Peaceful and convenient

We stayed here for my son’s college graduation. The location is wonderful. You can head into the city to do the fun things and then retreat out to Mud Island to relax. The home had all of the space we needed and the living area was perfect for all of the guests. I would highly recommend and would stay again if we ever go back.

Volleyball weekend

The most important thing is that this rental was spotless. One of the cleanest VRBO places we have ever stayed. Mud Island is definitely the best place to stay if you’re in Memphis. Easy to get everywhere but much safer than lots of parts of the city. There are several places to get quick good food on the island as well. House was perfect. Very comfortable beds great communication.

Great location

An excellent 4 bedroom home on Mud Island in downtown Memphis with great access to green spaces, St. Jude, Le Bonheur and all that downtown Memphis offers.

Great Location

House was very nice, plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. Nice and quiet neighborhood. Master bedroom has a balcony but very dirty outside would have loved to sit and enjoy the view. Wasn’t stocked up with enough toilet paper or paper towels. We had to buy some. When we had a question I contacted Chris but he never responded. Poor communication.Also one of the bedrooms had a TV but no remote couldn’t watch TV in that room.

Great experience

The house was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. Plenty of room for our group of 8. Great location on Harbor Town. Easy check in/out and great communication from the host.

Excellent stay

From booking it to staying was just great, the house is very clean and well taken care of. The beds are so comfortable I slept like a baby I haven’t had rest like that in a long time. Everything you need to cook was there TV’s in all rooms made a difference at night no one complained because they all got to watch whatever they wanted. I would definitely stay there again. The only thing I would add is the wifi was weak for the kids to connect and play their games

Graduation weekend

Wonderful three nights stay convenient for all . Enough space. Nice big couch. All the amenities you need. A wonderful upscale food market nearby. Scenic walking path along the Mississippi River with good views/parking down the road.

Wonderful home

We had our 51st US Navy Vietnam vet reunion with 3 other couples and the house was perfect. The living areas downstairs were very spacious and each couple had their own bedroom. The beds have foam mattresses and were exceptionally comfortable. The house was immaculate and had plenty of towels, large washer and dryer, and outdoor porches and balcony. The location is in a beautiful and safe neighborhood and 5 minutes to downtown Memphis. We had everyone bring a bag chair for extra seating, which worked out perfectly. Chris, the owner, was very responsive to any questions or concerns we had. I had forgotten my contact lenses at the house and contacted Chris the next day and his cleaning ladies Laurie and Ruth had found them and even took the time the next day to meet and return them! Everyone loved staying there and we would definitely book again if we come back in Memphis. Thank you to Chris, Laurie and Ruth for everything

Good space for large group

We were visiting family and the location was prefect. We didn't cook there but it was more than adequate-- good location for us and wonderful neighborhood.

Beautiful home across from the Mississippi

The home was beautiful and in a great location. The neighborhood was quiet and very well kept. Centrally located to many of the attractions within the city. We felt at home.

My Mom's Bucket list "Graceland"

The place was great, location was great. there were (2) things that I would suggest 1. have your cleaning company check the pots and pans(they were dirty) 2. put a rug or matt at the bottom of the stairs, my dad missed the last step and fell( he is ok!!)

Awesome house

We enjoyed our stay very much. Kitchen bar and table were well layed out and I’m open to living room. Beds were nice and we enjoyed our stay. Location was handy.

Fells Like Home.. Away From Home

In a great location with easy access to everything downtown Memphis, walking distance to the Mississippi River as well. Great space for a family or even a couples trip plenty of room to relax and hang out together! Only thorn about the house is no patio furniture we would have loved to been able to sit outside!

So much potential but needs so much TLC

The location of this property is fantastic. The neighborhood is quiet, quaint and incredibly inviting. It’s close to everything and offers a fun neighborhood bar/grill (Tug’s). We were very, very happy with the area. The property itself doesn’t live up to the hype. The main level (dining room, kitchen and living room) is nice and appears to have been recently upgraded. The upstairs, on the other hand, desperately needs some TLC and a good deep cleaning. The carpet leaves your feet black, the walls are scuffed and dirty, the baseboards are disgusting, the showers are moldy and the towels are stained. On certain walls there are nails and no pictures. There aren’t enough towels (yes, we looked for extras in all the closets). The light above the master shower doesn’t work. All in all this place could be amazing but it needs a LOT of work before it gets there. They’re charging way too much for a place that’s “just okay” at best. Also, best of luck getting in touch with anyone. We tried getting in touch with the owner to ask about checking in early (we got into town earlier than expected) and called both numbers multiple times (leaving messages) and didn’t get a call back until the following day. We even tried messaging through the VRBO app and never got a response. There are too many other options to settle for a house that’s not better maintained and communication that’s subpar.
