Updated Ranchhouse, large yard & rear deck.

The house is listed and rented as a two bedroom home. There is a attached third bedroom with two twin beds and bathroom that is available and can accommodate up to two additional guests. There is an additional daily rental and cleaning fee for this room. The cost is $30 per night and an additional $30 cleaning fee. If you would like this option, book the house and send me a message stating you would like the third room. You will receive an additional charge for this option.

Escape to the beauty of Fort Bragg at this welcoming home featuring a large updated kitchen. Guests will feel at home the moment they step through the front door and see the open layout and spacious living area. The grassy backyard is perfect for lawn games and children to play on the swing and monkey bars. After a day of beach-combing, head out to the furnished back deck to relax and visit with loved ones as the sun sets or take advantage of the full kitchen and prepare a family favorite dish indoors! As the night comes to an end, sit back and relax while you watch a movie on the flat screen TV (with streaming capability).

What's nearby:
Old Coast Getaway is located less than four miles from several public beaches including the popular glass beach. Visit the lighthouse at Point Cabrillo (5.7 mi. south), a 300-acre nature preserve, and catch a ride on the Skunk Train to wind through majestic, virgin redwoods. Other possibilities include kayaking on the river or ocean, horseback riding on the beach, or hiking in Hans Jenny Pygmy Forest, one of four pygmy forests in the country.

Perfect spot! So close to town but still a country feel. Quiet and relaxing. The house had everything we needed. Big kitchen and bright dining room. It was just the 2 of us, but imagined having more family members next time. Larry was a great communicator. Definitely would love to return.

Quite impressed. there was an issue with the refrigerator when we got there that evening, and the host had a solution with in the hour. My only suggestion, would be to have a couple of extra rolls of toilet paper in the cupboard, possible in the laundry room where easily found if necessary. our stay was outstanding and if we ever come that way again we would enjoy staying at this cottage again. Quiet, Great Kitchen

The kitchen was perfect and having 3 bathrooms was great. Furniture was comfortable. Spacious living room. Instant hot water which is great since you need to conserve water in Fort Bragg area. Very happy with our stay and would stay again if I needed that much space again.

Great, clean home

The home was completely stocked with everything that you would need. It was clean and well updated. It was a great location close to town and beaches. The owner was very communicative and instructions were easy. The backyard is super fun if you have kids. Highly recommend and would go again.

Beach vacation

Nicely stocked and comfortable house. The kitchen has everything you need for meal prep. Perfect for our friends get together! Bonus - the back yard teeming with deer, jack rabbits, and a blue heron.

Love Love this Home

We had a fabulous time in this amazing vacation home. We come to Fort Bragg 2-3 times a year, always staying at least a week. This will be the place we will be staying from here on out... The entire place was spotless. The kitchen is beautifully updated and has everything one could need. The mattresses and pillows are great. We took the 3-bedroom / 3-bathroom option, and everyone loved having their own nice bathroom. The living room furniture was very comfortable, with everyone having a lounge seat. TV reception and streaming worked without any problems. The deck was wonderful to relax and read and watch the deer families roam. Nice to have a laundry room. Larry was an attentive owner and quickly answered any questions we had. Bottom line...we feel blessed to have found this home. We always felt comfortable and safe! Thanks again Larry!

Beautiful home

A beautiful home with an amazing yard for my daughter to play in with fun swing and tetherball. We were able to see rabbits and deer. Easy walk to botanical garden. Close to good food.

Great stay in Ft Bragg

Our family really enjoyed this house in a great location next to the Mendocino Coast Botanical Garden.. The kitchen is super well- equipped. The spacious bedrooms have adjoining bathrooms. There is a roomy, comfortable seating area in living room. The kitchen includes a roomy table for meals. Larry, the host, is welcoming and easy to reach.

Before we even arrived the owner let us know we could check in early. Upon arriving the house was exactly as described and clean throughout. Wonderful being greeted by three deer in the front yard.Great house for anyone to enjoy!

Comfortable stay ....

First, updated interior, awesome kitchen, good lightings and dinning looking at forest where deers rabbits grazing. House is spacious and location is very good, no street noise. Love it.Second, the owner forgot our check-in day until we call him 3 PM for heater issue. The days we went in January are extremely cold at night. The owner sent his house keeper to provide some old space heaters because the central heater is very slow-starting.Third, there are washer dryer in-house but not listed. There is no AC in-house but listed, Northern California probably never needs cool air except some rare days, heating is needed in winter days.We had a comfortable stay for two adults.

Holiday Getaway

The property was charming with two deer greeting us. The home was clean and ready for guests. The kitchen was fully stocked for easy meal prep. The furniture was comfortable and perfect for evening movies. Property was an easy launching point to all the our adventures.

Perfect Spot for a Family Getaway!

We loved staying at this property. It felt like home away from home. The children enjoyed seeing deer every morning and evening from the front and back decks. Plenty of sleeping spaces and has a very simple layout that doesn't feel too delicate. Was able to let children play without worry they would break things and the playground in the backyard was perfect to let their energy out. We are already discussing our next trip and this is where we will stay!

Great layout!

The home was warm and inviting. Great open floor plan! I liked that there was enough seating for all 5 adults. Everything was VERY clean! Easy communication with owner. Definitely would stay here again!

Cozy, clean and spacious!

We really enjoyed our stay here. It had a great stock in the kitchen to be able to cook our meals with. We loved how spacious it was. It was great to have some games to play in our down time. It was also at a great location and felt secluded. So glad we found this place!

Spacious home for Ft Bragg visit

Our family took a vacation to visit the sea glass beaches at Ft Bragg. It was so much more comfortable staying in a house instead of a hotel for the visit. We enjoyed seeing the deer in the yard every day. The upgraded kitchen was also great for cooking meals. I would stay again if I was in the area.

Great Getaway!

It was a great place to stay! Large yard area for the kids to play. Loved the deer and bunnies that frequently visited. The kitchen was well stocked and enjoyed cooking meals for the family. Location was great too- central location to everything. Quiet and relaxing, family did not want to leave and had a great vacation stay!

Convenient and spacious home

We spent a long weekend up in Fort Bragg. The house is very close to the main highway and easy to find. The living room and kitchen were very spacious and there's a nice deck out back. House is very clean.

Super quiet and well-stocked

We enjoyed our stay. The kitchen was very well-stocked. Loved the view out back. The binder mentioned laundry but there was no washer or dryer that we could see. The bed was too firm for our taste and we like firm beds. The location was great and super quiet.
