Beautiful contemporary stunning lakefront home w/Hot Tub/Kayaks/ Paddle Boards/Pedal Boat, that was previously featured on the SML Charity Home Tour. This spacious 5,660 sq ft home is filled with natural light and breathtaking views from the majestic walls of windows. The exquisite gourmet kitchen, every chef's dream w/stainless steel appliances, gorgeous island & custom cabinets. With the three floor layout of this home your family and friends will have plenty of room to spread out. The first floor boasts an open floor plan with wall of windows overlooking the lake and includes the kitchen, dining room, 2 living room areas, 65 inch TV, 1 full bath and 1 sleeping area with a Queen. The second floor has 2 full bathrooms, 3 large bedrooms - 2 with views of the water (both with King beds) including the large master suite and full bathroom, the 3rd upstairs bedroom has a Queen bed. The bottom floor has a sectional TV area (with 75" TV) and ping pong table area, and 1 full bathroom. The bottom floor also includes 2 sleeping areas - 1 with Queen bed, and another with 1 Queen, 1 Full and twin bunk beds. Beautiful exterior spaces include an expansive deck, covered patio, FLAT LOT, and boat dock bar area, all in a protected cove across from the SML State Park. All the lake amenities that you could ask for are included: numerous water toys - 2 adult kayaks, 2 children kayaks (max. 130 lbs), 2 paddle boards, 4 person pedal boat, and a large 17 feet X 6 feet water mat.

We spent the week at this house and had a fantastic experience. The home was spacious enough for our entire family, offering plenty of areas to gather. The deck provided ample space for dining while enjoying the view of the lake. The owner has thoughtfully stocked the house with all the essentials. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals. Having rented homes at Smith Mountain for the past five years, this property is one of the most well-appointed, offering everything a large family could need. The short walk to the dock was a definite plus, and the outdoor amenities were perfect. While we were initially nervous about the white furniture with the kids, we made the second living room (the one without a TV) an adults-only space. The white carpet was not ideal for the kids but we made it work. The main-level office was made into a bedroom, which was spacious enough to accommodate our needs, though it lacked storage for clothing. The bathroom on that level, located on the opposite side of the house, was a bit inconvenient, but again no set up is perfect. The bottom floor was fantastic, and a great place to play all the games provided. One of our favorite features was the fire pit—we took full advantage of it it with a fun-filled s’mores night.Throughout our stay, the owner was highly responsive. Overall, it was a wonderful home that provided us with a memorable week, and we would certainly return.

Perfect House!

This house is beautiful, plenty of space for multiple families. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with all of the essentials. We would definitely rent again!

Annual Anastasio Family Vacation

We had a fabulous time. We rented a pontoon boat with the water toys that were there, we spent a lot of time in the water, even the baby. The house was clean and with enough bedrooms for us all. The bathroom situation is a little weird in their placement and not what we are used to however it all worked out in the end. We will definately be back. Pleae note: this is the first time we rented with VRBO where the homeowner required the full payment one year in advance and I didn't see anything in the listing so I was very surprised, thankfully I don't keep balances on my credit cards so their was roo for the full amount.

Great family vacation

We had a great time at the lake house. Three generations of family and everyone loved it. The house had lots of space so everyone could do their own thing but also large spaces for everyone to be together. The downstairs bar (and extra full size fridge) was great for winding down. We even used the pool table for puzzles - just high enough so the little one couldn't get her hands on it! We spent hours at the boat house, dock and in the lake. lots of life jackets for all sizes and ages. We used the paddle boards and kayaks every day during our stay as well as just floating on the raft. There was also lots of baby/infant items at the house so we didn't need to bring them (strollers, high chair, gates, etc.) Tom was easy to communicate with and the check in/out process was smooth. Look forward to planning our next trip here!

Family Graduation Retreat

Trying to find 6 hotel rooms for the family to see VT graduation was impossible. While a little far from Blacksburg, this home was wonderful. Everything we needed was provided. The setting was incredible, sunrise over the lake is spectacular. I would definitely recommend staying at this home especially if you are a large extended family as we are. We had 2 sets of 3 generations and everyone was comfortable. It was a fantastic weekend thank you.

perfect rental for a large group!

