Welcome to our Little Minnow! Perfect for beachgoers, fishermen, and vacation!

Enjoy your vacation in this cozy little 900 square foot 1 bedroom 1 1/2 bathroom home. Here you will find 1 comfy queen bed in the bedroom and a sofa. The living room offers a full over twin trundle bed and a recliner chair. The kitchen is well equipped, large fenced in backyard, covered back patio, plenty of parking for your vehicles, boats, toys and more! There are plenty of restaurants, stores and shopping within walking distance. Sorry, no animals/livestock or pets of any kind are allowed in the home or on the property.
We offer a pet free home for those who suffer from severe animal allergies so please do not ask to bring your pet. There are plenty of pet friendly rentals and hotels in the area. Looking to play in the sun? Grab your beach ball, flip flops and fishing poles to head over to the flats, Conn Brown Harbor or the ferry that takes you to Port Aransas, all only only minutes away! Don’t forget to visit the city of Rockport to enjoy the beautiful Rockport beach, many restaurants and pubs to choose from as well as fishing! We are also just a hop, skip and a jump away from Corpus Christi where you will also find plenty of beaches, museums, dinning, shopping and lots of history!

You’re sure to find plenty of sun and fun wherever you decide to go!

Love the price and scale of convenience. What I'd focus on if I owned it: 1. Carpet grass the front yard. FlorTAM is an excellent strain for the coast and your annual rainfall profile. 2. Trim the dead wood and low limbs out of the trees. Almost tore the deck lights off my boat. This will let more light in for the grass. 3. Core drill the master bedroom toilet drain through the slab to make it safer. Get it all on the same level. 4. Extend the kitchen out into that back porch for more room and drop a bigger sink. 5. Permeable pavers for the driveway. 6. Thin out the pots and pans. 7. Nag the city to fix the streets. LOL. This little cottage is a good bang for the buck stay! Well equipped kitchen, lots of complimentary coffee, snacks and goodies! Quiet neighborhood. Even the roosters crowing were cool. Lots of shade! All the proper mood colors. Good calming effect! Plenty of time killers for bad weather: Games, puzzles & books. We'll be back for sure. Let us know if you trade stays for fixes and mods.

We LOVED it!!

Little Minnow was very welcoming and inviting. It was a great size for our family, we could tell it was full of love. It has a great roomy backyard with comfortable places to sit, very clean and close to the beaches.

Convenient location

We enjoyed our stay in this cosy, quaint cottage. It is conveniently situated for many of the local fun things to do/see. As bird-watchers, we particularly appreciated its relative proximity to Leonabelle Turner Wildlife Refuge and Charlie’s Pasture. And only four minutes’ drive from the local grocery store. Yet it is quiet and off the beaten track — a peaceful retreat.

Weekend Fishing Trip

Nice little house for a weekend getaway or a week in the sun. The place was just as described. It was very clean, well furnished, in a good location, and was easy to access. My friends and I would definitely stay there again.

Fishin's the Mission

Well done for a small residence on a back street in a neighborhood. It was quiet and peaceful. Clean! Getting to the back of town over the bumpy streets is not in your control. Lee's Hamburgers in Briarcliff actually has a smaller bathroom than this one! LOL.

Great getaway

House was clean, well maintained and comfortable. It was everything I needed for a solo vacation. It would be great for a young family as well… even has games to play. I would choose this place again!

Our little quiet getaway

The check in process was very easy and the house was absolutely adorable. The location was great and near everything that we needed while we were there. Quiet, peaceful neighborhood as well. The owners make sure to give you plenty of household items for use and complimentary coffee and hot chocolate! We felt very comfortable during our stay and will definitely be looking forward to another in the future :)

just right for us

The Little Minnow was just right for us. The lovely back yard and deck were perfect for sitting out in the afternoons and evenings, enjoying the warm weather we were starved for. A bonus was the walking path just half a block away, where we even saw fireflies on our evening strolls.
