Rustic with modern amenities. This cottage has over 2 acres of land with 250 feet of river frontage on the beautiful Clam River. Sleeps 11. Includes 8 kayaks, 2 canoes, several inner tubes and firewood. Quiet and serene with nature abundant. Security cameras outdoors on the entire parameter for your safety. Cottage is equipped with everything (maybe more) than a normal home has. This is our 8th year of renting with 100% 5-star reviews, furnished upon request. Satellite internet and Dish Network television are provided. Text Linda at 586/764-9188 for the cottage booklet, which includes over 70 pages of useful information of what's around, what's included, etc. to help you have your best vacation ever!!! Use VBRO to reserve this magical property. No pets.

We loved it so much that we are planning to make it an annual event. It was relaxing when we wanted and adventourous when we wanted. The owners have well thought out activities for all interests. The only thing I would change is to have an upstairs air conditioning unit put in as during these hot Michigan summer days, sleep upstairs is difficult.

Boys Weekend

My 3 adult sons and I stayed for the weekend and the house and property was great, and everything we hoped for. The amenities were as advertised, the kayaking was great, and the river was so clear and clean. Linda was easy to communicate with and Heather and Kyle were very helpful and attentive. We had a great weekend and hope to come back in the future! Thanks.

Great time on the Clam River

Had a great time at the Clam River Haven. Very convenient to have kayaks already there and a trailer. We dropped in no problem and had a blast. Everything worked as expected and just the right amount of seclusion to make it a quiet enjoyable weekend.

Clam River Haven

We had the opertunity to stay at Clam River Haven last weekend. My Niece had a Wedding in Marion. The Property and House was spectacular. Could not have asked for a better accommodation. The Hosts were the Best. Great comunicators and made sure you had everything you needed.

Relaxing

Allowed family to get together in a nice country environment. Lots of great fun things to do. Fishing, Cornhole, 5 MILE hike, kayaking, catching craw fish, bonfire, grilling, golf cart riding, and enjoying the outdoors. House was great. Clean very comfortable quite lodging. Linda and husband were great. They went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Everyone said they wanted to return next year!

Wonderful, relaxing & peaceful!

We had a great stay, and actually wished we would have book the property longer! We arrived late at night, the check in was easy, and worked as described. There was one issue that the owner addressed first thing the next morning. The house is well supplied with toys, the kitchen is stocked with tools, and the location is amazing. The river was clean, and we loved the kayak trip. This location appealed to my entire family, and we will be back.

Clam River Haven

We had a wonderful experience at Clam River Haven! I traveled with a group of 8 people and this was the perfect place to stay! Plenty of room for everyone in this lovely home by the river with everything we needed for a great stay. Linda was great to work with; friendly, accommodating and easy to get a hold of. Beautiful location, lots of games available for entertainment, as well as kayaks and canoes! Would highly recommend.

Summer vacation

We had a great time. Linda is an excellent host. The house, the grounds and the river were all beautiful. Linda and Bruce made sure we had everything we needed. The information booklet was very helpful with regard to: things to do in the area, shopping, etc. Highly recommended for a get away

Ms.Linda was an absolutely amazing host! Her hospitality was great and the house had everything.

The boats, corn hole, horseshoes I totally recommend staying here! The house was very clean and neat when we arrived.
