Reviewer Comments: This small 2 bedroomed house was charming and very conveniently located to walk into the centre of Fredericksburg (shops and restaurants). We'd definitely recommend it to others but I'd suggest it would be more suitable for adults as there were electrical wires (tv etc) hanging down and a small child could injure themselves. Apart from that it was near perfect.

Great place, great location

The house was clean and spacious, with all of the amenities needed. Also had a nice backyard for relaxing outside. Great location -- within town limits, but in a quiet neighborhood. Would definitely stay here again!

Great for girl's weekend!

Stayed here with a girlfriend while in town to celebrate our friend's birthday! Cute house, great location! The ladies at Fredericksburg Escapes were wonderful to work with and so fun to talk to! We will definitely be back!

We loved the location, just 1 block from the downtown. There’s a lot to see downtown and it’s all walkable. I would have loved reading about the history of the house - that’s about my only suggestion.

Quaint and quiet

Check in was easy! The house is in a very quiet neighborhood, despite being only one block off of noisy Main Street. Very good for a weekend stay, and if the weather is nice it’s within walking distance of everything on Main. I would suggest to the owners that washcloths are needed, but other than that we had no other needs that weren’t supplied while there.

It was a quiet spot close to Main St. to land at the end of our busy days with a lovely outdoor spot to have coffee in the morning and hang out at the end of the day. We used the main bedroom for sleeping and used the 2nd bedroom like a dressing room.

Fredericksburg girls weekend

Overall, good experience. The house was clean & the beds were very comfortable. The location is just off Main but a pretty good walking distance from the main shopping area. It was nice and quiet at night & there was convenient & ample parking in the back of the house. The house had everything we needed for just a couple nites (there were 3 of us), but a dishwasher would be a nice addition. The office communication leading up to our stay was very good. Appreciated receiving all the necessary details in advance along with complete check out instructions. Thank you!

Wish I could give more than 3 stars.

This property is exactly as advertised. The location is great however there is an overpowering odor that permeates the house. The only way to describe it is an overall musty smell in the kitchen, living room and bedrooms and the bathroom has a distinct smell of medications or vitamins. It reminded me of grandma’s house. A defuser or two and maybe updating the decor might help with the odor. Overall it was a good place in a quiet neighborhood.