My group had a wonderful stay, family and friends ranging from 2-80 all enjoyed themselves. The house is large enough so that everyone has space and doesn’t feel cramped. We loved relaxing in the hot tub, sitting on the dock, and around the fire pit, and playing ping pong. It was so easy to communicate with the owner on any questions we had.

Wonderful Place! You will enjoy it very much!

We stayed Wednesday to Saturday over the Thanksgiving Holiday. The house was a blessing to all of us.There were 14 of us family & friends. We all had plenty of room. There was table space for all of us when eating. The kayaks & boats were a lot of fun as was the hot tub. We'd definitely stay here again if we get down to the area.

Fantastic Stay on the Water at Smith Mountain Lake.

This house is incredible! We had 10 adults in our group and this house had everything we needed. The Driveway fits 6 cars. The house has 3 areas to hang out and you have a great view of the lake. Great deck off main level is the length of the house and had plenty of tables/seats. The Patio below the deck is also spacious and has plenty of seating. The washer and dryer worked great, and there was already laundry detergent in the house. The bathrooms all had soap and shampoo. The Kitchen had everything a family needs. These owners think of everything down to nightlights in every room. We used the Fire pit multiple times. Wood and lighter fluid was supplied!! The Hot tub was very clean and was used multiple times. We spent A LOT of time at the dock. There is a fridge to keep drinks cold. We used the kayaks and paddle boards. There were plenty of life jackets. The huge floating mat was a lot of fun. Also, there were blow up water toys and 2 pumps. We fished from the dock and caught bass, perch, bluegill, and catfish. There were fishing nets in the dock storage area. We rented our boat from Bridgewater Marina at the state park so it was only a short ride to pick it up and drive back to the dock. We got Bait from Captains Quarters. We hired a Fishing guide one day “the Fat Shad” (his name is Dakota). 5 people and we caught 14 stripers. Highly recommend him. Food lion is 8 miles away. Owner checked in on us throughout the week. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND this house.

Wonderful Property

Our family (10) had an amazing time. When we weren’t on our boat we spent time on the dock. Water was 10 ft off the ladder so perfect for swimming/relaxing in the inflatables. Deck is partially covered so whether you like sun or shade you can still enjoy sitting outside; next to the water. Inside home was clean, nicely furnished, fully stocked kitchen and plenty of room for our family. This home will not disappoint and would highly recommend.

Best week of our summer!

This property is perfect for our family. It accommodates our extended family of 12 very well. The beds are very comfortable and the house is very clean and spacious. It is well stocked with everything we need and Tom is always quick to respond. We love the yard and always enjoy bonfires in the evening. My family loves the hot tub and our grandkids love running and playing in the spacious yard. Our favorite place is on the dock, with plenty of seating to relax and enjoy the lake. We spend a lot time in the lake and using the paddleboards and kayaks that are available, as well as the new water mat. My grandson loves paddleboarding to the other side of the lake to explore "his Island!" We rent a boat and do a lot of waterskiing and tubing, and we also rent jet skis. It's the perfect place for a family vacation! We did not want to leave! This was our second year, and we look forward to coming back next year!

Family Christmas

The house accommodated for the amount of people we needed and was a great layout for a family with adults and young children. The children were able to play on the bottom floor without disturbing the adults having conversation on the main floor. The views were wonderful if the house. The owners were very responsive and easy to deal with. I have no complaints. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great property at SML

This house was perfect for our family. Well stocked and very clean and comfortable. Many bedrooms with room to spread out. The dock was spacious with both shade and sun areas with easy lake access. Also a shallow area in the lake for the little ones to play in. A great vacation spot that I highly recommend!

Nice short walk to dock

This home was great. It was clean and spacious. The kitchen was well stocked. Nice walk to dock especially for my handicapped father. The kids loved the paddle boards, kayaks and HOT TUB. This was our 7th trip to SML and we would rent this house again.

Family summer fun!

