Cozy, private, cabin on a quiet lake.

Beautiful 2 bedroom 1 bath cabin, with bunk beds a trundle a queen bed and a sofa bed. On almost an acre with 170' of private lake front and a wooded lot, you will feel like your living in the trees. Located on the very quiet and very beautiful Lake Wandawega. Its a 120 acre quite lake. Perfect for kayaking, fishing, doing a little swimming, and relaxing. . Private beach with pier, fire pit (must bring your own firewood) and seating. If the water is high enough there is a nice swimming area off the beach, if the water is low this season there may be some weeds you will have to swim with. There are two tandem kayaks, and a sixteen foot canoe (life jackets from infant to XXL provided). In the winter you can ice fish, snow mobile and an use the amazing sledding hill right in your backyard. The cabin has been completely updated in 2020. Bedding and towels are provided, beach towels are not provided. Fully equipped eat in kitchen. 10 minutes from Walworth County Fairgrounds, 15 minutes from Lake Geneva, 15 minutes from Alpine. There are local bars, breweries and wineries. Something to do for everyone. Or relax in your peaceful surroundings and do nothing at all. Pets are welcome, but must remain leashed at all times when outside. There are 2 exterior security cameras on the property.

It was quiet and secluded. You can go to the back yard and not be disturbed by the outside world. Plenty of room for kids and dogs to run and play.

Best sunsets, beautiful home and accomodations. Loved being able to bring our pets too. Hosts were excellent with cimmunication. The beach was so peaceful and fun too.

Amazing Time With Family

We rented this VRBO for time with our family and it as amazing. The beach is absolutely perfect for small children and it is no lie that the sunsets are INCREDIBLE. The only complaint we had is that the beds are uncomfortable, and there wasn’t a washer or dryer. Besides that, it was absolutely lovely.

Restful Stay with Pups

Our group ranged in age from 16-91 and 2 dogs. Everyone had a wonderful time. We kayaked, fished, waded in the water and took long walks. Just what we needed! The cabin is beautiful and very comfortable. We enjoyed nightly campfires. We also had a nice afternoon in Lake Geneva, only 18 minutes away. Highly reccomend!

Perfect Weekend Getaway

My husband and I, plus our dog took a kid free weekend. So glad we booked here. The house itself is the cutest. It was so relaxing by the lake and even an enjoyed a little fire on the back patio! It was our puppy’s first vacation and he definitely enjoyed himself too! Can’t wait to come back and bring the kids!!

Peaceful retreat

We had a lovely time at this cozy home. Home was very clean but outdoor spaces were dirty and full of leaves and sand. Communication was challenging when we wanted to modify our stay, but it got resolved a few days later. The front door sticks badly so it was a challenge when coming and going. Enjoyed the water activities after emptying out the water from the kayaks and canoe. We were able to enjoy meals though a few niceties would have made things easier - had to go buy our own condiments, soap and shampoo and wash dishes every meal because there were only 4 plates. Bc

Relaxing getaway

Comfortable place to stay that had everything we needed. We enjoyed kayaking, canoeing, swimming, and fishing, fires and s'mores, and an overall relaxing time away. Fabulous place to stay!

Perfection except one weird thing.

The place was perfect. Exactly how it was described and pictures. However, there was a weird issue that happened on Sunday. A rand jeep showed up parked in the yard and was ealking in the backyard. Told my husband that they knew the owner and was going fishing. Yes this was on our last day there, however is was at least 3 whole hours before checkout time. We felt very odd and put in a weird spot. It would have been cool if we just would have maybe gotten a heads up or anything. But to have 2 men randomly show up and be on the property.. not so private like described.

Girls weekend

My mom and my two sisters and I just wanted to get away from the city and relax together with minimal running around. This was the perfect place for us it was super clean and well stocked and just very comfortable with a beautiful view. Thank you so much for a wonderful and enjoyable weekend we will be back

Wonderful weekend at Wanda

We had 3 children, ages 2 and under, and could not have asked for a better getaway! The place was clean and had new appliances. The beach on the property was a perfect size for the kids to play (and enough fish to keep me busy casting). Will definitely return!

Cute and Cozy

Wonderful stay at the cottage - the listing very well represents what to expect for your stay. The updates and general layout of the cottage make it feel roomier than the actual square footage. Our dog loved swimming in the lake, I spent a lot of time in the hammock and having both a lake side fire pit and a gas pit on the porch was great.

Quiet lake!

Highly recommend this place! Such a cute cabin! We traveled with our 3 year old. The beach was perfect!! We enjoyed the beach, kayaks, and breakfast in the nook overlooking the lake! Thanks for a great stay!!
