Charming Cape Cod close to downtown Harrisburg

Charming cape cod on a quiet, dead end street. Fully furnished 1500 sq/ft house with 3 bedrooms (1K, 1Q, 1T) 2 baths (one stand up shower and one full bathtub shower) and well-equipped kitchen. The backyard is fenced. House broken, well-trained dogs are permitted (please notify me on booking).

There is high speed WiFi throughout the house and a large television with xfinity cable and Hulu.

Local restaurants and coffee shop within 1 mile, an easy walk through the borough neighborhood.

5 minutes to downtown Harrisburg and <30 minutes to Hershey or Gettysburg (see my local guide in the listing).

Perfect Home for Family Visit

This comfortable home was just perfect for my daughter and me, occasionally joined by a cousin, for our visit from Texas for the annual Family Pig Roast - and spending time with family and friends in the area.

Nice place

This was a really nice place. The only reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 was that we did not have access to a washer or dryer because we just stayed a week. Other then that it was a lovely place and Abby was very nice.

Nice Stay

We came to the area for a car show in Carlisle. While there we visited Hershey and Gettysburg. The house was a great location for all of the attractions in the area. House was clean and hosts were responsive to questions. The pictures of the kitchen don't accurately reflect the layout of what was there, perhaps it has been remodeled and updated pictures have not been uploaded. Otherwise all was as advertised and we had an enjoyable stay.

Great place!

Great place to stay. We loved it. The only complaint we had was the accessibility of the outside garbage and recycling cans. They were hard to get to through the mud and mulched beds. But other than that — it was great!

Excellent home. Very comfortable.

House was really nice and convenient to the Outdoor Show where our company was displaying our products. Abby was very responsive to questions which is great. I also own a VRBO so I know how much work it takes. We must have missed the part of the listing that says there is no access to a washer/dryer unless you are renting for long-term...and it was inconvenient to have to use a laundromat since our rental was for 11 days...but we made it work. Awesome place and would recommend for short stays for sure!

Great location!!!

This was the perfect location for us to visit our sister and her new baby! The Pennsylvania Bakery was literally at the end of the street. We enjoyed that a little too much. The beds were comfy and the house was cozy.

Beautiful cozy home exactly as listed! Abigail responds very quickly and provides any necessary information. Home was beautiful and well equipped for our stay. I would recommend this Host and will look for this property again when visiting family in PA!

In town for a horse show and the property and property manager couldn’t have been better. A tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of work. Highly recommend!

Great rental near Harrisburg

Our stay was enjoyable in every way! The house was very clean, comfortable and cozy. The kitchen was fully equipped and the notebook on the house and area were very informative. The neighborhood is quiet and very nice for walking. It is close to Camp Hill and Harrisburg. The owner was very responsive and answered every question promptly. We highly recommend this property and will definitely stay there again..

Our family had an extended stay here, and this became our home away from home. The property is updated, secure, very well maintained and more than fully equipped.

great place, great stay. Perfect for family in great area

We arrived check in easy, place as advertised. walking distance to Market Street. Watch out for Penn Bakery if weight loss a challenge. Best bakery I have seen in years. Try the Coconut Milk cake, you will be hooked . McDonald's close if quick breakfast. Quiet back yard sunny and inviting. kitchen well stocked. two eating areas upstairs a delight. Well maintained with plants galore. Art work fun and the book selection fun. A bottle of wine awaited us. 7 to 10 minute drive to Capital building in Harrisburg. Try Ted's pub on 2nd for great bar food....not good but great. Burger Yum burger and 🍟 tops. less than 50 minutes to Gettysburg and Amish country less than an hour. and airport 20 minutes if you drive slow. safe, safe quiet neighborhood. Again nothing but good for review.
