Deceiving

The outdoor pool and grounds and the lobby are the only saving graces. The checkin process is ridiculous and the staff are extremely unhelpful. So many rules!! The unit itself is in need of some repairs, paint, and some serious cleaning. Bed is terribly noisy and mattress is quite old. Dishwasher is not even secured to the cabinet. Was tempted to just move to a hotel on several occasions, but our stay was only a few days anyway. The pool is great. Not a great place to stay.

AVOID THIS PROPERTY! !I wish I could share a video with this review. It would show that the whole building was VERY dirty and in poor condition. In our unit, there were no window coverings, a broken toilet seat, an old bed with a mattress that slopes to the center and creaks loudly through the night, only one roll of toilet paper, only one small bar of soap, insects in several rooms, and dirty linens. When we contacted the property manager, he refused to correct these issues and even told us that the lack of privacy (no window coverings) was part of the design. I have pictures and videos of people looking into our room from the sidewalk that was 3 feet outside the window. Even though there was a patio in our unit, the door was broken so you couldn't open it more than 6 inches. When we talked to the manager about it, the manager texted and threatened to charge us more. AVOID THIS PLACE! There are better places nearby.

It was ok

The check in process was not the best. It said on the description that there was a $30 fee for your bracelets so that you can access the pool and other amenities. The $30 got you two bracelets for 2 adults so we thought that would be all we had to pay but we found out while checking in that age 14 and over is considered “adult” and we would need to purchase another pair of bracelets so we were charged another $30 for an extra bracelet for my 14 year old. As for the condo, it wasn’t the worst place but definitely could use some upkeep. The flooring had chunks missing in spots, the bathroom door knob came off every time you opened it from inside the bathroom, it looked like there was mold or something on the air vents, the dishwasher was wobbly and not attached to underneath the counter and was off balance. The TV in the bedroom would turn on, but you couldn’t watch anything on it. The cable box in there did not work. Other than that the place seemed ok. There weren’t any bugs and other than what I mentioned above it was clean. If you are not planning to rent a car or do not have a car of your own with you, this place isn’t very close to be able to walk to much. The broadwalk was about a 40 minute walk from the resort. There is a Walmart nearby that you could easily walk to though. Other than that the only thing near is a gas station and other resorts. The pool and outside area is pretty nice and it was convenient that there was beach access from the resort.

Not family friendly

I will start with the negatives then the positives. The condo had dust in every crevice of the unit. The tiles were cracked, outlets for electric didn’t work, the hallways smelled old. There was a smashed cracker in the hallway from the time we arrived and it was still there when we checked out. I messaged the property manager/owner multiple times during our stay regarding the bucket collecting water in the closet, the outlets that didn’t work and the dust EVERYWHERE. I got no response even to this day. However the amenities were nice and the beach was great but don’t forget your $30 non refundable fob.

Overall

Unit is good but needs some TLC. I feel that the owner needs to spend some money to bring it up to a good standard but overall good. Pros: clean sheets / towels TiVo Beach chairs / umbrella Cooler / kid toys Cons: I hd to fix 2 roll up blinds to be able to go to the balcony. The balcony door weighs a ton and it’s not rolling correct so I was the only one able to open and close it. AC set to a temp I want but does whatever it wants Wear shoes since the floor is travertine and has craters with sharp edges causing me to cut my foot open. Overall I recommend and would stay again
