Bright and spacious 5 bedroom home with fenced in back yard, hot tub, private pool, fire pit and 3.5 bathrooms.
Comfortable beds and fully stocked kitchen. This is a newer home, 2 tv areas, one on main floor one in basement. Two bedrooms up, one on main floor and 2 in basement.
Beautiful hilly walks to the lake, quiet and off the beaten path 10 minute walk to private beach on Lake Michigan and short drive or bike ride to downtown New Buffalo! Walking distance to Grand Beach golf club. Golf cart available to rent for the week. Ping pong table and darts in basement along with wash machine and dryer.

The house was perfect for a girls trip for wine tasting. The host was readily available with and questions and was very accommodating. Would definitely stay here again, with friends or family!

Michiana trip

This property was in a great location and easy to find.& the house was very accommodating for my family! The pool was Awesome on the hot summer days and on the cooler days the Hot tub was also a big hit w/ the family! We rented the golf cart from the family and did some exploring around the area also which was a great addition to our trip. We loved the area and would definitely return for future trips!

Great time with family!

Our family had a great time make memories! We had plenty of room for all 10 of us. The pool was the highlight of house for the kids! The check-in process was very easy and went smoothly. The kitchen is stocked with the kitchen essentials for eating and cooking.

This was our second year renting this great house with our kids and grandkids. We enjoyed it so much last year that we decided to book it again this year. This comfortable, spacious home is nestled in a quiet neighborhood within blocks of a lovely private beach. Excellent communication with our host. She was immediately responsive to any questions.

Relaxing pool, hot tub and fire pit. Golf cart to private beach and around area was fun. Our family had a great time. Communication with owner was great.

Great week!

Beautiful, comfortable home with spectacular outdoor area. Great heated pool, hot tub, fire pit. we thoroughly enjoyed all even when the weather got cool. Nice, responsive owners. Close to everything. Plenty of room for all 10 of us. Would stay again

The outdoor area is nice

We very much enjoyed the sunroom, yard, hot tub and pool. Everything needed a good scrub on our arrival and tho we were told someone would be out to clean the pool and hot tub, that never happened. This could be a 5 star property but it needs to be cleaner and better cared for overall

Perfect getaway weekend

The house was perfect for a getaway weekend with friends. The house is in a quiet neighborhood with a nice, scenic walk to the beach. We enjoyed the hot tub and the big backyard! The house had a few different areas for hanging out as well. The upstairs was a nice open concept and the basement den with the large TV and sound bar would be perfect for a movie night. We were very comfortable during our stay!

Best week making family memories!

My husband & I rented Casa Lago to share with our adult kids, their spouse/significant other and our 3 & 5 year old grandsons. The house was perfectly suited for our group! I was typically the first one up and enjoyed my coffee in the serenity of the lovely sunroom. As others woke up, it became our morning gathering space to plan our day. The entire house was very well appointed with comfortable beds, kitchen supplies, games and pool toys. I'm so glad we opted for a house with a pool because there were several days that the lake was too rough for swimming. One of our daughters was a life guard/pool manager and noticed that the water level on the pool was a little low and the water was a little cloudy. When I contacted our host, she responded within minutes and had the pool guy there within an hour. He addressed the issue and we enjoyed a pristine crystal clear pool the rest of the week. The outdoor shower is a brilliant asset! We were able to rinse off beach sand really well before entering the house or the pool. Having spent many years vacationing in Harbor Country, the short walk to the beach brought back memories of when I was a kid and our kids were kids. The golf cart was a great convenience and a big hit with our grandsons. Sunset Beach is small, quaint, but never really crowded and the sunsets did not disappoint! The shoreline is a little rocky so I would recommend good water shoes. We highly recommend Casa Lago and hope we can return!

Great home for families

The property was very good. I think the group that rented the place before we arrived was not exactly the cleanest. We had to do some spot cleaning when we arrived especially in the refrigerator. The hot tub also still had some sand in it but the pool service came and cleaned that the same day we arrived. The owner was easy to reach by text and she was very responsive. So that helped. One thing that we know but others first should be aware of is the beaches near here are very nice but hard to get a large family too. There is virtually no parking anywhere near the beaches unless you want to travel quite a bit to the bigger public beaches. So we had to pack everything into the car, drop off , towels, drinks, chairs, etc.,etc. and then someone had to drive the car back to the house and either walk back to the beach or bike back. Then reverse that when leaving. And the closer private beach to this home has larger rocks right off the shoreline. So it is a little tough on your feet when trying to enter the water. I would still recommend staying here as I just think we were unfortunate in that we felt the previous renters just weren't the best. As far as the payment, make sure you understand how the damage fee works It was a little confusing as the rental agreement stated there was a deposit but the VRBO payment didn't show one. The owner said she was going to modify the rental agreement to match with the VRBO payment details.

Summer vacation

The house and property are great. We played whiffle ball in the front yard, swam in the pool in the backyard, had a great fire in the fire pit and had s’mores, and used the golf cart to explore the neighborhood, go to the beach, and watch beautiful sunsets.

Great time!

The property was perfect for our group of family. The house had everything you needed. It was close to wineries, breweries and the beach. It seems like a lot of the nearby beaches were closed, but maybe because it was off season. We did drive to New Buffalo beach and it was gorgeous! The hot tub and ping pong table were our favorites at the house. I definitely would go back again!

Spacious home

We had an excellent time at this property and enjoyed all the amenities. The communication was excellent with the owner and she responded in a timely manner to any questions. One thing that should be noted is that if you have any pet allergies, you should be aware that the owner does have a dog and obviously, when they stay there, the dog does too.

Relaxing week in Michigan!

We had 7 adults from 21- 80 andHouse was very clean and had everything we needed. Owner was very responsive. Close to restaurants and shopping. The only recommendation would be to have a dehumidifier in basement. We had to drive to beach as there was construction on the nearby stairs but overall not an issue. Would highly recommend to others.

Lots of Funtime for all

Our stay in new Buffalo Michigan was great. We enjoyed the new patio and ate many of our meals outside. We all enjoyed the hot tub immensely. The sunroom was a great addition we played games and just enjoyed sitting around. The big TV in the living room was great for watching movies and bringing up some YouTube dancing which is a little grandkids thoroughly enjoyed. And then of course there are the beaches, we were on three different beaches enjoyed them all for various reasons. Kristen made it easy to have such a fun time.