The house was perfect for our annual family reunion & the setting is beautiful. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you might need for making meals. Downstairs there is a ping pong table & many other games to play. However the outdoors is where most of the fun happened. The boat dock housed kayaks, standup boards, kids size kayaks, life jackets for all sizes & lots of floats. We spent most of our day in the lake that is beautiful & clean. After dinner we made s’mores around the fire pit. My crew had such a good time we’re thinking about going back next year. Bonus, the owner was very responsive.

Peaceful Paradise

We had 9 adults with more than enough room. The outdoor property was great with just a gentle slope with everything from kayaks, pedal boat, stand up board, slip for our pontoon boat rental, fire pit, refrigerator in boathouse, etc. We used everything. Between our pontoon boat and.all the water toys, we never used our cars all week except to go to the store or dinner a couple times. We even took our boat to the Bridgewater Plaza. None of us had ever rented a place through VRBO with everything you’d need in the kitchen as this property had. Tom was excellent to communicate with. He answered any questions we had extremely quickly. The cove was extremely quiet, which is great if you have small children. Although the ice cream boat did come by a couple times at dinner time! Smith Mountain Lake is beautiful if you love being out on the water.

Great set up for a large family gathering

Great location right on the lake. Beautiful views (even though it was raining during our stay). It was the perfect set up for our college graduation celebration. The house is spacious and the "younger crowd" enjoyed the separate living area downstairs. We also appreciated how well stocked the house was for food prep and serving (including the little things such as spices, cooking/olive oil, etc.) and necessities of living (trash bags, dish soaps). Online pictures are a great representation of the house, no hidden surprises. Overall a great stay!

Fabulous all around!

My girlfriends and I had a wonderful stay at Tom's house. He was prompt to communicate and gave us recommendations for food and entertainment. FYI there are NO pizza delivery options at the Lake. Pick up is easily available, however. We stopped by for only 2 nights during Virginia Historic Garden Week. (Which was fabulous in Martinsville, Danville and Roanoke!) Great location, impeccable property, comfy beds, plenty of room for everyone (there was only 6 of us, but the house is large enough to at least double that!). Anything you would need was stocked in the house including coffee, fully stocked kitchen, kayaks and outdoor toys, we loved the amazing fire pit stocked with plenty of wood and the hatchet, too! Great outdoor furniture and spaces both on the deck, in the yard and on the dock. We did not use the hot-tub, but it is an added plus for sure. Beautiful yard, quiet neighborhood. I can't say enough about this home. So spacious, too! We hired a boat captain, Captain Tommy of Wicked Striper fishing guides and he was the icing on the cake! He picked us up on the dock and gave us a tour of the lake, took all our requests for sights to see or just floating near the dam. (We did not fish, but if you do, he knows his stuff and has all the gear!). Can't recommend Tommy enough (434)610-3255. We will definitely be back to enjoy this house again. Book it now, you won't regret anything about it.

Girls Getaway

This was the most fabulous stay ever! The property exceeded our expectations. The home is beautiful and the setting was so relaxing! We didn't want to leave! Tom communicated during the entire process, and was so helpful. We'll definitely stay at this property again in the future.

Great house and property

The house was very spacious, well furnished and well equipped. Our family loved playing on the lawn, sitting by the fire pit in the evening and playing on the water with the paddle boards, kayaks and paddle boat included with the house. Very peaceful just sitting and relaxing down by the water. Great vacation!

Beautiful residence

Beautiful, immaculate home with everything you need. I’ve rented many mountain homes and this was the best. Tom, the owner, gives you his cell number and is there if anything arises. The fire pit was our favorite. We will carry the memories from our week at this splendid mountain home for many years to come.

Great Girls Weekend Getaway

Our reunion of 7 friends stayed at this house for a fall weekend getaway. The house had plenty of space and bathrooms to accommodate 7 ladies. The kitchen was well-equipped. Both the large dining room table and big kitchen table provided two locations to gather and enjoy a meal. The views of the lake are stunning from the house's deck and upstairs rooms. The host responded promptly to text messages.

The owners were full time residents of Smith Mountain Lake in the 1990's and 2000's, when a job relocation forced them to leave the area (temporarily, we'll definitely be back!). The home location was chosen as the perfect setting with a flat lot in a protected cove ideal for swimming, and directly across from the Smith Mountain Lake State Park.
