Excellent stay

Owner responded all our request quickly. All beach accessories were available ( beach chairs, towels, snorkeling gear umbrella , buggy boards ) . Overall it was a very convenient stay close to the beach in Kihei!

This property is perfectly situated and is exactly as advertised in the listing. Mia, the host, provided fresh fruit, snacks and drinks for us upon arrival. The property is beautiful and within walking distance of the beach, shopping and restaurants! I highly recommend!

Great Kihei Vacation

Great Location, just a a block from the beach and few blocks from Kalama Park with the best sunrise and sunset views of the ocean. Make sure to bring tennis rackets as there are tennis courts at the park. The apartment was fully stocked with beach gear and the kitchen was amazing! Mia was also very helpful throughout the whole vacation.

Awesome Place

Loved this place. Owner was awesome. Very clean and super nice. Mia left us fruit and chips and granola bars. She did a great job. Will stay again for sure. Used bikes to go to food trucks but could easily walk there.

Really nice place to relax and settle in!

I was in Maui with my teenage sons and this was a large space for them to move around in, stretch, and we could all cook at the same time together. The host was lovely and responsive when we had questions. Taking a bike ride was really fun along the ocean just from the house. We highly recommend it!

Romantic Respite in a tropical paradise

All around top-tier quality retreat spot from me and my spouse as we finished out our week in Maui. Centrally located in a quiet neighborhood on the top floor of a lovely home and cul de sac. Furnishings and finishes were beautiful and tastefully done. Excellent kitchen appliances and equipment for making tasty meals or smoothies. Patio/exterior setting was especially lovely for evening meals and seeing the evening sky of stars.

We had a fantastic stay!!! I highly recommend this property, it’s so convenient, about a 2 minute walk to the beach, where you can sit and watch the sunrise or sunset. 🏝🌞 Close to lovely eateries and food trucks. About a 20 minute drive from the airport. The host had a wonderful fruit bowl waiting for us, and I have to say it was the best pineapple I have ever eaten 🍍A beautiful patio with lovely plants and flowers to enjoy 🍾🥂The furnishings were also very beautiful. The kitchen has everything you need if you want to cook, the bed was so comfortable and the bathroom shower was so nice and spacious!!! We really were sad to leave! Thank you so much Mia for a wonderful stay!!! 🌺

Kihei property with great location, super close to beach

We spent 7 days in Maui in Mia's property. The living space was spacious for our family of 4. Parking was not an issue. There was a queen air mattress for the kids which they really enjoyed. The kitchen was well stocked with utencils and pots and pans. And we really appreciated the washer/dryer as every trip to the beach required doing laundry after. The location of the house is super convenient. It is a very short walk to the beach and we were able to enjoy many a sunsets. It is also walkable to Foodlands (grocery store) and many a local restaurants. We really enjoyed our trip to Maui and a large part of was due to Mia's hospitality.

Home Away from Home

Feels like home! Place is exactly in the photos and as described. Sooo nice and neat.🤩 My girls and I had a great time. Close to everything you need and in a quiet neighborhood. Mia is a gracious and wonderful host. Definitely recommend this place and would love to come back in the future.🌺

Wonderful studio unit with lovely lanai

This is a well-appointed, well-maintained, spacious studio unit with an exceptionally large and lovely lanai. My wife and I felt like we had plenty of room, and even when our adult son joined for a few days using an inflatable queen bed we didn't feel crowded. Location is great - easy access to everything in Kihei but on a quiet side street. We walked to restaurants, shops and beaches easily. Best of all was the hostess, Mia. She was incredibly responsive and gracious, taking care of requests quickly and completely. Highly recommend this unit for a couple, with an optional +1.

Great place for our stay in Maui!

Mia was a great host - very responsive and attentive throughout our stay. The unit is fully equipped with everything needed for a beach vacation. The kitchen is also fully equipped with pots, pans, cooking utensils, etc. The location is great as well. We had a car as it was easier to get around throughout our stay - would highly recommend. Thanks again Mia!

Enjoyed the accommodations. But didn't know where beach excessories were?

Great overall. However do feel like there should have been a note telling us that the beach gear was outside on the patio in a closed container . Since we had read they had the items we did t bring thi gs with us. Then ended up renting snorkel gear and buying g an umbrella. And the TV is set up as applets so couldn't watch TV. Small loss. Otherwise: great place and great location . Would recommend to others.⁸

Perfect Studio

We booked this unit on fairly short notice, just a week in advance of last-minute vacation. The host Mia was extremely responsive and very helpful with all of our questions. The unit is very well appointed, and as mentioned in the listing, they provide virtually everything you need for a beach vacation, including towels, boogie boards, snorkeling equipment etc etc saving the need to rent any of these items. They even have a set of insulated water bottles to make sure everyone stays hydrated! As for the location, it is a block off of the water and walking distance to shops and restaurants. Great place with a great host - we hope to return in the future!

The location of Honu Hale is very special! Just a quick walk to the night life or "the triangle" as locals call it- here you will find shopping, bars, restaurants and beach activities. You can walk directly through the neighborhood beach park to access the triangle where you will see public tennis courts, basketball courts, fishing spots and playgrounds! It's the perfect location if you're visiting with or without without kids.

No car is needed here at Honu Hale, we are a walk to everything AND if you decide to rent a car to make the trip to Haleakala, there is an AVIS within walking distance and scooter + bicycle rentals around the block! Experience Maui like a local and blend in!
