Lovely home, spacious, clean. Nicer than photos. Amazing kitchen. The views of the River from the house and shady grounds were wonderful….my family enjoyed fishing on the lighted pier and kayaking in the St Mary's River. Grandsons loved playing in the sand on private beach. Quiet, peaceful setting . Close to interesting places to visit. Enjoyed visiting historic St Mary’s city. The nearby St James deli was a delight Home was very well stocked and appointed. Owners very responsive to questions. I would definitely return!

What a lovely home! Bob and Chuck were very proactive in providing information about their home. The kitchen was extremely well stocked and spacious. We loved the different sitting areas in the house - so much space! I was a bit confused by check in because I didn't realize the owners had sent the entry information several months prior, when I had originally booked our stay. But Bob was helpful in resending it.

We had the BEST family vacation yet! This house was perfect for our family of 4 plus in-laws and a sibling. Everyone had thier own space. So many places on the property to go and relax. The pier was my favorite. We had the best time catching blue crabs, kayaking and enjoying the hot tub. The kitchen was PERFECT to make breakfast for everyone while watching them fish and play outside. Thank you for such a wonderful place to stay.

Our family enjoyed three wonderful nights at this amazing home. One will never tire of the view to the creek from multiple locations in the home. The home is extremely well cared for and appointed and made us feel right at home. The owners could not have been more accommodating and communicative as we booked the home and then again as we neared our stay. We took advantage of the pier by keeping our boat at the home and venturing out into the St. Mary's and Potomac rivers. The kayaks also gave us additional access to the creek and river. We look forward to returning to this little slice of heaven to enjoy the nature and history of the area. Will definitely book this home again in the future.

Absolutely Perfect Waterfront Stay

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful waterfront property. The views were absolutely stunning – peaceful, serene, and perfect for unwinding. The house itself is just as gorgeous as the setting, with beautiful decor throughout and an amazing layout providing lots of space with beautiful views. Everything was spotless and impeccably maintained. The home was fully stocked with everything we needed, from kitchen essentials to very comfortable beds, making our stay seamless and stress-free. It’s clear the owners put great care into every detail.If you're looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway in a truly special place, this is it. We can’t wait to come back!

Perfect

Very clean. Wonderful indoor and outdoor spaces. Open floor plan kitchen with dinning room which was great for gathering. Loved the downstairs space to hang out in while still being able to look out at the water and pier. Beds were comfortable. The owners definitely have paid attention to the details to make for a comfortable stay and were very easy to work and communicate with. Can't wait to stay here again.

Beautiful House on the River

One of the Best!

I have been using VRBO for over 20 years in 5 countries and while all of them have been great, this was one of the best. Very clean, all amenities you could think of, very comfy beds, location was beautiful and nice area for runs/walks. St. James Deli was perfect and make sure you go to HSMC while you are there - an amazing historical archaeological site. Should we return, we will definitely rent this place again.

Long weekend

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The house was in mint condition and had all the amenities we needed. Enjoyed the hot tub, kayaks, the fire pit, and the dock. Great place to spend a relaxing long weekend.

Peaceful Waterfront Getaway

It was a wonderful secluded getaway! We found everything to be very appealing and well stocked. It provided a welcome pet free and smoke free environment. The four bedrooms gave us ample sleeping areas for our family. Having an information binder with user instructions and listings for nearby places of interest was a bonus. The highlights for us included water views from the pier and deck, screened porch, hot tub and fire pit. We recommend it!

Fantastic Property

This property is very clean, well appointed, and well maintained. It is beautiful and right on the water. It truly feels like a home and the owners clearly take pride in it. It is our favorite house for when we come to St, Mary’s. Very convenient to the college as well.

Chesapeake Bay

We visited with three generations of our family. This is a well maintained and functional home. Great amenities and well equipped kitchen. Loved the screened in porch . Plenty of places to enjoy reading a book. The upstairs outdoor porch was a great place to watch during a thunderstorm. The dock was a good fishing spot for some of us.

Lovely home, amazing location

We had a fantastic weekend with college friends at this incredible house. The house was immaculate and very comfortable, very clean. We cooked in the amazing kitchen, and had enough bedrooms so each person could have their own. Bob was available to answer any questions. Our group tries to get together a couple of times a year, and everyone loved the location and wants to come back. Even though it rained most of the weekend, we enjoyed the screened in porch, top deck, and took the kayaks out one day. Thank you for such a wonderful stay.

Great place for a relaxing getaway.

The owner was very responsive and helpful!! Our family of 7, between the ages of 6 - 82, stayed for a week and everyone had a good time. The beach and grass area was perfect for us. The old folks could sit and watch the young folks play in the sand. Our 11 year old granddaughter spend hours on the pier crabbing. The fishing off the pier was good. We enjoyed sitting on the pier in the mornings with our coffee and hearing Revielle and the National Anthem from the military base, as well as, Retreat and Taps in the evenings. The views were great from the balcony, the screen porch and the sun room. The kitchen is well stocked and the house was very clean. We did find that the bath tub was very slick (one of the adults fell but is ok) and the upstairs shower was slick too. We had a great relaxing time it was the vacation we wanted.

Peaceful Oasis

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home. The house is just as listed and better. The home was clean, comfortable and we felt safe in the neighborhood. Bob was a great host. It was a nice surprise to find many essentials that we could use. The view is gorgeous. We hope to come back soon. Thank you.

My family had a wonderful time staying at this property for several days! The accommodations were fantastic! Beautifully updated kitchen and bathroom, and tons of space for our 3 adults and 2 younger kids to spread out and all have their own rooms to sleep in. We will absolutely return!

Exactly what we wanted

This place is absolutely amazing. Came here for a fishing trip with friends and was blown away. Easy access to the water meant every day was spent with maximum time kayaking and fishing. Also had one of the best stocks kitchens of any rental I've used.

Lovely & Relaxing

The lawn & dock near the water was relaxing. There were several seating areas that let us spread out or gather together to chat. Kitchen and upstairs bathrooms were modern and beautiful.
