THINGS TO KNOW
There is a 40 lb weight limit for dogs. Restricted breeds include Pit Bulls, Staffordshire Terriers, German Shepherds, Rottweilers, Presa Canarios, Chow, Mastiffs, Doberman Pinschers, Akita, Wolf hybrids, Cane Corso, Great Danes, Alaskan Malamutes, Boxers, Huskies, American Bulldogs, Mini Bullies, and Belgian Malinois. This includes mixes of these breeds as well.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.

Best hotel when you go to Myrtle Beach

I adore Ocean Park; this is my second reservation there, and they are kind and quick to address issues when you call them. Not to mention, it's a really lovely and reasonably priced location.

Perfect property for my needs

Imagine a hotel room with a kitchenette and that is this property. Functional in all ways. The huge bonus is the view! Very family friendly - including your smaller fur babies! Beautiful stretch of beach too. Great property overall.

Long weekend w the hubs

First time bringing a pet to the beach which we enjoyed thoroughly. Very easy to get to potty spot and she made lots of new friends. My only complaint would be that the kitchen could use a little more dishware and frying pans and utensils and the bathtub did t drain very well.

Great get away

This was our 2nd trip here. In January and July. Best part being able to bring our dog with us and the room being clean. Our room didn’t have coffee pot at first. They were really quick to get us one. We actually ate at a few of the restaurants nearby this time. And food was great. Tony’s pizza , sea captains, and 5 de Mayo Mexican restaurant.

Good choice if you have a pet

I was glad to find this property because we needed to bring our senior dog. It was a great place to stay in that regard. However, for having a kitchen, this unit lacks some basic necessities like a colander, baking sheet, pizza cutter, scissors, etc., which made it difficult to make even the most basic dinner. The unit also needs a really good deep clean. I did find the staff and other guests to be really polite and kind, and it was great to be able to turn in dirty towels and such and get clean ones anytime. I liked that we were right at the beach, with an amazing view, but the actual property location leaves a bit to be desired...seemed a bit sketchy in the surrounding area and there was a shooting a block away our second night. So, overall, while I appreciate being able to bring my dog on vacation with us, I do not believe I would return to this property again.

Great Location. Very Little Service

We stayed at the Ocean Park which is owned by which is owned by Vacasa. The hotel is an older property which has been maintained. The service at the property was terrible. There was no housekeeping services the trash cans around the property were always full and overflowing. The front desk staff was friendly but not very helpful. Over all this property is a tired example of Myrtle Beach. The property needs to step up the service.

No maid service at all Front desk attendants not super friendly Elevators took forever Parking area uncomfortable for larger vehicles People were allowed to shoot fireworks on the beach right outside our window well past midnight despite the signs saying fireworks prohibited

My stay at ocean park resort

I was worried about staying here at first. I mean if they allow dogs how would it smell, would it be run down? Much to my surprise it smelled great and was very well kept. The stove was not outdated like some and everything was very nice. Plus I could see the ocean while laying in bed. The staff was very helpful and kind. I have a service animal and they were SUPER Accommodating. At check in they gave a keychain that held poop bags and some treats. The Furology team was just amazing as well. I did see two cockroaches but I feel that could be at any place.

Right on the beach

Great view. Easy path directly onto beach. Clean beach area with chairs and umbrellas you can reserve. Room was clean beds were fine lots of clean towels. Elevator situation was not great- slow crowded and went out of service during stay. Area was easy drive to all sorts of activities. Good overall place with fair price.

the View keeps me coming back

The outside space and the “VIEW” keeps me coming back. Nothing like waking up to the sounds of the ocean. 10 days was not enough. Love it.

Good trip

We really enjoyed being able to relax and watch movies available in the lobby for rental. Our dog enjoyed her time at Furolology. We hope to be back in the Spring of 22!

Beautiful view

Balcony has much room.. Located in popular area with lots of activities within walking distance. Staff us friendly and work hard If you order pizza food ect to your room, tip them well. These people work hard for you to enjoy your stay and ensure happiness and comfortably be safe. Pet area is well kept up and clean with bags to clean up after your fur babies. Remember, youughy be on vacation but there are those who work hard to make sure it happens. 👍

Pooch friendly, beach access and pools with hot tub. We were on 9th floor with a balcony that had a great ocean view and nice breeze. Beds were very comfortable, bathroom and kitchenette were clean and always had a parking spot in lot for us. Cons:The room looks much bigger in photos, shower pressure was weak, no housekeeping while you stay and no breakfast included at all. For the difference in price to a real hotel/motel it comes out the same. All in all we had a great time and we’re happy to travel with our pooch comfortably

Dog gone home

Thanks for supplying a home away from home for my sister's fur baby. Property was maintained with cleaning products to provide a sanitary facility. I don't own dog, so I was more aware of the doggie overtones. Room was clean, needing a little TLC, fresh coat of paint....bright beachy colors (drapes/decor), etc. I would recommend this hotel it to anyone that owned a dog, but not to a non animal owner or lover.
