Cozy private cabin on a quiet lake with your own beach.

Beautiful 2 bedroom 1 bath cabin. On almost an acre with 170' of private lake front and a wooded lot, you will feel like your living in the trees. Walk the secrete trail in the woods down to your very own sandy beach with pier, fire pit (must bring your own firewood) and seating. The beach has a small shallow sandy swim area good to float and cool off in. Located on the very quiet and very beautiful Lake Wandawega. Its a 120 acre quite lake. Perfect for kayaking, fishing, doing a little swimming, and relaxing. There are two tandem kayaks, and a sixteen foot canoe (life jackets from infant to XXL provided). In the winter you can ice fish, snow mobile and an use the amazing sledding hill right in your backyard. Bedding and towels are provided, beach towels are not provided. Fully equipped eat in kitchen. 10 minutes from Walworth County Fairgrounds, 15 minutes from Lake Geneva, 15 minutes from Alpine, 20 from Kettle Moraine. There are local bars, breweries and wineries. Something to do for everyone. Or relax in your peaceful surroundings and do nothing at all. Pets are welcome, but must remain leashed at all times when outside. There are 2 exterior security cameras on the property.

It was quiet and secluded. You can go to the back yard and not be disturbed by the outside world. Plenty of room for kids and dogs to run and play.

Relaxing getaway

Comfortable place to stay that had everything we needed. We enjoyed kayaking, canoeing, swimming, and fishing, fires and s'mores, and an overall relaxing time away. Fabulous place to stay!

Perfect Weekend Getaway

My husband and I, plus our dog took a kid free weekend. So glad we booked here. The house itself is the cutest. It was so relaxing by the lake and even an enjoyed a little fire on the back patio! It was our puppy’s first vacation and he definitely enjoyed himself too! Can’t wait to come back and bring the kids!!

Lake House

Second time back and still amazing. Great place to unplug. Quiet. Peaceful. Kids were able to swim and kayak every day. Even the dog enjoyed it!

Restful Stay with Pups

Our group ranged in age from 16-91 and 2 dogs. Everyone had a wonderful time. We kayaked, fished, waded in the water and took long walks. Just what we needed! The cabin is beautiful and very comfortable. We enjoyed nightly campfires. We also had a nice afternoon in Lake Geneva, only 18 minutes away. Highly reccomend!

Quiet lake!

Highly recommend this place! Such a cute cabin! We traveled with our 3 year old. The beach was perfect!! We enjoyed the beach, kayaks, and breakfast in the nook overlooking the lake! Thanks for a great stay!!

Girls weekend

My mom and my two sisters and I just wanted to get away from the city and relax together with minimal running around. This was the perfect place for us it was super clean and well stocked and just very comfortable with a beautiful view. Thank you so much for a wonderful and enjoyable weekend we will be back

Wonderful weekend at Wanda

We had 3 children, ages 2 and under, and could not have asked for a better getaway! The place was clean and had new appliances. The beach on the property was a perfect size for the kids to play (and enough fish to keep me busy casting). Will definitely return!

Beautiful cabin on a quiet lake

Beautifl well-maintained cabin on a quiet lake. We have 2 dogs that live to swim and it was erfexr for them. We caught lots of small fish off the dock. Very relaxing and all the comforts of home. Highly recommend this property and we hope to return next summer for more fun and sun on the lake.

Cute and Cozy

Wonderful stay at the cottage - the listing very well represents what to expect for your stay. The updates and general layout of the cottage make it feel roomier than the actual square footage. Our dog loved swimming in the lake, I spent a lot of time in the hammock and having both a lake side fire pit and a gas pit on the porch was great.

Super Cute Cottage

This rental property exceeded my expectations. The inside is very well maintained and beautifully renovated, the kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to cook your own meals and make your coffee in the morning. The beds are very comfortable and the owner was responsive to our questions. Also, the proximity to the spring-fed lake couldn't be any better. I hope to come back here in the summer to enjoy the lake and the outdoor space.

Hidden treasure

This property offers up the quintessential Wisconsin lake cottage experience. It combines an incredible setting for kids to fish, swim, run, and boat themselves until they're exhausted with a quiet, private beachfront to capture the panoramic view of the sunset at day's end. Located a short drive from the Lake Geneva area, it gives one an opportunity to sample the height of tourist season action, should one prefer a bit of that. We've enjoyed two stays and would definitely stay again.

Great peaceful lake getaway

We at a lovely time! The house is very quaint and peaceful. We loved fishing off of the dock and using the kayaks. It’s not the best for swimming at all because it is full of seaweed but the property is beautiful. We used the fire pit and had a very relaxing time. The location is very close to Lake Geneva so we also enjoyed being out of the hustle and bustle but close enough to enjoy the many things that Lake Geneva offers.

Getaway to Wisconsin

Overall, we loved the house and location. The fishing dock was well used by my adult son, and we enjoyed building a fire at night. We cooked many meals, and found the kitchen to be well appointed. The view was unreal! We did encounter some frustration with the lock box as we had a hard time locating it.
