Small but cute

The rental was a little smaller than we realized. There were a few strange looking stains on the couch (we purchased a sheet to put over the couch in order to sit). You will need to take extra mirrors if you have more than one female..... the only mirror in the condo was a medicine cabinet in the bathroom. Also if you plan to cook on the stove the front left burner doesn’t work..... and the amount of dishes is minimal..... other than those really small things it was an overall nice stay.

Pleased beyond

Loved the neighborhood and all the renos going on around it. The area is quiet and in the process of remaking itself. Suggest eating at Jim's which is about 10 mins away.

Nice, but...

I don't remember seeing that it was on 2nd floor. Property is nice but it's not convenient to anything and there is a gentlemen's club down on the corner. Our trash can outside was already full when we arrived. Needed more towels for 3 people staying a week. Not a far drive to Lackland AFB which was nice. Apartment is clean and decorated nice. There was a board in the living room window which seemed odd unless it was to keep the riff raff out. The attic window was hanging out. The couch needed a lint roller or vacuumed. We didn't use the stove but the drip pans were dirty...fridge leaked water on the top shelf. There was a cockroach in the shower on our last day.

Central located and clean stay

Check in process was easy! Showed up to a clean pre cooled apartment it was nice after a 7hr drive. Beds were clean and crisply folded. There are 4 total apartments so you do hear some noise from other occupants but nothing to ruin the stay. Property was lit up by bright LED lights and had cameras. Overall it’s a great place, very comfortable, clean and in a great location to hit all the local attractions!

I wish I could give Dan's place a higher rate because he himself was a great host - extremely responsive and very nice. We had to change our travel dates and he was very flexible and courteous. He gave us very structured info prior to our arrival which helped a lot. Thank you very much again, Dan! The place itself was okay but we partially disagree with the other reviews. From our point of view, it could have been a little cleaner and a little more convenient. The bedrooms are very small but this was fine with us. The beds were a little too soft but this is a question of tase. The decoration is nice though. Still okay for a couple of days.

Cute, clean and convenient!

Came to attend a graduation at Lackland AFB and decided to rent this 2 bedroom one bathroom apartment which was less than 20 minutes from the base, the airport and the River Walk area of downtown San Antonio. The unit had everything we needed in the kitchen, ample towels, shower soaps and shampoo and even a hair dryer. Outside was ample parking off the street.

House is cute, clean and comfortable!

The house is in a cute neighborhood. It was cozy and comfortable for what we needed (2 people). It seems like the property was newer because it was very clean and had updated fixtures. House was close within everything we wanted to do (site seeing, restaurants, shopping, etc). Very happy with our stay!

Clean and fresh.

We arrived very impressed and glad we chose 1023 W. Woodlawn. Spotless, fresh and welcoming. My son graduated from BMT and it was so nice to bring him back to hang out, take a nice long shower, relax, eat and even toss the frisbee we brought in the large backyard area. Also, very convenient to SAT and Lackland. We felt safe and welcome here and would definitely rent again.
