed. I highly recommend this place and we plan on booking next year for another lake house vacation!

Awesome home away from home

Staying at this property and home set us up for an unforgettable weekend! The homeowners are wonderful hosts and their property is breathtaking. Everything was top notch and perfectly accommodating. Witnessing the ducklings fly out of the close wood duck box on the property and the ducks coming in to land in the lake was was something to see. The homeowners are were very welcoming all our well-behaved pups and appreciated us cleaning up after them! P.S. the hammock rocks and the morning views are amazing!

25th annual Lakehouse Trip

Our family has rented a lakehouse every summer for 25 yrs. This is the best all round, total package we have ever had. Beautiful huge yard...gorgeous landscaping, kayaks, floats, tons of chairs, hammock, a tree swing, and high platform for jumping on the dock, which has a slip for your boat. Kitchen had starter tray of coffee, spices, and Olive oil. Extra ice waiting in the ice maker was awesome. Very comfortable beds, bedding, towels, and great specialty soaps. I cant think of anything that we needed that we didn't have. And the hosts were the absolute best..So helpful and prompt. You will not be disappointed if you shoose this beautiful home,

Memory Maker Exceeds Expectations!

Our family of 6 really enjoyed our stay and Carol and Christy were very helpful when we had questions. This house and property are a "home" and not your typical rental property. The house is wonderful with spectacular views of the back yard and the water from both the first and second floor. The furnishings and accessories are all top quality. The Kitchen has upgraded appliances and has everything you can possibly need. Both upstairs and downstairs has sitting available on the decks. The yard has plenty of shade so you can sit in the lawn furniture and enjoy the views and watch the boats pass by. We took our boat, and you have access to a private boat launch and the property has a large (and very nice) dock so you can easily park your watercraft right there while you stay. This made it easy to take a morning boat ride and sunset cruses each day. We cannot say enough about how helpful and considerate the hosts were. Carol was a blessing to my wife as she helped me with getting the boat in the water when we got there and out of the water when we left. (Carol also suggested a good time to go out on the lake for the perfect sunset cruise). It was wonderful. This was our BEST VRBO experience ever. We look forward to our next visit.

Best yard on Cedar Creek with a Cabin Feel.

Stairs that lead to shallow water for young ones, and a platform to jump off into the deep for those that are adventurous. Several Catfish and a couple of small Bass caught off the dock, but beware of the turtles that want to steal your bait. Property owners Christy and Carol were very easy to work with and helped with all of our needs. They do live directly next door, which is not what we have been accustomed to, but they were pleasant neighbors. Stairs can be alot for your children and elderly family members….even for me as an out of shape adult. This limited some from enjoying the beautiful yard and lakeside as often as they would have liked. We were surprised to hear that total guests, including daytime, were limited to 10. We had a few family members that lived nearby and stopped in for lunch, this added $75 per guest regardless of age or how long they stayed…this is stated in the rental agreement, but we clearly missed it. Overall beautiful property where you can walk barefoot in the yard and in the water. Great place to reflect and unwind. Thank you Carol and Christy for opening your home to us.

Laid Back Weekend

As you drive up to this great place you definitely feel welcomed to a weekend at the lake right away! Downstairs had a 3 different rooms that were perfect size to have just enough room for privacy and sleep. Bathroom was clean and provided wash as well. Also, easy to use washer and dryer! Then you get upstairs to a gorgeous view of the lake and surrounding docks! Morning coffee on this upstairs patio is a must! The kitchen had plenty of room for any foods/drinks you may bring. Fully stocked with any plates/silverware/cooking tools you might need! Also plenty of space at the dining table for a big family! The grill outside worked perfect and was ready to go for dinner time. Now, back downstairs by the water is where you wanna stay all day! The grounds are very well kept and picked up. There’s a hammock to nap in, picnic table to eat at, and chairs around a fire pit to enjoy your drink while watching the sunset and all the boats go by! Also the dock was perfect to throw a fishing line out in the morning. It’s deeper in front of dock! The side cove area that was not as deep, was a perfect spot to get on a float and hang out in the sun! And lastly, the owners of this property are probably some of the sweetest people we’ve ever met. Very respectful to your privacy and ready to help at any second! The communication was effortless and easy at any time! Highly Highly recommend this place to escape for a weekend away, especially from the city like us!

Amazing Memories

We had an absolutely wonderful time! The house was very clean and comfortable, and the lakefront was gorgeous. Kelly Family Labor Day Weekend

The house and property is absolutely beautiful! There is a water depth for everyone with the shallow area having a sandy bottom. Our family loves being outside so for us it was nice to have plenty of outdoor equipment and games to entertain all ages. There is also plenty of parking area which is great if you have a watercraft & trailer and several vehicles to park. The house is spacious and has the most beautiful view from the living and dining area. It is a 2 story, so there are stairs that need to be taken into consideration for those who might have mobility difficulties. We had a great experience and would stay there again!

Cedar Creek lake house

Good location on the lake. Yard and dock were excellent. Kids really enjoyed swimming as well as jumping from the second level dock. Very roomy outdoor area and we’ll kept. Small indoor spiral staircase to navigate, but other than that house was nice as well.

Fun Weekend Trip with Friends and Kids

We stayed at Enchanted Oaks for a 4-day weekend with friends, kids (ages 13, 4, and 2), and dogs. Overall we had a great time and the house is beautiful. The owners live next door and met us when we checked in to review the house rules and any questions. Communication was great before, during, and after our stay. We were at the house or on the lake the entire weekend. The weather was awesome and we enjoyed the patios and lawn a lot. Plenty of space for our group. We cooked all meals there - great kitchen. The view and windows everywhere were gorgeous. Some tips for future visitors: the living room, kitchen, and master bedroom are upstairs. Downstairs has 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, laundry room, and game room (with a door) with twin beds for extra sleeping. There is a very narrow circular staircase inside which was very difficult for small kids, dogs, and bringing luggage/things up and downstairs. A baby gate would be helpful for those with small children and dogs. We tried to block off the staircase but constantly worried about that with the kiddos. Also right next to the top of the staircase is a couch that overlooks the staircase/balcony looking down. A little scary with the young ones. There is an outside staircase at the back of the house that we all used instead. Also, please note that the listing does say no smoking on the PROPERTY - not just inside of the house. No dogs on the furniture (included in the listing). We did bring our ski boat which we were able to tie up to the dock. It was too big to fit into the slip or use the lift. It worked great and the owners were great helping us access the private boat ramp a couple minutes away and tying up at the dock. Overall we had a blast! In case you forget anything, there's a Dollar General nearby. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

This has been a dream home lake house for us for over 20 years. We have made wonderful memories with family and friends over the year and live in residence close by year round. Our friends, family, and community are at Cedar Creek Lake and we hope you love it as much as we do.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

This property has lake front on two of the four sides. A gentle cove with a sandy bottom for swimming, playing water sports, floating and sunning is on one side. A large dock (you are welcome to bring your boat) with deep water for jumping off the provided "tower", fishing, skiing, tubing, etc. The large expansive yard has something for everyone, as well. Plenty of room to play yard games, picnic, lounge in the hammock, etc. The house also provides a great deal of privacy - so you feel like you have the lake all to yourself.
