Conveniently located only blocks from main street 3BR/3.5BA Cottage. Open living area and master suite are easily accessed on the main level. Two additional bedrooms on lower level, each with an adjoining bathroom. Screened porch with fireplace overlooks the creek and the campus of the Bascom center for visual arts. A firepit is ready to enjoy the crisp afternoons before your short stroll to any of Highlands’ world class eateries. Park your car for the week because this property is within easy walking distance of all downtown Highlands. You can walk to Main Street in five minutes. We have a strict no pet policy at our home.

Family Gathering

Great location

This house in in a great location and is comfortable and clean. I took our daughter and grandchildren to Highlands, and we thoroughly enjoyed the house. While the house is on a main road going in to Highlands, it is buffered by some trees which make it feel woodsy and safe. It was a quick trip to town. The interactive Bascom Trail that is behind the house is amazing.... even for grownups.

Fantastic house!!

What a great house! Beautifully renovated and impeccably decorated. It had all the amenities we needed and more that I would never expect (Olay body wash in all the showers!). The proximity to downtown Highlands is great. The only drawback is that there is a small stretch between the house and the Bascom center that isn’t really “walkable” (no sidewalk and narrow road edge). So we did have to drive to town each time. But otherwise absolutely perfect and we would certainly love to stay again!

Family Christmas

We had a very nice stay over Christmas, 2022. The house was comfortable and well equipped and the beds were comfortable. The location is so convenient, parking was great. A member of our group became seriously I’ll on the last day of our stay. The host was most gracious in extending our stay by a day, and even had one of his employees call to check on him. The weather was so cold that we didn’t get to enjoy the wonderful screened in porch, so we hope that we can come again in warm weather !

This Highlands home is a 5 star stay!

After a bit of a rocky start(the cleaners forgot to clean the house), Derrick & his management company (Krissy), truly went beyond the call to make up for the mishap. Accidents happen. The cleaners were fabulous, kind & super apologetic. They did their thing while we stayed on the porch & all was well. I wouldn't change a thing, as this home is truly the bomb. It is so warm and comfortable. The beds are big and oh so comfy. The hot tub was awesome & seemed to be brand new with the perfect smell of chlorine. the home was so convenient to town(we didn't walk, as we have dogs and there were no sidewalks), but I guess it was close enough to walk. We drove the 3-5 minute drive and that was easier for us. The pantry was loaded with items that we forgot(syrup, olive oil, too many items to list!) You do need to bring your own coffee/cream/butter/shampoo/conditioner). Bottom line, I cannot recommend this place enough!
