The host was responsive to pre-stay questions and sent all the relevant local contact information in advance of our stay. The property manager provided needed information for our late arrival so that we could head straight to the unit upon our arrival past office hours. The location is wonderful, with gated access to a beautiful sandy beach that stretches for miles. Both Publix and Walmart are within a short 5-10 minute walk to stock up on supplies, and the Hollywood Beach broadwalk is about a half hour walk to the north. The Holly-go shuttle stops just down the road and is free if you're lucky enough to catch it. The pools are well-maintained and there were always available chairs and loungers. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful when we had questions. Laundry facilities were right on the same floor near the elevators. The fitness room was somewhat lacking in equipment, but wasn't bad for a couple quick workouts while on vacation. The unit itself was clean and functional, but could use some updates. There were adequate dishes for cooking. We did end up purchasing out own dish towels as only one skinny roll of paper towels was there. I bought more and left an almost full roll behind. We did buy additional toilet paper as well as 2 small rolls weren't adequate for a week's stay. Towels were adequate, mismatched, but serviceable. Bedsheets were okay and the bed was comfy. Beach chairs provided. Note that balcony doesn't get sun in late December at all! Nice view.
